The Washington POST is reporting this information, it is now being dispatched on other news sources as well..
The Hawaii power utility believed to have started the deadly Lahaina fire removed damaged power poles and other equipment from a key fire scene, potentially affecting evidence that is part of an official investigation into how the blaze ignited.
Hawaiian Electric — which acted quickly to restore power on the island after Aug. 8 — hauled away fallen poles, power lines, transformers, conductors and other equipment from near a Lahaina substation starting around Aug. 12, documents show, before investigators from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) arrived on scene. ATF usually responds to bombings and shootings. This is only the agency’s third wildland fire investigation, a spokesperson said. Usually, it’s the U.S. Forest Service’s role, but since the Maui fires were not on any national forest lands, ATF is the primary federal investigative force.
Those actions may have violated national guidelines on how utilities should handle and preserve evidence after a wildfire and deprives investigators the opportunity to view any poles or downed lines in an undisturbed condition before or after the fire started, according to court documents, letters and other records obtained by The Washington Post.

And maybe soon everyone as Alex Jones predicted?
A Hollywood studio has instituted a mask mandate for its employees in light of the current COVID wave. Lionsgate sent an email to staff asking them to mask up on certain floors of its Santa Monica office after several employees caught the virus. The studio is also asking employees to conduct self-screening before coming to the office.
While this is obviously just one office of one studio, the move comes amid some national buzz about whether mask mandates might be returning as variant EG.5 has become dominant in the United States.

The WGA West escalated its fight against the AMPTP in the ongoing writer’s strike by calling on the government to regulate Disney, Netflix, and Amazon for monopolistic practices!!
Released on Thursday, the report from the WGA West, titled “The New Gatekeepers: How Disney, Amazon, and Netflix Will Take Over Media,” said that studios have been engaging in “anti-competitive practices” by “abusing their dominance to further disadvantage competitors, raise prices for consumers, and push down wages for the creative workforce.”
“Without intervention, these conglomerates will seize control of the media landscape and the streaming era’s advances for creativity and choice will be lost. These new gatekeepers have amassed market power through mergers and other anti-competitive practices, offering an alarming window into the future of media,” the report said.
The escalations reveals the extreme measures both sides are going to publicly. This appears to be producing a drought of upcoming Hollywood entertainment..

The timing sure is strange, while Southern California braces for its first tropical storm, and 80+ years and earthquake struck. How about that…. a magnitude 5.1 earthquake, according to the US Geological Survey.
The epicenter of the quake was in Ojai, between Santa Barbara and Ventura, and it occurred along the Sisar fault, USGS data showed.
There were no immediate reports of damage, the Ventura County Sheriff said in a social media post.
Shaking was felt throughout Los Angeles and surrounding communities, according to a USGS tool that allows residents to self-report their experience. About 50 miles away in Valencia, the quake felt like a slow roll, lasting about 20 seconds. Residents reported a slow-rolling effect in the Hollywood area, as well.
At least two aftershocks — measuring 3.1 and 3.6 — followed the initial quake.

This confirms the tenet what copyright protection rooms are only available for things created by human..
This is all happening very quickly..
A federal judge on Friday upheld a finding from the U.S. Copyright Office that a piece of art created by AI is not open to protection. The ruling was delivered in an order turning down Stephen Thaler’s bid challenging the government’s position refusing to register works made by AI. Copyright law has “never stretched so far” to “protect works generated by new forms of technology operating absent any guiding human hand,” U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell found.
