The aircraft was said to have been flying over Georgia when the baffled staff member saw the spectacular display in the skies.
In the video – shot on an iPhone 13 Pro Max – the dark airspace was illuminated by an array of glowing lights.
The flight attendant explained he began trying to “take a video of another aircraft flying just above us opposite direction at 40,000 ft” when he noticed the unusual object.

Philly correctional officers are quitting in huge numbers
In July, after 18 years as a correctional officer, Malloy joined an exodus of 25 workers each month who have been leaving jobs at the city jail complex in Northeast Philadelphia during the pandemic. Some, like her, were midcareer workers who had envisioned staying on through retirement. They quit, they told The Inquirer, amid what they described as a mounting mental-health and public safety crisis.
Several described experiencing panic attacks on the job, and said they had begun taking prescription antianxiety medications. Others described physical illness they believed resulted from the stress of long hours and unsafe staffing levels.

Warrant: 5-year-old might have started deadly Philadelphia fire !!
Investigators are looking into whether a 5-year-old child who was playing with a lighter set a Christmas tree on fire, sparking a conflagration that killed 12 family members in a Philadelphia rowhome, officials revealed Thursday.
That disclosure was included in a search warrant application as city and federal investigators sought to determine the cause of the blaze, the city’s deadliest in more than a century, which took the lives of three sisters and several of their children early Wednesday.
Jane Roh, spokesperson for District Attorney Larry Krasner, confirmed the contents of the search warrant, which was first reported by The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Philadelphia fire kills 13 people, including 7 children, officials say
Firefighters found “heavy fire” in a kitchen area in front of the second floor, and there was “nothing slowing that fire from moving,” Philadelphia Deputy Fire Commissioner Craig Murphy said.
Thirteen people were killed; two others were taken to hospitals; and eight people got out by themselves, Murphy said.
“It was terrible,” Murphy said. “This is probably one of the worst fires I ever been to.”
Twenty-six people lived in the three-story building — eight on the first floor, and 18 on the second and third floors, fire officials said.
The housing authority was not aware 26 people were living in the building, said Dinesh Indala, the agency’s senior executive vice president of operations. The agency is checking how many were allowed to live there, he said.

‘Nevermind’ album cover lawsuit against Nirvana is dismissed
A judge dismissed a lawsuit against the rock band Nirvana over their iconic 1991 “Nevermind” album cover, which depicts a baby swimming naked in a pool.
Spencer Elden, who was photographed in a Pasadena, California, swimming pool at the age of 4 months and is now 30, filed the lawsuit in August, alleging child pornography. The photo was digitally imposed to include a dollar bill on a fishhook to make it look like Elden was trying to grab it.
On Monday, Judge Fernando M. Olguin with the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California dismissed the lawsuit after Elden missed a Dec. 30 deadline to file an opposition to the defendants’ request that the suit be tossed out.
