‘Very contagious’ tomato flu virus detected in kids

“Tomato flu” was first identified in India on May 6 and has so far infected 82 children, who are all under the age of 5, according to a study by the Lancet Respiratory Medicine Journal.

A further 26 kids up to the age of 10 are suspected of having cases of tomato flu.

Aptly named for the red blisters that appear on the skin, the new virus comes armed with fever and joint pain.

“Just as we are dealing with the probable emergence of fourth wave of COVID-19, a new virus known as tomato flu, or tomato fever, has emerged in India in the state of Kerala in children younger than 5 years,” the Lancet reported.

Planet Earth on edge: Russia ‘moves military equipment into Europe’s biggest nuke power plant’

According to analysis from Canadian Forces Intelligence Command, Moscow has pumped military equipment into the site, including close to reactor buildings and other key plots.

It comes after separate video emerged online showing Russian military vehicles, including one marked up with the pro-war “Z” symbol, inside a turbine hall connected to a nuke reactor.

A number of pallets could also be seen close to the trucks, though it is unclear when the footage, verified by CNN, was taken.

But Russia previously insisted the only military equipment at the plant is related to guard duties.

Russia, Ukraine spar over fighting near nuclear facility.. the world is suddenly on edge. Europe gets freaked..

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — A fire at a munitions depot inside Russia forced the evacuation of two villages near the border with Ukraine, an official said Friday, while two civilians were reported wounded by Russian shelling near the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant as both sides traded accusations about fighting near the facility in southern Ukraine.

The fire late Thursday struck the munitions storage building near the village of Timonovo in Russia’s Belgorod region on Ukraine’s northeastern border. About 1,100 people live in Timonovo and Soloti, about 15 miles (25 kilometers) from the border. No one was hurt, said Belgorod regional Gov. Vyacheslav Gladkov.

    ‘Halloween Ends’ Plot Revealed

A RELIABLE SOURCE REPORTS ON WHAT HALLOWEEN ENDS WILL BRING US.. Buckle up for what could be a disastrous film..

    Look away to avoid spoilers..

Keep reading if you want a preview of the plot to end all plots to come:

For those who do not want spoilers, look away immediately. The rest of this article will contain heavy spoilers for the Halloween Ends plot. The plot for the film seems to not follow Laurie Strode (Jaime Lee Curtis) and Allyson. Instead, a new character emerges named Corey. Corey is being bullied by the neighborhood kids when he stumbles across a very weak and injured Michael Myers. Myers is hiding from the citizens who attempted to kill him in Halloween Kills. Corey then takes the masks and becomes the pseudo Michael Myers. He goes after those who have bullied him, and presumably against others who have wronged him in some way. The test screenings for the film have naturally been bad because of this odd direction the final film is taking. We would agree that going off script for the final film in the trilogy is certainly not the way to go.

  • Fears in Europe over the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant

Fears in Europe over the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant

NBC: Why is the world so worried about Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant? Experts warn that an explosion around the plant, which is being shelled, could leak radiation across Europe.

Built by the then-Soviet Union in the 1980s, Zaporizhzhia’s six light-water reactors make it among the 10 most powerful nuclear power stations in the world.

After the invasion began Feb. 24, the Kremlin war machine took a little over a week to capture the plant at Enerhodar, a city that is around a 2-hour drive southwest of the larger Zaporizhzhia.

Russian forces’ seizure of the plant a week after the invasion began caused initial concerns when a fire erupted at the site after shelling.

That offensive marked the first time in history that war had broken out in a country with such a large and advanced nuclear power infrastructure, according to the Vienna-based International Atomic Energy Agency, which reports to the United Nations.

That panic renewed this week after shelling damaged several buildings and a power cable, and put one reactor offline, according to Energoatom, Ukraine’s national energy company.

The plant provides Ukraine with more than 20% of its power.

Moscow is “blackmailing the whole world with the possibility of a nuclear disaster,” according to Hryhoriy Plachkov, former head of the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine.

Russia, which is occupying the plant, has traded accusations of responsibility with Ukraine, which appears to be mounting a renewed offensive in the south of the country.

It is not known how many of the plant’s 11,000 prewar staff continue to work at the site. One former employee told NBC News that it was “very scary for them to work” under Russian control, amid reports that some of them were being held hostage.

Breitbart slammed for ‘doxxing’ FBI agents involved with the Trump raid.. what did Trump mention to Bob Woodward?

Breitbart published a leaked version of the Mar-a-Lago search warrant, including the names of an FBI special agent and supervisor agent, on Friday. The agents both signed their names on receipts for property seized from Trump’s home, including boxes of classified documents that reportedly may have included nuclear secrets. A redacted version of the warrant, which omitted the names of the agents, was officially released hours later.

“Garland called Trump out to make warrant public,” tweeted digital strategist Alan Rosenblatt. “Trump tried to get one over on Garland, releasing warrant to Breitbart, w/out redacting FBI agents names. That’s right, Trump doxxed FBI agents serving a legal search warrant. Once again, Trump is inciting violence.”

    MORE..

“It’s also worth noting that they published the names of the FBI agents, which serves no purpose other than opening them up to threats and harassment,” legal analyst and former federal prosecutor Renato Mariotti tweeted. “Breitbart is also confused about what ‘SSA’ means. It refers to Supervisory Special Agent, a FBI supervisor.”

    MORE..

In a Dec. 5, 2019 interview, Trump told Bob Woodward: “I have built a nuclear—a weapons system that nobody’s ever had in this country before…” Woodward wrote that he confirmed this with sources who were surprised Trump had disclosed it. (Rage, p. 185)

Trump continued: “…We have stuff that you haven’t even seen or heard about. We have stuff that Putin and Xi have never heard about bout before. There’s nobody—what we have is incredible.”

  • Some more news on the Batgirl cancellation

Some more news on the Batgirl cancellation

Variety reports that Warner Bros. Pictures Group chiefs Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy are hoping to mend fences with the film’s star Leslie Grace (“In the Heights”).

As a result, they are reportedly “entertaining the possibility of having her continue to play Batgirl in a future DC film (or, at least, star in another Warner Bros. production).”

The news comes in a new DC article in the trade, which next goes on to say “Joker: Folie à Deux” is the only in the works DC film at Warners to officially have a green light at present. It will also boast a budget of $150 million, well over double that of its predecessor.

Partly it’s the cost of the film’s complicated musical sequences, mostly its pay jumps with Joaquin Phoenix and director Todd Phillips both reportedly landing $20 million paydays each while Lady Gaga is getting $10 million.

Perhaps the worrying part is what a Joker musical movie looks like.

The nagging annoyance of this Batgirl cancellation is that we don’t get to see the cameo from Michael Keaton as Batman..
