As the population of the planet gets ready to top 7 billion by Halloween, and maybe 10 billion some time in the near future, the feces will hit the fan. The problem of human waste is already an issue of health and safety, but the prospect of more passed movements on the planet earth comes with an additional weighty conundrum. What to do with all the excrement?

Toilets and even outhouses aren’t everywhere. Doing business in a bush is still a popular way to leave out waste. In the end, hygiene education will be the key to survival. It’s either learning to move the right way or moving away from the movements.

That or just hope flies work in overdrive.

New plan is to have street lights equipped with Homeland Security ‘applications’ in order for the agency to track vehicles and pedestrian traffic, along with giving ‘civic announcements’ to the public..

NYPD keeping list of Muslims who change names

For generations, people from other nations emigrating to United States have changed their names to make them sound more American.. But in NYC, the police are tracking Muslims who do just that.

Recent news has broken of the CIA and FBI working closely with NYPD officials on the monitoring and tracking of citizens.. Like other NYPD intelligence programs created in the past decade, this new one of keeping a listing of Muslims who change names involved monitoring behavior protected by the First Amendment…

The most recent news was published by the Associated Press. The AP report says this other piece of information in its runs of the story:

‘Early on, police added people with American names to the list so that if details of the program ever leaked out, the department would not be accused of profiling, according to one person briefed on the program’

The new AP info doesn’t leave much of a question on profiling given the circumstances of the allegations.

The amazing fall light show

It’s not typical at all to see Northern Lights traveling as far South as Nevada, Texas, and Arizona.. but on the night of the 24th of October, a big blast off of the sun was able to cause just that: An amazing spectacle. The Northern Lights, a geomagnetic event, all the way in the South.. lands and skies not used to beautiful aurora moments..

The ejection hit Earth’s magnetic field on Monday. At 2pm ET the lights began to interract with the sun. At night, the skies lit up with beautiful shades of blue, green, and red, across the United States of America. It was one of the stronger and more intense light shows ever seen in recent memory.

An image on Spaceweather shows the CME that started it all..

The storm is subsiding.. but onlookers should be aware that some light shows may still be seen. Gaze at that sky.. you never know what will slam into Earth.
