While Tiktok allowed the stream to continue unabashed people who reported about it, including the Horror Report, were issued strikes on social media for reprint about the matter in the aftermath..

Police have responded to Perez Hilton’s Miami home after the celebrity blogger shared what appeared to be a video in which he self-harms.
Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to the New York Post Page Six Tuesday night they’d received “multiple calls” of “an individual livestreaming acts of self-harm on social media” and dispatched deputies to investigate.
Officers spoke with Hilton’s family members who were on the scene and ultimately decided to “tactfully disengage” while continuing to “monitor the situation” after confirming Hilton, 48, was alone inside.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day has officially swung into theaters and absolutely rocked the box office in all the right ways. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the latest chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker alongside Zendaya, with Sadie Sink making her Marvel debut as Jean Grey.
The movie is amazing .. the money rolling in is deserved..
You can feel it and see it in the crowds. People of every age and every background are heading to theaters together, and they’re leaving with smiles on their faces. That’s something very few movies accomplish anymore. Most movie audiences feel fragmented, but Spider-Man manages to unite audiences in genuine excitement and joy.
We all need a hero..
The acting is superb, the action sequences are thrilling for a big screen, and the storyline never loses sight of the human element that has always made Spider-Man so relatable. Tom Holland once again proves why he has become the defining Spider-Man of his generation, while Zendaya helps rekindle Peter and MJ’s unforgettable romance but yet somehow forgettable romance (You’d have to see the movie..)
Sadie Sink’s as Jean Grey was handled perfectly, leading to several scenes that were surprisingly emotional.
After seeing Sadie wield incredible powers on the big screen, some couldn’t help but think she almost feels like the version of Eleven we never got on Stranger Things!
One of the movie’s greatest strengths is that you don’t necessarily have to be a Marvel encyclopedia to enjoy it. Casual moviegoers can simply sit back and experience a fantastic superhero adventure, while longtime Marvel fans will have a blast catching the countless Easter eggs and connections sprinkled throughout the film.
If there’s been one recurring criticism, even with its outstanding 98% Rotten Tomatoes score, it’s that the movie is darker and more serious than previous Spider-Man films. BUT OF COURSE IT IS!
The stakes have grown. Peter Parker’s existence is becoming more of a burden than a blessing, and watching him wrestle with anger, loss, responsibility, and maturity makes for a far more compelling hero than simply watching him crack jokes in every scene.
We’re not quite ready to call it the movie of the year just yet, but it may very well be the movie of the summer.
Will it receive Oscar nominations for Best Picture, Best Actor, or Best Actress? Certainly not. And that’s precisely why so many people have grown frustrated with the Academy Awards or accolades of that nature.. A movie that millions of people genuinely love, one that fills theaters and creates shared memories, will likely be ignored while smaller films seen by only a fraction of the audience receive the industry’s highest honors. But that is besides the point of this opening weekend..
So here’s to Tom Holland and everyone involved in making what may very well be the best Spider-Man movie yet. More than anything, thank you for giving audiences a couple of hours to escape reality and reminding us what going to the movies is supposed to feel like.
One of the more memorable episodes of The Twilight Zone was “The Midnight Sun.” In that episode, the Earth was being pulled closer and closer to the sun. Daylight became relentless, temperatures soared.. People began to act as they would when light and heat never ends..
And now decades later there appears to be a company that is at least entertaining an idea that sounds like it could have come from the writers’ room of The Twilight Zone.
A California startup known as Reflect Orbital has been created with the goal of reflecting sunlight back to Earth after dark by using satellites equipped with large mirrors. While the concept is still in its infancy, the vision being presented is one in which sunlight could eventually be purchased on demand. The company has even suggested a future price of around $5,000 per hour for targeted illumination.
Despite hundreds of public comments opposing a giant space mirror that would shine a beam of light roughly five kilometres wide back down to Earth, the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC), has given it the green light.
The company building the space mirror, Reflect Orbital, is touting its proposal as “sunlight on demand,” which could be used for any number of reasons, it says, such as agriculture, solar farms or for search and rescue.
Astronomers and other groups are sounding the alarm about the project, citing numerous reasons, including the threat to species dependent on a pristine night sky, the threat to important astronomical research and more.
At first glance, it almost sounds too far-fetched to be taken seriously.
Reflect Orbital was founded in 2021 by former SpaceX engineer Ben Nowack and former Zipline engineer Tristan Semmelhack.
Significant venture capital backing has already been secured from firms including Lux Capital and Sequoia Capital. It has also been revealed that the company has received research funding through the U.S. Air Force’s AFWERX Small Business Innovation Research program, where possible military applications have been explored alongside civilian ones.
People most likely consider it a silly joke.. But the concept is real..
The first satellite is expected to serve only as a proof of concept, producing illumination that would reportedly be closer to moonlight than daylight.
That alone is unlikely to change anyone’s life just yet.
The longer-term roadmap, however, is where eyebrows may begin to rise and sunscreen needs to be applied at night..
Over the next several years, the number of satellites is hoped to grow from a handful into the dozens, then the thousands, and eventually, if the company’s vision is realized, to more than 50,000 satellites capable of directing daylight-like illumination onto selected locations around the world.
Whether that timeline is realistic remains to be seen.
It could very well turn out that the technology proves too expensive, too complicated, or too controversial. It is also entirely possible that regulators could determine the environmental consequences simply aren’t worth the benefits. Those questions have not yet been answered.
Concerns have been raised about circadian rhythms and whether introducing artificial sunlight into the middle of the night could affect human sleep patterns. Similar questions have been asked about birds, insects, sea turtles, bats, and other wildlife that have evolved around predictable cycles of darkness and light. And trees… and all of nature..
Astronomers have also expressed concern that an increasingly reflective sky could make observations of the universe even more difficult.

For now, what exists is a startup with an ambitious vision, experienced founders, venture capital support, military research funding, and a prototype that still has much to prove.
One day the phrase “I’d like to order two hours of sunshine for my backyard tonight” won’t sound quite as ridiculous as it does today.
If that ever happens, it probably won’t just be a technological milestone but represent the moment when humanity decides that even the night sky can be commercialized and sold.. If any of us have money by then..

Summertime is so often filled with joyful occasions, vacations, and waves of fun. But in Santa Cruz, California, those waves turned dangerous when tsunami-like surf battered the shoreline. Reports indicate there were multiple water rescues that day, but one in particular has now captured the attention of the nation.
A 10-year-old boy was struggling for his life in the powerful surf when 16-year-old Ryder Williams swam out, reached him, and refused to let go. As the waves continued to crash around them, Ryder kept the child afloat until a human chain of beachgoers was able to pull them both to safety.
Video of the rescue, captured by photographer Scott Vander Dussen and shared by Santa Cruz Now, is remarkable to watch. At one point, as others attempted to enter the water to help, Ryder reportedly told them to stay back because he had the situation under control. It’s one of those moments that genuinely sends chills down your arms because you realize just how much depended on the courage and composure of a 16-year-old in a matter of seconds.
Now that Ryder’s identity has been made public, the story has exploded. His father, retired firefighter Shane Williams, said it brought him to tears when Ryder explained to the UK Guardian and other news outlets that he refused to let go because he knew the boy’s life depended on it. He also said Ryder doesn’t understand why everyone is making such a big deal out of it.. he was simply doing the job he had trained to do.

We live in a time when magazine covers and social media attention are often reserved for politicians, celebrities, influencers, and people famous simply for being famous. Maybe it’s time we spend a little more energy celebrating people like Ryder Williams..ordinary individuals who, when the moment arrived, chose courage over fear.
If there was ever a Hero of the Day, or perhaps even the Hero of the Summer, this young man has certainly earned the title.
Rarely does a movie come around with nearly 100% scores for both critics and audiences on rotten tomatoes.com but we have our film doing that. The Odyssey is being already called the potential movie of the year and all eyes will now be on how much money it makes.

Netflix did us dirty !? Or the Duffers .. either way as Stranger Things reaches a decade in age, there’s no hidden season or episode.. instead we are getting a book and a grainy edition of the original show..

A new release from the Duffer Brothers has been announced, and it will be a 392-page hardcover featuring never-before-seen film stills, behind-the-scenes photos, concept art, and person images captured on the set of Stranger Things across all five seasons. The book is written by Matt and Ross Duffer with an introduction from filmmaker Frank Darabont, who was a guest director for season 5.
Stranger Things‘ new photo book is priced at $195 and is part of Assouline’s Legends Collection. The new release will be available from September 8 at assouline.com. An excerpt from Darabont states, “This book shares with my fellow fans images of a time and a place and an effort that will never be repeated.”
Conformity Gators are having a field day as we now sit just hours away from the 10th anniversary of Stranger Things premiering on Netflix.
For a long time, there has been an overwhelming theory among a fringe group of fans that “Conformity Gate” is happening. A lot of dates have been shared, and a lot of misses have happened. It’s almost like when psychics predict something that doesn’t occur and simply move on to the next date.
Now, however, Matthew Modine is adding to the mystery.
Whether he’s trolling, having fun, or subtly hinting that Conformity Gate could actually be real, fans are paying attention. And listen, we’re not saying Conformity Gate is real… though we still kind of, sort of, hope it would be.
Modine has been busy posting strange little snippets related to Stranger Things, and in at least one comment to a fan asking whether he liked the ending of the series, he either jokingly or factually? wrote back inferring may not be over..
The dedicated group of Conformity Gators isn’t giving up, and honestly, I’m here for the ride. There’s still a small part of me that’s hopeful that maybe, just maybe, they could end up being right.
That said, after many months of rumors about new projects, spin-offs, or a movie that never materialized, it’s probably time to admit that the Duffer Brothers may have missed the mark on whatever expectations fans had built up in their minds, and perhaps we all need to move on.
