Halloween 2 actor dead after battle with lung cancer

Cliff Emmich has passed away at the age of 85 after a battle with lung cancer.

Halloween II fans will remember Cliff as Mr Garrett, Haddonfield Memorial’s security guard.

    May he rest in peace..

    From the HOLLYWOOD REPORTER:

Veteran character actor Cliff Emmich—who had memorable roles in movies including Payday and Halloween II—has died of lung cancer at the age of 85. Born in Cincinnati but raised in Los Angeles, Emmich broke into show business with a bit part in 1969’s Gaily, Gaily and racked up dozens of credits on the big and small screen. Michael Landon reportedly wrote a part specially for him: a middle-aged dad whose daughter is ashamed that he is fat. “Fat guys usually get cast as bad guys,” he said in a 1978 interview. “I’ve been the heavy ‘heavy’ in Police WomanStarsky and Hutch and Charlie’s Angels. This is my first chance to portray a nice man.”

HORROR REPORT flashback: What we wrote about SILENT NIGHT DEADLY NIGHT in 2001

From the deep dark hallways of the Horror Report and the annals of anarchy.. From December 2001.. the HORROR REPORT went seasonal with a review of bad horror.. SILENT NIGHT DEADLY NIGHT..

Submitted for your Mandela Effected approval.. the screen shot in time:

    We concluded:

I will admit that if done right this concept could have amounted to something, at least for the first movie. However, it was horrible in all aspects and it died before it ever had a chance to live, and then they continued to beat the dead body 4 more times with a large stick. The Silent Night, Deadly Night series, although incredibly bad does have a certain charm to it. That charm may only be the incredible ease that exists when making fun of it.

The movie is no better to us today than it was then.

  • Your Krampus Weekend Crash Course

    Your Krampus Weekend Crash Course

Here is your Krampus weekend crash course.. for those who still don’t know.. (And no, not the movie, but the real lure)

Krampusnacht. The Feast of St. Nicholas is celebrated in parts of Europe on 6 December.

On the preceding evening of 5 December, Krampus Night or Krampusnacht, the wicked hairy devil appears on the streets. Sometimes accompanying St. Nicholas and sometimes on his own, Krampus visits homes and businesses.

The paranormal should be kept in the season!!

St. Nick is the patron saint of kids. Krampus is a force children don’t want to deal with.. with whips and punishments!

The history of Krampus dates back much further than just modern Christianity and movie theater scripts.

The notion of a Christmas demon has been around for some time.
And the parables of Christmas showcase how this time of year is a dark and bleak moment before the rebirth and rise of the sun, the solstice where the days begin to lengthen again.. When the ‘son’ is born.

Some believe Krampus is a pagan character who eventually transformed into the modern Christian version of the devil himself. Pagans today celebrate Krampus with runs, modern festivals, and homages to the night air as it descends over the land.

Krampus has been the subject of widespread European attention for centuries. Over the past few years he has regained some official authority as the pagan beast of the holiday season because of his reemergence in pop culture and movies that are named after him.

In some European lure, St. Nicholas and Krampus travel together, judging children as they meet them.

So today.. as Krampus looms after nightfall, lock up your house tight and hope you’ll hear the bells of St. Nick instead of the chains of the one..the only…Krampus.

A staple of Atlantic City’s Boardwalk is closing

The Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! museum said Thursday that it will close on Dec. 31 after more than 26 years of existence along the Boardwalk in Atlantic City..

“We’re grateful for the support of our fans and guests, whose curiosity, open-mindedness, and enthusiasm have contributed to our success for over 26 years,” Chris Connelly, the museum’s manager, said in a statement.

“We’re thankful to have offered a unique form of entertainment and education at the Jersey Shore, and we hope we have helped create wonderful memories for those who have come to visit.”

Connelly said the museum is closing because its local franchisee is reaching the end of its agreement with Ripley’s.

“They’re going to reimagine the space and come up with something new and fresh for the future,” he said.

The information is true. But some have chosen to believe it, while others not.

Golfer bites off another person’s nose to spite his face

It is controversial to say, sure.. But golf inspires rage and anger. Heart rates increase, and you couple that health problem with alcohol.. and no matter how many people say they golf to relax, that is the furthest from the truth.

This story could prove it: A man biting off another golfer’s nose!

Mississippi golfer bites off man’s nose in argument over game, police say

Police say an argument over a game led one golfer to bite the nose off another in the parking lot of a casino.

An argument between two men over a golf game led one golfer to bite the nose off the other in the parking lot of a casino, police said.

This is more fodder for the argument that golf inspires true deep seated rage. Avoid golf at all costs..

Idaho murders: Expert says Law enforcement should not dismiss ‘incel’ angle

Forensic psychologist Kris Mohandie said that the brutal nature of the murders, combined with the appearance of the victims as popular students on campus, leads him to believe that law enforcement should take a close look at the suspect potentially being an “incel.”

Incel, which is short for involuntary celibate, refers to a misogynistic subculture of romantically frustrated men who frequently share their anger online about not being able to find a partner.

“There’s a lot of hatred and anger that is evidenced in these crimes – the level of violence, the resolve, the obvious hostility in such a personal hands-on attack,” Mohandie told Fox News Digital. “That is a lot of intensity. So it is not inconsistent with somebody that may have that kind of motivation. There’s something hateful and rage filled about it.”
