GUINNESS BOOK SAYS IT: 'SAW' HAS A RECORD

For those weary and tired of constant SAW films, the upcoming SAW 3D is it. It's over.. the jig..saw is up. But it's not going out without flare.

The long running franchise (doesn't it just seem too long running now?) has been deemed the 'most successful horror series' of all time, beating out classic films like NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, FRIDAY THE 13TH, and HALLOWEEN pre-Rob Zombie.

The Guinness Book of World Records shocked the producers of SAW as much as they have tried to shock audiences with blood-curdling images of gore on screen. Producer Mark Burg told Reuters he was 'in shock' after SAW was named it.. Guinness editor Craig Glenday will present the award on Friday.

The Guinness prize was one of the highlights (or lowlights) of this weekend's Comic Con convention..
