Red alert: why is scarlet fever spreading across Britain? :

There are a tremendous amount of cases this year in the UK..

    Reporting from the GUARDIAN:

Could the spread of scarlet fever be down to us forgetting about this infection and failing to diagnose it quickly enough to stop to spreading? Lamagni thinks this is unlikely, because most parents wouldn’t ignore its distinctive sandpapery, red rash, which usually first appears on the chest and stomach, alongside a fever and a swollen tongue.

The current outbreak remains a mystery, but it has left me convinced of one thing: that my children will catch it just in time for the Easter holidays.

FBI says it has cracked terrorist’s iPhone without Apple’s help:

The Department of Justice says the FBI has accessed the iPhone used by one of the gunmen in the San Bernardino terrorist shooting.

Law enforcement officials were able to break into the phone used by Syed Farook with the help of an unnamed third party. Government officials did not go into detail about what was found on the phone.

Should the FBI be applauded? Or lauded? Or feared…

Take your pick… Read on your iPhone..

Nuclear accident at Three Mile Island – March 28, 1979

Nuclear accident at Three Mile Island – March 28, 1979:

At 4 a.m. on March 28, 1979, the worst accident in the history of the U.S. nuclear power industry begins when a pressure valve in the Unit-2 reactor at Three Mile Island fails to close. Cooling water, contaminated with radiation, drained from the open valve into adjoining buildings, and the core began to dangerously overheat.

And it just so happens I’m looking at the cooling towers in the horizon as I type this now..
A beautiful sight for some. A constant reminder of danger for others.
Money to be made and energy to be created. Hell or high water, nuclear phantoms lurk.

ISIS carries out Good Friday crucifixion of Catholic priest Tom Uzhunnalil in Yemen

ISIS carries out Good Friday crucifixion of Catholic priest Tom Uzhunnalil in Yemen :

This is horrendous news… The world on fire with hate and violence.. The priest kidnapped by ISIS-linked terrorists in Yemen earlier this month was crucified on Good Friday, it has been claimed.

Father Thomas Uzhunnalil, 56, was taken by Islamist gunmen, reportedly linked to ISIS, who attacked an old people’s home in Aden, southern Yemen, killing at least 15 people, on March 4.

The terrorists reportedly carried out the heinous murder on Good Friday, after threatening to do so earlier in the week, according to the Archbishop of Vienna..

Can’t we see the blue skies and sunshine? Can’t we hear the birds sing? Can’t the caring God we pray too help stop hate?
    The miracles are on hold.
It’s desolate on this beautiful planet lately..
Events of real time prove the hard times life during wartime can bring.

  • HAPPY EASTER

    HAPPY EASTER

    HAPPY EASTER 2016

A happy Easter to those who celebrate.. A solstice party for the others.. Thank you for reading, following, and your friendship over the years.
The HORROR REPORT is  17 this MAY.

Hard to believe the time has gone on.. hard to believe the old GEOCITIES page that this website originally was on. Then it got a ‘DASH’ .. minused that out in 2009 live since without it..

No reason for nostalgic melancholy. As I AGE I realize that gets one no where but down in a dump.. the HORROR REPORT will move forward. The past does not exist anymore. Neither does the future. The only thing that’s real — or as real as we can conjure– is the present time. The moment now. The impressive and unbelievable chance that we all have to breath and live.. This world is a beautiful place for dreamers and dancers– so dance the night away and leave the dreams until the day. Because we are in this together.

Bombs and hate are filling the air. I know you can feel it. I can.  That is why together as people we need to persevere and continue doing what we do best: Living and smiling in spite of the darkness

The HORROR REPORT does report on gravely serious things.. life after death.. UFOs.. BATMAN VS SUPERMAN and all the sideshows.. In the final analysis, you can get your information from countless sources online.

But for me, this website is special. It’s a part of who I am.. 17 years? That’s a long time. There have been gaps and pauses, bumps and periodic temper tantrums. The growing period. But the HORROR REPORT can drive now, baby. And it’s driving into the future..
The magic and maniacal Month of April ….
Easter 2016.. If you believe, then he is risen. Either way, the sun is rising. Horus or Jesus have won.

    Amen.

  • Bird lands on Sanders’ podium during Portland rally

Bird lands on Sanders’ podium during Portland rally

Bird lands on Sanders’ podium during Portland rally :

I watched this a few times today.. The bird landing came before his victories in tonight’s caucuses …

    If it’s a sparrow it’s a good sign. If it’s a finch it’s even better..

And when things like this happen–these seemingly strange coincidences surrounding seemingly mundane events–it reminds me of how the bigger picture exists.. How there seems to be a dramatically bigger affair that takes place around us..

How maybe… No coincidences really do exist and a higher order is in power.

Or…. It was just a bird. Just a moment. Just a strange event that will be forgotten by tomorrow.

  • The symbolism of Bernie’s Bird

    The symbolism of Bernie’s Bird

The strange election.. on the GOP side, a sludgefest over the size of Trump’s genitals and how many women CRUZ (ugh) may have slept with..

On the Democratic side? Birds perhaps doves in disguise are now landing on Bernie Sanders..

Since Bernie brought it up, there may indeed by symbolism concerning this bird.. Maybe not a dove in disguise, but something else.

There is something in symbolism and animals called totem animals.. a sparrow, which this looks like, could be a symbol of self worth..

This from a site professing some knowledge about totem animals>:

The sparrow is one of the most common birds around,
yet it has flourished when other species have failed.
    It reflects self-worth.
If a Sparrow totem has entered your life, ask yourself if you know your own self-worth.
The sparrow will show you that even a common little bird can triumph.

The song sparrow reflects the chakra energy awakening from the heart and throat.
It reminds us to sing out our own song of dignity and self-worth.

During the Middle Ages, the Sparrow was the symbol
of peasants and the lower classes.
In Ancient Britain, the Sparrow was the symbol of friendly household spirits.
To the Greeks, it was the pet of Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love.

Perhaps a little songbird felt a sense of security around Bernie Sanders…?

  • NO STOPPING IT NOW: BATMAN VS SUPERMAN BOX OFFICE DOLLARS

NO STOPPING IT NOW: BATMAN VS SUPERMAN BOX OFFICE DOLLARS

The verdicts are coming in.. those of the people I now who saw BATMAN VS SUPERMAN are highly upset.. one person’s reaction was shock when she learned that the film cost almost a billion bucks *($800 mil to be exact)* to create.. a monstrosity of a borefest..

BUT BUT BUT.. stop the presses, here’s the latest bat news: Easter weekend take moneywise for the flick is going to be wide and big. $171 predicted for BATMAN VS SUPERMAN, despite the bad reviews. Despite the bad reactions. Despite Ben Affleck. The $171 mil will be minus Affleck’s children, as well..

The movie’s release is pre-summer. The spring Cherry Blossoms are not even done blooming. The genius of Warner Bros was to release a film like this – comic book, bombs, fights, explosions, Wonder Woman in a skimpy outfit – when kids were home from school. During a three day weekend when teens had nothing to do but go to the movies.. The marketing was also amazing with product placement everywhere, including in the cereal aisle for my five year old to have the choice of BATMAN or SUPERMAN flavor..

And finally, despite the misgivings and criticism, Affleck is scoring some points for his role as Wayne. Maybe not from me. But from enough people.

All that said, the movie is getting 30% at Rotten Tomatoes. The movie is also most likely going to drop next week after this initial trial run in over 4000 theaters as the Easter Bunny hops along..

Oh…..second place this weekend? Take a guess. The mighty ZOOTOPIA…

  • ‘The 100’ Showrunner Apologizes for Character Death

‘The 100’ Showrunner Apologizes for Character Death

‘The 100’ Showrunner Apologizes for Character Death:

The LGBT community went mad when a main character–a gay character at that–on the show was killed off in dramatic fashion.

The part that was perhaps most unbelievable was how

Jason Rothenberg and others billed the show as a must watch on social media, persuading people to halt their plans and tune into the program for a special episode. When they did, they saw

Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey), the lesbian commander of the Grounders and the love interest of main character Clarke (Eliza Taylor), was killed by a stray bullet meant for Clarke..

He broke his silence on a MEDIUM story..

And the fan reaction–even on the Medium article–continue to be harsh..

    The WRAP reports,

Rothenberg retreated into silence on social media in the days and weeks following the episode, while a large sector of the show’s LGBT fanbase channeled their anger and social media power into collecting more than $45,000 — and counting — for the anti-discrimination Trevor Project. Rothenberg also defended his story choices, saying, “The things that divide us as global citizens today don’t matter in this show. And that’s the beauty of science-fiction. We can make a point without preaching. We can say that race, sexuality, gender and disability should not divide us. We can elevate our thinking and take you on a helluva ride at the same time.”

If nothing else, this displays the risks for people using social media to advance something.. especially if that something is going to make a lot of people very very angry..

Socially media at your own social risk…
