Over the past several days, it has become apparent that this nation is being observed as moving into a trajectory that may be unprecedented. The notion that UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson could be gunned down in New York City has been met with an outpouring of comments online, where applause and calls for protection of the killer have been widely noted.
This reaction emerged after a $10,000 reward was posted.
Troubling stories shared by individuals, particularly involving loved ones suffering from cancer and other horrid diseases, have illustrated the profound impact of a healthcare system where patients are perceived as mere numbers in a massive industry.
No healthcare system can be perfect, but deeply distressing narratives have surfaced, particularly during a time of year that often evokes heightened emotions. Holidays, for many, magnify grief, especially for families who have lost relatives during this season.
Whether the killing of Brian Thompson stemmed from a politically motivated act regarding healthcare or an unrelated agenda remains unknown.
Speculation about a potential hit job persists, but the nation seems united in a troubling way. While some decry the applause for such an act, the event has highlighted the systemic issues within healthcare to a significant degree.
The emotional and financial toll of the healthcare system, exacerbated by artificial intelligence and other monetary-driven mechanisms, has been profoundly felt. To the families impacted, a loved one is far more than just a number to an organization. However, the solutions to these systemic issues remain unclear. The motives of the shooter, as well as the likelihood of his apprehension, are yet to be determined.
What is evident is the widespread frustration felt by people who perceive themselves as victims of a monolithic bureaucracy characterized by paperwork, questionnaires, and impersonal systems asking you to take surveys after phone calls that go no where.
Voices of discontent echo, much like the anthem of Les Misérables: “Do you hear the people sing?” Perhaps a healthcare system that fosters fairness, humanity, and compassion could quell this anger. Such an outcome, while akin to a Christmas miracle, is one that the nation desperately needs.
New footage of multiple eerie ‘triangle’ craft flying above New Jersey has only compounded the mystery for locals.
At least five or possibly six of the unidentified drones were captured in the new, 50-second cell phone video, which one commenter declared was ‘the clearest video yet.’ One drone, heard roaring in the skies as it moved through the darkness, appeared to have a cluster of white lights on its underbelly and red lights blinking at the tips of its wings and tail.

Governor Phil Murphy has attempted to calm residents claiming these true UFOs pose ‘no known threat to the public at this time,’ but FBI and local police are actively investigating.
Concerns have heightened over the proximity of these drone-like UFOs to President-elect Donald Trump’s Bedminster golf course, US military research facility Picatinny Arsenal and critical local infrastructure.
For the 6th night that people have been made aware of, drones have flown the military base Fort Dix..
One common thread of witnesses is that people feel the drones look, and sound like airliners.. but they are not. They also move erratically, and at least one person told media that their clock radio stopped working when the drone was above their heads..

The location of drone activity also seems to be expanding..
It is creeping into New York City now..
And Pennsylvania..
And let’s not forget this headline from October that.. in hindsight.. seems a little LESS far fetched than it did then:

USGS is reporting significant seismic activity in California this morning with more than 100 earthquakes being reported across northern California.
The largest of the bunch is a magnitude 7.0 event which struck west-northwest of Petrolia, California on the northern coast of the state. Also of note is a significant swarm of earthquakes striking just south of Clear Lake and north of San Francisco, where 77 earthquakes there alone struck within the last 24 hours.
Hundreds of people across California and Oregon have already reported to USGS they felt the strong off-shore earthquake.
Developing..

Today take some time to celebrate the dark counterpart to St. Nicholas.
The one and only Krampus, the legendary horned figure of ancient lore..
.. here is your public service announcement:
Krampus eminds us to stay on our best behavior as he roams tonight… santa knows if you’ve been bad and good .. as does the Anti Claus.
So maybe it’s too late for redemption anyway.. happy Krampusnacht!
And to all a safe night ..

Well, it was not the full-fledged. Alien invasion that people were worried about people in Morris County, New Jersey continued seeing drones last night…
Multiple people in Morris County, New Jersey, witnessed and reported sightings of mysterious drones.
Officials have confirmed spotting 4-5 unidentified drones and are unsure who is operating them.
This situation is still developing, and authorities are urging the public to report any information that could help identify the source of these drones.
The drone sightings have been making national news with outlets reporting that the FBI is also investigating.
During The Ground Zero with Clyde Lewis national radio show last night, Lewis was talking about the drone sightings. During his program, he was able to also post an image on his Facebook page of one of the drones purportedly being seen over Morris County.

Just as an aside, I had an interesting dream last night about drones in the dream. My mother and father, who are both dead in real life, were still there and we were having some sort of an outdoor party.
I saw a drone above us. And when I made contact with the drone by waving at, it began to showcase images from horror movies to me, including a giant Chucky, also interestingly in this dream, I got my phone out.
I took a photograph because I wanted to post it onto my website.
I’ve heard before that no one ever dreams about phones, and even when they do that. Technology doesn’t work in my dream. The drone technology and the phone technology, both were efficient and worked properly.

So will we end 2024 with an Alien War?
Well, it seems like it’s been long enough now, since the Trump Rogan interview so tonight must begin the great Alien War in the skies. Stay safe out there, earthlings.
And as much as we write that in sarcasm, we also write that in hope that the Alien Wars really will not happen and that the 2009 prediction just got something right by chance, and that the post Trump Rogan interview will not feature the calamity in the mostly peaceful skies above us.
Clif High, a computer scientist and linguist, spoke in a YouTube video about his model’s prediction, known as the “39 days to melee,” that said a battle between humans and aliens in the sky would occur 39 days after a trigger incited the incident. What High calls the “temporal marker” was podcaster Joe Rogan’s interview with President-elect Donald Trump on October 25.
High said: “So we’re going to have these…some kind of weird confrontation visible contention which we could probably call and term combat in the skies that will show up and it’ll show up at a predictable point, which is probably something over a month—and we’ll put down 30 days or 39 days something—over a month after the temporal marker of, um, Trump and Rogan. And that’s just the beginning of all of this, right.”
War of the worlds!!! Will it start tonight? Or is it just too cold to do that yet? TIME WILL TELL..

The asteroid, designated COWECP5, is forecasted to streak through the sky over Eastern Siberia at 11:14am ET.
Scientists say the small space rock, measuring 27 inches in diameter, is expected to burn up in the atmosphere and poses no threat to humans on the ground.

ANY NEWS OUT THERE POSTING IMAGES OR FOOTAGE OF LINES? Those lines if they even exist during the early hours of Black Friday are nothing at all like they used to be.
Black Friday, the historically profitable shopping day that compels us out of our houses and retailers into the black, is over as we knew it.
You were able to sense it for a few years.. and then last year it really hit everyone. No lines. No fights.. nothing.
We are traditionalists here at the Horror Report.. and we’ve been using the ‘AND THEY’RE OFF’ headline since we existed in the early part of the millennium.. But 2024 may be the year we officially retire it for good.
After all Black Friday has become a shadow of what it once was..
Like 20 years ago in 2004 when we spoke about fights in aisles:

Or 9 years ago in 2015 when we showcased amazing imagery of Black Friday bashings:

The saddest part is those who are less than age 19 or 20 may not even recall the ‘good old days.’ But before you lament too much, let’s not forget those good old days were often embarrassing, and results from Black Friday were often such we would be lectured by media moguls about the plight and fall of America. But .. wow.. those malls were packed, weren’t they?
All of this is not to say that corporations won’t make money and that people are done Christmas shopping. Quite the opposite. Companies have slickly entered the market place of ideas in the tech era, making often even larger profits than when we all got in cars and went to malls. But what we will lack are the fun images.. the frivolity of fights and battle scars cash register wars. Those days are gone.
Was it COVID? Was it inevitable? And …will it one day come back?
Until it does.. we only have nostalgia and memories.. Imagery of times now completely sealed in the trash heap of history. But thanks to modern tech we can look at the old world and see what we once were.
