  • The Berkeley Purge

    The Berkeley Purge

If you never saw the movie the Purge, now might be the time to rent or buy. In that film, a horror parody of life, people are given the permission to commit crimes of any sort for one day a year and the government will not prosecute them.

The whole concept may seem somewhat silly … however given the state of our current situation in this country, you could almost envision a future in which the Purge would be a non-parody and now a possible reality.

I watched live coverage last night streaming of the riots at Berkeley University. The students took to the campus to express themselves in a violent way because a gay Republican commentator known for sharp insults on Twitter was asked to speak as a guest of the campus Republicans.

But he never got the chance to speak, instead Molotov cocktails were thrown and fires raged as thousands of people took to the campus to express hatred for Milo.

But it wasn’t just shouting and signage that caused hostility. There exists several videos of females who are hit with metal or iron rods, and one who is pepper sprayed for wearing a Donald Trump hat. Clearly those women were at the assembly not as protesters but is people who wanted to attend the Milo event..

Since the election last year commentators and talking heads have told us that the Donald Trump crowd has been violent and anti-female. But this new shocking twist of events showcases how more supposedly open minded people could equally be intolerant of speech and even violence towards women, as showcase last night and several videos…

In the latest film Purge election year film, candidates running for president have two sharply different view points on the purge .. The religious candidate likes the purge because it enables him to get rid of political opponents. The female candidate running against him was once the victim of the purge as she saw her entire family be killed when she was young. The movie clearly symbolizes many parts of American society. It is not just a horror comedy/slasher film instead it is a commentary on the world and time we live in.

Right now, it seems like the most common theme of the nightly news is a riot somewhere over political believes, an angry fight in Washington DC about political nominations, or families being torn apart by differing political views. If we would’ve had television or the Internet in the days leading up to the American Civil War in the 1800s, we may have seen similar events play out.

And that may be more than anything the most trying aspect that has developed since Donald Trump was elected president… look at yourself in the mirror, do you know what you are and what you want? Are you peaceful in nature, or do you deep down want the perch. And if you want to purge, are you completely understanding of all of the difficulties and hers that come with it?

Because by watching the news lately, I’m starting to believe that a lot more Americans than I ever believed would like the purge certainly would except it now. And that my friends is scarier than any horror movie ever made.

The bodies frozen for 50 years waiting to wake up in the future

The bodies frozen for 50 years waiting to wake up in the future:

This is a must read story .. it’s real, completely real…

Whether the bodies ever reanimate themselves is yet to be seen..

The leap to reanimating one of the frozen humans in the three cryogenic facilities may be some time away, but the state of Bedford’s body when he was examined 24 years after his initial preservation was promising.

Bedford was dying from kidney cancer at the age of 73 in 1966 when he made plans to become the first successfully frozen corpse of cryonics pioneer Bob Nelson.

Nelson, a television repairman and president of the Cryonics Society of California, had been inspired by Siberian salamanders which freeze in permafrost for years and walk off when the ice melts.

Bedford provided $US4200 for a steel capsule and enough liquid nitrogen to keep his body frozen at 200 below.

After his death on January 12, 1967, Nelson packed Bedford’s body on ice in a wooden box and loaded it into his Ford utility for temporary storage at a doctor’s house.

When, after a time, the doctor’s wife threatened to call the police, Bedford’s body was placed by his widow Ruby and son Norman with a company as they fought off legal challenges to his preservation.

Norman later transferred his father to Cryo-Care Equipment Corporation, run by wigmaker and real estate investor Ed Hope, in Arizona, where he was submerged in the cryocapsule tank or dewar.

There are hundreds of people who decided to join in with the frozen fun! So many people who want to recover from what ails them at the moment in time they became frozen in a scientific state of repose..

But the last century has also featured people who were decomposing while frozen, some outraged parents in the late 1970s even found their young daughter in that state after they demanded the company show them the body..

There are some hopeful scientific advances that permit one to think the future is coming where these frozen bodies will walk again, or at least blink a few more times in the modern era.. however it would appear to be still some time away.

If science does allow such possibility to occur, there are at least 100 some odd bodies (and maybe more by then) laying in a frozen chamber just waiting to breathe another breath…
    Unless …the power goes out.
    And the decomposing begins.

Mystery flashing lights speed past International Space Station:

UFO fanatics say we are not alone in the universe and that astronauts are trying to hide it..

You can watch the video for yourself. But here is the situation: Strange lights are seen near the space station.. at the moment a white light quickly zooms down, and then back up again, the astronaut seemingly covers up the area with his hand..

And then he completely pans the camera away.

This is not the first time strange lights have been seen on space during NASA or international space station live footage. . And UFO watchers are constantly streaming and waiting for any small or big light that can signify we are not alone in the universe..

SUPERFLY JIMMY SNUKA DEAD AT 73

In December 2016, wrestling legend Jimmy ‘Super Fly’ Snuka was put into hospice and given 6 months to live. This weekend, he succumbed to his fate..

Just weeks ago, he was ruled unfit to stand trial in the death of his girlfriend from the 1980s.

Snuka was charged with third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter over the death of his girlfriend Nancy Argentino in 1983.

He was declared mentally incompetent at a hearing in June 2016 and was due to attend a hearing to re-evaluate his condition.

Nancy, 23, was taken to hospital gasping for air and oozing yellow liquid from her mouth on May 10, 1983, having spent the night in a hotel room with Snuka.

That is the sad legacy of the wrestling giant– he was famous in his prime.. He couldn’t stand trial to do his time.

And he is gone rot a greater judge and jury beyond the earthly realm today.

A LOT of inside jokes on this picture that virtually no one except about 50 people who graduated from a school in East Central Pennsylvania in 1999 would understand..
    These were the days.

Having a nostalgia filled Sunday morning.
And nostalgia is the thing I crave least.. the emotion I want to dissuade from occurring the most.

And the brain warp that happens way too often as I see hours slip through my fingers like the sands of time.
