Reports: Radiation from Chernobyl now deadly for Russian troops

    image

A RUSSIAN soldier has been killed by radiation from the destroyed Chernobyl nuclear plant in Ukraine after his unit camped in a toxic zone nearby, according to reports. The soldier was part of a unit that captured the Chernobyl plant in the first days of the war.

The troops then occupied the 20-mile exclusion zone around the plant, where people are banned from living due to dangerous levels of radiation left over by the nuclear disaster in 1986.

Ukraine’s state nuclear company Energoatom said Russian troops had dug trenches in the radioactive mud of the most contaminated part of the exclusion zone and had received “significant doses” of radiation.

They had reportedly camped in the dangerous zone known as the Red Forest, where radiation levels are at their highest and become ill “very quickly”.

Troops also drove their trucks along dirt roads without wearing radiation gear, disturbing poisonous radioactive dust, Reuters reported

  • The sad decline of Bruce Willis

The sad decline of Bruce Willis

A few weeks ago we reported on circulating rumors that Bruce Willis was going to give up acting due to cognitive decline..

That sadly now has become true..

And it was almost getting dangerous according to some reporting.

Bruce Willis, who is stepping away from acting amid cognitive difficulties caused by aphasia, alarmed movie staffers two years ago when he misfired a gun loaded with a blank — and last year perplexingly asked what he was doing on a film set, according to a report.

The 67-year-old “Die Hard” star, whose family announced Wednesday he had received the brain disorder diagnosis, had been exhibiting signs of decline on set in recent years, nearly two dozen sources concerned about his well-being told the Los Angeles Times.

But we had no idea that Disney was like the Vatican, unto itself..??

Stop the presses! Disney has its own government ?!

Forgive me, masters and oracles of knowledge across the Internet land, but as a lonely peasant from up in the Ukrainian/Irish coal region of Pennsylvania, I had no idea that Disney was a government unto itself..

I, along with many others perhaps, have just now become aware of it because Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is threatening to strip Disney up itself government authority. This all in the heels of the battle over the quote ‘don’t say gay’ in his state.

So basically Disney is the equivalent of the Vatican?

    From CNN:

DeSantis’ remarks follow a revelation that some Republican state lawmakers are considering repealing a 1967 state law that established the Reedy Creek Improvement District, giving Disney the power to establish its own government in central Florida.

“Yesterday was the 2nd meeting in a week [with] fellow legislators to discuss a repeal of the 1967 Reedy Creek Improvement Act, which allows Disney to act as its own government,” state Rep. Spencer Roach, a Republican, wrote Wednesday on Twitter. “If Disney wants to embrace woke ideology, it seems fitting that they should be regulated by Orange County.”

Lawmakers recently concluded their legislative business for the year and would not be able to repeal the act until they meet again next year, unless DeSantis or legislative leaders convene a special session to address it.
