UFO over the Superdome?!
I just received an email from someone who swears that during the Super Bowl, when the power outage was taking place, he saw a UFO flying over the stadium during television coverage..
I appreciate my readers when they get involved and send me things like this, however I did not see this for myself and I’m only writing on it on here because, and I guarantee you, within the next few hours many websites will pick this up.. I’m hoping if they do pick it up they will actually show an image or video of this supposedly UFO..
I guess we can label this a developing story, or just a developing rumor that will go nowhere..

Power surges
Here is how the AP reported the power outage at the Super Bowl:
NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Power went out at the Superdome early in the third quarter of the Super Bowl on Sunday with the Baltimore Ravens leading the San Francisco 49ers 28-6.
The majority of lights failed shortly after Jacoby Jones returned the opening kickoff of the second half for a touchdown. There was 13:22 left in the quarter.
Here is the CNN news alert:The lights are coming back on in the Superdome after a power outage interrupted Super Bowl XLVII in the third quarter.
And that’s the story. News alerts saved for posterity.. As the game marches on..

Did the power of Beyonce really singing cause a power surge?
Jokes are forming, tweeters are twittering, and Facebookers are alive and well with sarcastic comments about what happened tonight at the Superdome..
In the meantime, this private message just was sent to me in Facebook:
it could be a social experiment. It maybe since Beyonce really sang this time the stadium power surged with excitement.
Maybe the best explanation yet? -

Darkness falls over the Superdome
During the 3rd quarter of the Superbowl, a sudden and eerie power outage stopped play and caused a delay of several minutes..
There was a power surge in the Super Dome during the big game..
The league is going to make a statement as to what caused the power outage.

Is parody dead?
The White House releases the image of Obama with a gun… Republicans mock, some Democrats shocked. But the Administration put an official government warning on the photo: Do. Not. Photoshop.
That warning hasn’t stopped freedom of speech from marching on. As a matter of fact an explosion or irrelevant and mocking hilarity has ensued on the Internet and especially Twitter..
Did the White House really think telling people online not to make a joke of a president would be an action treated seriously by the masses, the sarcastic asses?

The social media death plan
Take some time to read this thought provoking story on what you need to do to prepare your social media life for death.. In the stir, author Cheri Roberts reminds us:
More than 8000 FaceBook users die every day . That’s nearly three million a year, and they estimate that more than 30 million users have passed since its inception.
So it does become quite a conundrum.. Facebook and Twitter after death. Maybe it’s time to make a plan, as the Grim Reaper has few rules as to who he takes and when.

We live in the land of the bizarre
The White House has now released a photo of President Obama shooting a gun..
What did they think the reaction would be to this?
The White House was put in a position to defend the President’s statement that he shoots ‘all the time’.. So they had to go back to 2009 to find proof..
But should the Chief Executive be placed in a position to prove such a statement? Should his statement in fact even be news??
These are the bizarre and inane times we reside in.
