    The approaching asteroid is known as 7482 (1994 PC1) and it was discovered in 1994, according to NASA.

    Nobody expects 7482 (1994 PC1) to hit Earth, but it’s the closest the asteroid will come for the next two centuries, according to NASA projections. The flyby is expected to take place on Tuesday January 18 at 4.51 p.m. ET.

    It won’t be the largest asteroid to ever sweep past Earth. That honor belongs to the asteroid 3122 Florence (1981 ET3), which flew by and missed colliding with Earth on September 1, 2017. That asteroid is estimated to be between 2.5 miles and 5.5 miles wide, and it make another pass again on September 2, 2057.

    The great paranormal radio host of Darkness Radio, Dave Schrader, opened up during a blunt Facebook live last night.

    Schrader has gone missing, and has also posted some mysterious words through social media over the past several weeks.

    Darkness Dave said that he, like most other people, are dealing with high anxiety and even depression from the previous two years of our pandemic world.

    During the Facebook live, Schrader mentioned that his longtime friend Tim Dennis and he are not as friendly as they once were. Well they have a professional relationship and Dennis will be taking over the hosting duties on the radio program, Schrader said he is stepping back from it at this point.

    Schrader left open the door for a potential podcasting or radio hosting in the future. It also seems that he is amped up to continue his work in the paranormal world in some way..

    There is one thing that Schrader has bragging rights to. He has been with Darkness Radio for 16 years, but beyond that he is the only radio host to have this under his belt: Art Bell and Schrader are the only two people to be able to say that they hosted both Coast to Coast AM and Midnight in the Desert!

    As for the future, it seems that it’s all just always developing..

    ‘Nevermind’ album cover lawsuit against Nirvana is dismissed

    A judge dismissed a lawsuit against the rock band Nirvana over their iconic 1991 “Nevermind” album cover, which depicts a baby swimming naked in a pool.

    Spencer Elden, who was photographed in a Pasadena, California, swimming pool at the age of 4 months and is now 30, filed the lawsuit in August, alleging child pornography. The photo was digitally imposed to include a dollar bill on a fishhook to make it look like Elden was trying to grab it.

    On Monday, Judge Fernando M. Olguin with the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California dismissed the lawsuit after Elden missed a Dec. 30 deadline to file an opposition to the defendants’ request that the suit be tossed out.

    The judge in British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell’s sex abuse trial said the jury would deliberate for at least one hour longer than usual if needed on Tuesday due to an “astronomical spike” in COVID-19 cases in the New York area.

    “We now face a high and escalating risk that jurors and/or trial participants may need to quarantine,” U.S. District Judge Alison Nathan told prosecutors and defense attorneys outside the presence of the jury, which had begun deliberating again on Tuesday morning

    All eyes on the President: Biden had close contact with Covid-19-positive staff member

    A member of the White House staff who is a close contact of the President tested positive for Covid-19 on Monday, the White House revealed in a statement. 

    The individual, who the White House described as a “mid-level staffer,” tested positive on Monday morning after experiencing Covid symptoms on Sunday. 

    “Three days earlier, on Friday, that staff member had spent approximately 30 minutes in proximity to the President on Air Force One, on the way from Orange, South Carolina to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,” the statement from press secretary Jen Psaki said. “This staff member is fully vaccinated and boosted, and tested negative prior to boarding Air Force One, as is required for everyone traveling with the President. This staff member did not begin to experience symptoms until Sunday, and was tested on Monday.” 
    The President received a negative PCR test on Monday and will take another one on Wednesday, the White House said.

    All vaccines still seem to provide a significant degree of protection against serious illness from Omicron, which is the most crucial goal. But only the Pfizer and Moderna shots, when reinforced by a booster, appear to have initial success at stopping infections, and these vaccines are unavailable in most of the world.

    The other shots — including those from AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson and vaccines manufactured in China and Russia — do little to nothing to stop the spread of Omicron, early research shows. And because most countries have built their inoculation programs around these vaccines, the gap could have a profound impact on the course of the pandemic.
