Happy Halloween will come early this year.. STRANGER THINGS 2 gets a new earlier release date.. Netflix has confirmed a new release date for the second season of the hit show, NME reports. “Stranger Things” Season 2 airs October 27, 2017. In a press release, Netflix has also provided a new description for the next season: “It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the demagorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab.
