The new series will be a complete reboot of the continuity from the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer television series. Taking an “Ultimate Marvel” kind of approach, the new Buffy the Vampire Slayer comic will still feature Buffy and the Scoobies that fans know and love but will update her story for the modern era.

The 1 million-euro ($1.2-million), one-megawatt plant is located just a hundred metres (yards) from a giant metal dome sealing the remains of the the nuclear power plant which suffered a catastrophic meltdown in 1986.
“Today we are connecting the station to the power system of Ukraine,” Yevgen Varyagin, the head of Solar Chernobyl, a Ukrainian-German company behind the project, said at the launch ceremony.
At 1:23 a.m. on April 26 1986, when extremely hot nuclear fuel rods were lowered into cooling water at the nuclear plant, an immense amount of steam was created, which — because of the RBMK reactors’ design flaws — created more reactivity in the nuclear core of reactor number 4. The resultant power surge caused an immense explosion that detached the 1,000-ton plate covering the reactor core, releasing radiation into the atmosphere and cutting off the flow of coolant into the reactor. A few seconds later, a second explosion of even greater power than the first blew the reactor building apart and spewed burning graphite and other parts of the reactor core around the plant, starting a number of intense fires around the damaged reactor and reactor number 3, which was still operating at the time of the explosions.
The explosions killed two plant workers, who were the first of several workers to die within hours of the accident. For the next several days, as emergency crews tried desperately to contain the fires and radiation leaks, the death toll climbed as plant workers succumbed to acute radiation sickness.

On Sunday, September 16, engineers at Facebook detected some unusual activity on the social media platform’s networks. It was an attack, the biggest security breach in Facebook’s history. And it would take the company 11 more days to stop it.
Now, almost a week since the public was first told of the attack, we still barely know anything about what happened.

October 2018 is primed to get off to a record start with Sony’s release of Venom debuting in a massive 4,250 locations and looking to top Gravity’s $55.7 million debut back in 2013.
Venom‘s haul, drawn from roughly 3,500 theaters across North America, is the top October number for preview screenings in box office history. It was followed by the Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper musical drama A Star Is Born, which brought in $4.6 million between showings from Tuesday to Thursday.
For several hours Wednesday, subscribers with several networks, notably AT&T and T-Mobile, reported being unable to download data or use their apps soon after the text alert, which was sent at 11:18 a.m. Pacific Time.
“The presidential text alert went out and after that I lost all internet, Gmail, apps — everything stopped working,” said Sarah Mendivel, a medical researcher at Seattle Children’s Hospital. When Mendivel finally got through to AT&T, she was told “they didn’t know what it was,” she said in a phone interview Wednesday afternoon.
Soon after the outage, both T-Mobile and AT&T reported being aware of the outages but did not know why they had occurred or when service would be fully restored, according to online news accounts. But by 5:30, AT&T was reporting the problem had been addressed.
