Hackers Claim ‘Catastrophic’ Internet Archive Attack

An account on X under the name SN_BlackMeta claimed responsibility for the attack on The Internet Archive, a nonprofit organization, and implied that further attacks were planned. The Internet Archive is known for its digital library and the Wayback Machine. SN_BlackMeta has previously been linked to an attack against a Middle Eastern financial institution earlier this year, and a security firm has linked it to a pro-Palestinian hacktivist movement.

Encrypted passwords were also exposed and although these are relatively safe, users have been advised to change their passwords. And one expert has told Newsweek people should avoid browsing or using any files obtained from the site until it has declared an “all clear.”

This breach was accompanied by a series of Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks that temporarily took down the organization’s website, archive.org, on Wednesday and is continuing to affect the website currently. Wayback Machine is also inaccessible right now.

  • Milton the devil

    Milton the devil

People watching satellite imagery of Hurricane Milton last night, we’re confronted briefly with what appeared to be a demonic scowl looking back.

The series of satellite images posted on several different message boards in Facebook pages have found common ground amongst observers. It looks like a face, and it looks evil as hell.

All the preparation work, hopefully, is now done, and those who could have evacuated and should have evacuated have done so.

Let’s all hope for the safety and security of those in the path of this storm. Along with them, for those in the path of any storm surge and for any cleanup crews and official workers who will be tending to human needs in the immediate aftermath of the storm.we know a fierce brigade of lineman will be there. Government trailers will be set up.

But what’s very upsetting is knowing the lifetime of memories in homes that will be washed away, but even worse, the lives themselves that will be affected.

May God have mercy on Florida.

  • Joaquin Phoenix being blamed for JOKER 2 failures!

Joaquin Phoenix being blamed for JOKER 2 failures!

    Todd Phillips.. nah..
    The ending scene? No way.

    It is Joaquin Phoenix!!

At least that is what sources behind the scenes are claiming that insiders think.

After all that build up and advertising blitz of Phoenix and Lady Gaga setting to rock our Gotham City world, critics and movie goers alike had similar reactions: Shock and awe at the failure that was JOKER 2.. So many hated the entire film. Others just hated the ended..

(PS, we liked it until the final 5 minutes. All that cross universe nonsense.)

    But who is to blame?

    THE STAR!!

The Hollywood Reporter, their sources claim that Phoenix is being blamed as a big reason for Joker: Folie à Deux’s critical results. The publication reports, “the idea for the sequel came to Phoenix in a dream,” leading to the Academy-Award-winning actor and director Todd Phillips to pitch it to now-former-chairman of Warner Bros., Toby Emmerich. When asked who the targeted audience was for the DC sequel, “one outside source sums it up this way: “For Joaquin.””

Perhaps the real blame lays at the feet of Warner itself. Should this sequel have even been made?

No one seems to be smiling all the way to the bank in the aftermath of this comically bad disaster…

  • Hurricane Milton becomes a Category 5 storm

Hurricane Milton becomes a Category 5 storm

With winds of 160 mph, Milton has strengthened into the second Category 5 hurricane of the 2024 Atlantic hurricane season. Hurricane Beryl was the first storm to reach Category 5 status, doing so while it was traversing the Caribbean Sea in early July.

Milton was only a tropical storm on Sunday morning, but winds ramped up at a tremendous pace, spiking from 60 mph to 160 mph in just 28 hours. Additionally, an abundance of lighting has been flashing around the eye of Milton, an indication that it could still be strengthening.

  • Milton the miserable: Storm explodes in strength

Milton the miserable: Storm explodes in strength

Hurricane Milton is rapidly intensifying and will strengthen further over the record-warm Gulf of Mexico, potentially to Category 5…

It is then expected to grow in size, which means that although it may decrease in category, its dangerous impacts will be spread over a much larger area.

Milton is forecast to make landfall on Florida’s Gulf Coast on Wednesday. Its dangerous eye and eyewall could come ashore anywhere from Cedar Key at the north to Naples at the south – including possibly in the Tampa or Ft. Myers areas.

    Developing..

For anyone reading this in the path: Take advice, heat advice and get out now if you can. This storm is epic in nature and historic In ramifications.

  • Scientists are deploying seismic monitors to Mt Adams

Scientists are deploying seismic monitors to Mt Adams

Scientists have issued a statement following a spike in seismic activity at Mount Adams in central Washington

The volcano usually sees an earthquake every two or three years. There were six in September 2024 alone, the most in a single month since monitoring began in 1982.

An eruption of Mount Adams in Washington State could pose significant dangers due to its size, location, and geological characteristics. As one of the largest volcanoes in the Cascade Range, its eruption could trigger massive lahars—volcanic mudflows—caused by the rapid melting of glaciers on its slopes, threatening nearby communities, roads, and ecosystems.

While Mount Adams tends to produce less explosive eruptions compared to Mount St. Helens, the potential for lava flows, ashfall, and landslides still exists, which could devastate infrastructure, forests, and farmland in the surrounding areas.

Additionally, an eruption could trigger wildfires, especially in dry conditions, further compounding the risk to human life and property. Given its proximity to populated areas and vital resources, an eruption would require extensive emergency response and mitigation efforts to protect lives and reduce damage.

  • Keeping this Halloween spirit a little longer.

Keeping this Halloween spirit a little longer.

This is probably a brilliant move. Imagine the Spirit Halloween store closes down and immediately the spirit changes to Christmas.. a store opens up with ugly sweaters. A Santa Claus .. and maybe some Nightmare before Christmas socks and door nats?

It’s apparently going to happen. A few tests pop-up stores are coming.

    https://www.spirithalloween.com/content.jsp?pageName=spiritchristmas&fbclid=IwY2xjawFwItNleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHZziuuT1c_4oZt63lO87QmNkdDsdMF9gsWH3gX3S5dOCvFsNx0m1n0mFsA_aem_hBSgF50B2V0T-3_UecmTrg

Spirit Halloween is opening a couple test run.. at this point, these stores will be in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

And they are going to work!!

Honestly, we’re hopeful of some form of a mixture of the scary and supernatural along with the bright and cuddly imagery of Christmas.

At this point, the spirit store may as well just keep ongoing with spirit, New Year’s and Easter, and then while we’re at it. Spirit, fourth of july?Let’s make this a year round thing

There’s plenty of retail space to house it and most likely at least with Christmas. A number of customers that can make it work.

  • Finding cash under the rug

    Finding cash under the rug

So at this point in just a matter of a few days, the rug lady has become a household name.

Katie Santry skyrocketed in popularity on TikTok, and she now boasts millions of followers and her videos are being seen around the world, all because she thought a body was buried in a rug behind her house.

It turns out after much ado about nothing.. the police said that the cavaver dogs are wrong and there is no body.

But this other TikTok creator actually breaks down how much money Santry may have made since her account became monetized, and it reached record levels in hits.

.. it truly is the TikTok Lottery.

    @stephsharesitall

The rug lady has made waves this week! Going from 6k followers to 2million is beyond impressive, but how much money has she made?! I analyzed her account and my guess is she has made about $50k in 4 days. There is no fact to this, its simply based on my personal experience with the creator rewards program over the past year. She won the TikTok lottery this week!

Tropical Storm Milton has formed and is forecast to strike the Florida Gulf Coast as a significant hurricane by the middle of the week.

People there should prepare for significant impacts, especially those hit hard recently by Hurricane Helene.

Let’s hope and pray this storm doesn’t reach a high degree of rapid intensification as it is not absolutely not what this area of the nation needs attain time.
