The results of an investigation into the reports of a possible miracle at Thomaston’s St. Thomas Church have been sent to the Vatican.
On March 5, the Rev. Joseph Crowley, pastor of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, which includes St. Thomas, reported that during Holy Communion a lay person distributing hosts had found that the wafers had multiplied in the ciborium.
“God duplicated himself in the ciborium,” Crowley said after Communion. “God provides and it’s strange how God does that. And that happened.”
Now, the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith has been notified and is conducting its own investigation.
David Elliott, spokesman for the archdiocese, issued a statement that “reports such as the alleged miracle in Thomaston require referral to the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith in Rome. The Archdiocese has proceeded accordingly, and will await a response in due time.”

Seven bodies found during search for two missing Oklahoma teens
This is a shocking story..
Authorities have discovered the bodies of seven people during a search for two missing teenagers and they were believed to include the girls and a convicted sex offender.
The bodies were discovered Monday on a rural property near the town of Henryetta. Okmulgee County Sheriff Eddy Rice says the bodies are believed to include those of 14-year-old Ivy Webster and 16-year-old Brittany Brewer and a man they seen traveling with, convicted sex offender Jesse McFadden. However, the sheriff says the state medical examiner will have to confirm their identities. Rice won’t say how they died or provide other details.

David’s Bridal bankruptcy: Are we seeing a cultural shift?
David’s Bridal is reportedly filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection after it eliminated over 9,000 positions across the United States.
The formal-wear company has been one of the largest retailers of wedding gowns in the country.
According to ABC 11, the news comes after David’s Bridal laid off 9,236 positions across the country. The Pennsylvania-based company reportedly employs around 11,000 workers nationwide.
Neil Saunders, managing director of GlobalData Retail, said that the “scale of these layoffs suggest that David’s Bridal is in crisis mode,” adding that the company’s behavior “indicates there is massive restructuring going on behind these scenes with a view to conserve cash as the company prepares for either bankruptcy or a sale.”

Mario is just showing no signs of quitting and is expected to get to the coveted $1B mark. It’s playing to a wide swath of audiences and is the No. 1 release of 2023 in 26 international markets including Australia, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, UK & Ireland and Spain ..
The story here is not just the success of the Mario movie, but also the absolute plummeting of Disney, and all of its attempts at a box office miracle. The Marvel films had one or two good weekends of major money drop significantly, buzz light year was terrible.
Other animated films that Disney released couldn’t muster up box office mojo.
But somehow, a plumber and his brother have overtaken the box office by storm, and became one of the biggest movies in years. And it’s not Disney.
