The National Weather Service said Sunday, urging people living below Oroville Dam to evacuate. The evacuation was ordered because of a “hazardous situation” involving the Northern California dam’s emergency spillway. The National Weather Service said the auxiliary spillway is expected to fail and could send an “uncontrolled release of flood waters from Lake Oroville.”

    Mass hangings in Syria

Horrific news of the real is being revealed today.. Amnesty International is accusing the Assad government of Syria of a brutal mass hanging spree one the past several years of civil war in the nation ..

    MORE..

    The AP is reporting,

The prison north of Damascus was known to detainees as “the slaughterhouse” and in it, as many of 13,000 people were hanged in only four years after a series of sham trials, according to a new report issued by Amnesty International.

The report, issued on Tuesday, said that 20-50 people were hanged each week at the Saydnaya prison in what the organization called a “calculated campaign of extrajudicial execution.”

The report covers the period from 2011 to 2015, but Lynn Maalouf, deputy director for research at Amnesty’s regional office in Beirut, said there is no reason to believe the practice has stopped since then, with thousands more probably killed.

“These executions take place after a sham trial that lasts over a minute or two minutes, but they are authorized by the highest levels of authority,” including the Grand Mufti, a top religious authority in Syria, and the defense minister, she said.

The killings were authorized by senior Syrian officials, including deputies of President Bashar Assad, and carried out by military police. Amnesty has also recorded at least 35 different methods of torture in Syria since the late 1980s, practices that only increased since 2011, Maalouf said.

Art And Airyn Bell Sue Michael Savage For Defamation!!

The suit, filed WEDNESDAY in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of CALIFORNIA, alleges that on SEPTEMBER 25th, SAVAGE defamed the couple with the comment, “You say UFOs, you wind up in the PHILIPPINES with a 10-year-old hooker and you are off the radio after a number of years. You can’t do UFOs. That’s an in-joke, by the way, for people who understand the business.”

The suit notes that “Ms. BELL has never been a prostitute and was 22 years old when the BELLS married. Also, Mr. BELL was not ‘off the radio’ because he discussed UFOs or married Ms. BELL. These facts were publicly known and closely followed by many in the radio broadcasting industry and general public.”

Meanwhile the NEW YORK DAILY NEWS is hitting with a piece calling Bell a tinfoil hat talker and mocking who a witness list would be for such a trial..

Bell, responding to hundreds of comments (and growing) on his Facebook page, writes this:

I have never spoken to Michael Savage, AKA Michael Weiner, I don’t know him. As you read for some reason that I just can’t figure out on his show he simply went after my Wife and myself in the most horrible way any person can go after another. We have never had words between us of any kind. That said, he attacked us with plain Malice and for no reason. I have been so angry that I nearly did something that would land me in jail. Instead I contacted my Lawyer and had him send a demand for retraction which was ignored. Now I have filed a Lawsuit. I want to thank the leaders in Broadcasting that have already come forward to say they will gladly Testify that they know exactly what was said and who he meant. Beyond that I am going to be gone for a while to try and keep my Family away from the publicity and the honest to God hurt this has brought. My Wife is Pregnant and does not need this, nor do I. I am sure most of you can see his statement for what it is. So I will be out of the area for a while and any comments I might make will have to wait till I get back and more to the point calm down, I can not remember being this gut angry in my life. For anybody willing to help my Lawyer is Gerry Fox in Los Angeles and can be contacted at (310) 441-0500.

Championship-bound Brazilian soccer team nearly wiped out as charter plane crashes in Colombia!:

    coalspeaker:

A charter plane carrying 81 people, including players from a rising Brazilian soccer team headed for a championship match, crashed en route to Medellín’s airport in Colombia Monday night, according to authorities. At least five passengers survived and the rest were killed, Colombia’s aviation authority confirmed Tuesday morning. It was uncertain whether that was a final count, however, as the figures had fluctuated during the night.

General José Acevedo, commander of Medellín police, told a Colombian radio station that 75 people had been killed at the site of the crash and six others had been injured and rescued from the scene. One of the rescued passengers died on the way to the hospital, Acevedo said. A local television station, Telemedellín, reported that a sixth survivor was rescued from the crash at about 5 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Ohio State: Suspect struck pedestrians with car, then stabbed victims:

    coalspeaker:

Nine people were injured when a man ran into pedestrians with his car on the Ohio State University campus, then exited the vehicle with a butcher knife and started cutting victims.

Less than a minute after the attack, an OSU police officer shot and killed the suspect. Despite rumors of a second suspect, police and campus officials say there was one person involved in the attack.

The attack happened outside of Watts Hall at W. 19th St. west of College Road. Earlier in the morning, the building had been evacuated because of a report of a gas leak. It’s unclear if that was related to the attack or if that’s why people were outside at the time of the attack.

OSU President Michael Drake, Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther, Columbus police Chief Kim Jacobs, the medical director from Ohio State’s Wexner Medical Center and the OSU police Chief Craig Stone spoke this afternoon outside the OSU hospital. Officials said nine people were taken to area hospitals.

Wexner Medical Center treated five patients: two were stabbed, two were hit by the car and one who hid after the attack and just arrived. The last victim’s injuries were being assessed.

Two victims with lacerations were taken to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center. Two victims who were struck by the car were taken to OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital.

The attack happened at 9:52 a.m. An “active shooter” alert was sent at 9:55 to the campus community urging people to hid in place.

At 11:30 a.m., the university said the scene is secure and that all classes are canceled on campus. The shelter-in-place order was lifted at 11:14 a.m., but more than a dozen buildings remain closed.

Rep. Joyce Beatty, D-Jefferson Township, who had spoken to OSU president Michael Drake, reported that a car drove into a crowd and most of those affected appeared to have stab wounds.

“The university appear to be secure now, the students appear to be safe,” said. “What we don’t know is what was the motive,” she said.

Columbus Police, Ohio State police and deputies with the Franklin County sheriff’s deputies rushed to the scene. Students took to social media to find information, and posted video and pictures to Twitter of the scene.

Police were searching the area, and there was intense police and SWAT activity at a garage at W. Lane Avenue and Tuttle Park Place on campus, just east of St. John Arena. Officers with long guns and two armored vehicles were seen there before the threat was lifted.
