SHE HAD A FIGHT WITH DIRECTORS.. SHE WENT TO WAR WITH PRODUCERS AND WRITERS.. SHE ADMITTED BEING A CUTTER AS A KID.. And with all that done, Megan Fox's body in JENNIFER'S BODY still wasn't enough to bring a swarm of young boys and feminist women to the box office to see her..

The hope was for young men to dash to movie theaters to see their favorite starlet from TRANSFORMERS 1 and 2.. Also a devious plot assumed that women who believed in reproductive rights would look to Fox as foxy Jennifer as the hero: Sexy but also a maneater--literally..

However, after all the arguments with Michael Bay and the staff of TRANSFORMERS 2, Megan Fox on the cover of ROLLING STONE talking about one night stands making her sick, and her comments that she has a mouth and isn't afrid to use it, the movie JENNFIER'S BODY is dead on arrival at the box office..

The film, released in a little over 2,700 theaters nationwide, was only able to rake in an estimated $7 mil for the weekend// number one this weekend was kid flick *and somewhat humorous looking* CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS..

Perhaps a summer release would have done better for Jennifer and Megan's body.. After all, even though HALLOWEEN 2's Zombie remake-rehash-please no more failed at the box office, FINAL DESTINATION in 3d didn't. Even more, FD3d actually made over $100 million worldwide now--quite a feat for a horror flick that was bashed and thrashed as meaningless. It probably deserved the criticism.. but horror typically does well in summer heat..

The failure of the film may bring into light the fact that Fox has not starred in a film until this one, but instead being a co-star or backup.. Perhaps she's not ready for Angelina Jolie attention or even Marylin Monroe fame just yet..

Last week's failure at the box, WHITEOUT, is not even this week's top ten films..

SORORITY ROw has quickly tumbled to tenth place..
