News broke recently that Google intends on letting some countries dictate what information can appear in their nation. The newest example of pressure being put on Google, and the search giant buckling, comes from India. According to all reports tonight, the search giant has bowed to pressure from the Indian government.. Google says it is simply complying with a court order from the country that will block “anti-religious” or “anti-social” information.
There was recent controversy over cartoon images online of the Indian Prime Minister in compromising positions with pigs.
