EARLY NUMBERS ARE IN FOR 'THE OTHER GUYS' ..

Marky Mark and Will Ferrell may have finally been INCEPTION's match at the box office..

Leonardo DiCaprio's dream sci-fi thriller has been unstoppable at the summer box office for three weeks since its release. Finally this week, comedy THE OTHER GUYS has been well-received by box office reviewers, along with moviegoers..

The crowd in the theater when I saw the OTHER GUYS was laughing, almost convulsing at scenes..The film was creative, and for Hollywood standards, may have been one of the funnier films I've seen in years. While there were some weird Will Ferrell moments, he didn't take over the movie like one would think. Instead he added to the overall humor of the notion of the film itself..

Mark Wahlberg's acting was more on a SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE type standard, but it worked for his role in the movie..

Friday night box office numbers are in, THE OTHER GUYS opened at $13.2 mil -- and it is expected that it will have a strong Saturday along with a number one finish for the weekend..
