Fans continue living in a world without Clyde Lewis

An update was recently shared regarding Clyde Lewis, and while there are some encouraging signs, the overall situation remains uncertain. He is still in a nursing facility with no confirmed timeline for release. On the positive side, he’s making progress in physical therapy—losing weight, rebuilding strength, and gradually improving his stamina.

There are still a number of medical hurdles ahead. He’ll need significant dental work in the coming months, and his kidney function continues to be monitored closely. He is still using a catheter, with doctors and a urologist evaluating when it can safely be removed. Whenever he is cleared to leave, plans are already in place for him to move into a better living situation.

Behind the scenes, things have not been easy. While many fans have been supportive, there has also been some negativity directed toward Clyde and the show. Broadcasting from the nursing facility isn’t possible due to privacy limitations, which is why older but still relevant episodes are currently airing on Ground Zero Plus. Executive producer Ron Patton also shared that he has been dealing with his own health issues while trying to keep the show going and continue adding content where possible. The message overall is simple: patience and understanding are needed right now.
Clyde Lewis is a nationally recognized radio host and a longtime voice in the paranormal world. For decades, he’s been a steady presence for night listeners, especially those drawn to the unexplained and the uneasy edges of current events. His absence during what many would consider tense geopolitical times hasn’t gone unnoticed, and it’s clear a lot of listeners miss the nightly conversations he used to bring.

As time goes on, the idea of a quick return feels less likely and more like something we just hope for in the background.

At the same time, it’s understandable that a nursing facility wouldn’t allow late-night broadcasting—it’s just not the kind of environment that supports that. Still, it raises concern that he remains there after all these months.

For a lot of night owls, routines have already shifted over the past few years. Now, with Clyde off the air, there’s another void—maybe even a few extra hours of sleep where his voice used to be.

That said, the hope remains the same. Here’s to Clyde’s continued recovery and, eventually, hearing him back behind the microphone where he belongs. He’s missed, and that hasn’t changed.
