    NASA Announces death of the International Space Station in 2031!!

    NASA says it plans to retire the International Space Station in 2031 by crashing it into an uninhabited stretch of the Pacific Ocean. Phil McAlister, director of commercial space at NASA Headquarters, said in a press release that the private sector will be taking the lead on the development of future space station projects and that NASA will help ensure a smooth transition. 

    “The private sector is technically and financially capable of developing and operating commercial low-Earth orbit destinations, with NASA’s assistance,” he said. “We look forward to sharing our lessons learned and operations experience with the private sector to help them develop safe, reliable, and cost-effective destinations in space.”

    As we gear up for the 3 hour slightly horrific THE BATMAN movie coming out in just a few weeks, we were sent this image by someone who also is a Batman fan: It is a series of images of the JOKER from the 1940s original to the modern day 2021..

    We are hardpressed to say that any JOKER since 2003 has been as cool as ALL of the Jokers prior to that time frame.. Especially amazing, of course, is the Mark Hammil voiced Joker from the 1993 animated show..

    But the BEST of all, in our opinion, is that lifeless original 1940 clown prince of crime.. haphazardly glazed over eyes.. vacant smile.. Lifeless corpse like face.

    THE BATMAN will feature the Riddler in a true crime-esque script.. That should be cool.

    But that JOKER just remains the constant perfect villain in all of comic history.

    Two judges reportedly walked off the stage in protest after Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani was unmasked as an exiting costumed contestant during a recent taping of Fox’s The Masked Singer. 

    “Deadline hears that as soon as they saw Giuliani, judges Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke quickly left the stage in protest,” the site reported Wednesday night. “Deadline hears that while Jeong and Thicke exited (they eventually returned), fellow judges Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger remained onstage.

    Meanwhile the virus which may have originated there is suddenly surging amongst athletes and coaches..

    The AP reports: Athletes and team officials are testing positive for COVID-19 at much higher rates than other people arriving in China for the Beijing Olympics, organizers said Tuesday.

    Figures released by local organizers showed 11 positive tests for COVID-19 among 379 athletes and officials arriving Monday. They have been taken into isolation hotels to limit the spread of the infection and could miss their events.

    The positive test rate of 2.9% for athletes and officials compared to 0.66% for Olympic “stakeholders,” a group which includes workers and media, in the same period. There were 1,059 people in that category.

    When President Joe Biden met with U.S. governors at the White House on Monday, he was the only one given a glass of water — lest anyone else remove their mask to take a drink.

    The president was seated more than 10 feet from everyone, including Vice President Kamala Harris and members of his Cabinet.

    A White House staffer who was wearing a surgical mask when Biden entered the room was quickly handed an N95 version.

    These are just some of the extraordinary efforts on the part of the White House to keep the president from getting COVID-19, even though he’s gotten both of his regular vaccinations and his booster.

    Whoopi Goldberg has been suspended from ABC’s The View for two weeks in light of her controversial comments about the Holocaust.

    ABC News president Kim Godwin confirmed the suspension on Tuesday and released a statement: “Effective immediately, I am suspending Whoopi Goldberg for two weeks for her wrong and hurtful comments. While Whoopi has apologized, I’ve asked her to take time to reflect and learn about the impact of her comments. The entire ABC News organization stands in solidarity with our Jewish colleagues, friends, family and communities.”

    Days ago Goldberg generated the controversy by saying that the extermination of the Jews by the Nazis during the Holocaust was not about race since both were white..

    “We find no evidence that lockdowns, school closures, border closures, and limiting gatherings have had a noticeable effect on COVID-19 mortality,” the researchers wrote.

    But the research paper said lockdowns did have “devastating effects” on the economy and contributed to numerous social ills.

    “They have contributed to reducing economic activity, raising unemployment, reducing schooling, causing political unrest, contributing to domestic violence, and undermining liberal democracy,” the report said.

    Today, full FDA approval is granted for Moderna’s vaccine for the virus. However, the name seems to be quite frightening and it reminds us of a human character called Spikor.. .
