The Kohberger sentencing: The black heart

Bryan Kohberger has just been sentenced to four life sentences for the horrific 2022 murders of four college students in Idaho.

In court today, families and friends of the victims emotionally confronted the man responsible for so much grief. One moment in particular stood out: Alivea Goncalves, sister of victim Kaylee Goncalves, delivered a statement that was nothing short of extraordinary.

Her words were direct. Unapologetically raw. Unforgettable.

From the very start—when she told Kohberger to “sit up and listen”—to the moment she declared that her sister Kaylee could have “kicked your f—ing ass,” the courtroom was shaken. Her message cut through the silence and struck with force. It was grief and love transformed into power.

If you hadn’t attacked them in the middle of the night while they were asleep, like a PEDOPHILE, Kaylee would have kicked your fucking ass.”

All of the families brought strength and dignity to the courtroom, but Alivea’s voice captured something primal—something real. It was a sister standing tall in the shadow of tragedy and speaking truth to evil.

May God rest the souls of the victims. They were taken far too soon, but their stories—and the love that surrounds them—will never be forgotten.

Meanwhile, something else, people have noticed involves a piece of paper that was sitting next to the now, convicted murderer.

Bryan Kohberger had a black heart drawing next to him during his sentencing hearing.

The eerie symbol was spotted on a piece of paper just in front of Kohberger as he stoically listened to the families of his four victims deliver emotional victim impact statements.

He stared straight ahead, not glancing down at the heart as parents, siblings, grandparents and friends of the slain college students eviscerated him, one after another, in court.

    SharePoint gets unscheduled sharing

When you hear your Microsoft team song sound this morning as your phone rings on a busy Monday, think about where your data is going.

A major hack has occurred… a vulnerability in Microsoft’s SharePoint server software was exploited by hackers to carry out “active attacks” globally on various entities, including businesses and U.S. federal agencies and state governments, prompting the software giant to issue an emergency patch.

In a statement on X, Microsoft said it has released a security update for SharePoint Subscription Edition and SharePoint 2019 users to “mitigate active attacks” targeting servers running the software.

The company noted that the vulnerability only impacts companies using Microsoft’s software to host their own servers, and customers relying on Microsoft’s 365 cloud services have not been affected.

Citing government officials and security researchers, the Washington Post reported that the vulnerability affected U.S. federal and state agencies, universities and various businesses.

In a statement on Sunday night, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) said it was “aware of active exploitation of a new…vulnerability enabling unauthorized access to on-premise SharePoint servers.”

The Epstein Saga: Missing Minutes, Rising Fury, and Supreme Court Appeals

The sordid tale of Jeffrey Epstein continues to unravel, refusing to fade into the shadows of history. With each passing week, new threads emerge, twisting deeper into conspiracy, politics, and the disturbing unanswered questions surrounding the case.

Now, a new revelation from WIRED Magazine is fanning the flames. According to metadata analysis of the “raw” Epstein prison video, a curious 2 minutes and 53 seconds appear to have been removed from one of two stitched-together clips. This cut just so happens to begin right at the so-called “missing minute,” also the moment many believe is key to understanding what really happened in that Manhattan prison cell.

As this bombshell makes its rounds in the conspiracy circles, another courtroom drama is unfolding: Ghislaine Maxwell’s legal team has filed an appeal to the Supreme Court, seeking a review of her conviction.

So far, she remains the only person imprisoned for any of Epstein’s crimes.

Her family now maintain ‘our sister Ghislaine did not receive a fair trial’, claiming prosecutors stopped at nothing to convict her due to the public’s appetite for her to face justice on Epstein’s behalf after his death.

According to the family’s statement, Maxwell is prepared to ‘file a writ of habeas corpus’ which would ‘allow her to challenge her imprisonment’…

Attorney General Pam Bondi has urged the court to deny the appeal, but as always with the legal system, this will likely drag out in slow-motion fashion.

Meanwhile, a growing number of MAGA supporters, long vocal in demanding the release of Epstein’s “client list,” are now turning their anger toward the Trump administration. The once-loyal base appears increasingly frustrated that their calls for transparency have been met with silence or deflection. Donald Trump, now facing backlash from his own supporters, seems to be in full damage control mode..

Then there’s Alan Dershowitz, Epstein’s longtime legal defender, who continues to assert that “there is no client list.” His repeated statements have done little to quell public suspicion.

Rumors of leaked client lists on the dark web continue to circulate, but to date, the only substantiated names remain those found on flight logs, or at least documents that have been floating around the internet for years, largely unaddressed by authorities.

This story is still very much alive.

Stay tuned… because villains may perish, but the truth never dies.. it just hides in the shadows for a bit.

  • An autopsy on the body of Katlyn Harp leads to more questions rather than answers

An autopsy on the body of Katlyn Harp leads to more questions rather than answers

This is from a local news affiliate in PA..

You can read the full story here.

An autopsy was performed on Monday in Allentown, but forensic pathologist Dr. Christopher Sullivan noted there was no evidence of gunshot wounds, penetrating trauma, such as stab wounds, or fractures to any of the extremity bones.

The body was in an “advanced state of decomposition” when it was found on the embankment on Harp Lane Sunday afternoon, said Columbia County Coroner Jeremy Reese. Katlyn Harp had been missing since June 19 and was last known to be at her home on Fairview Drive in Bloomsburg where she lived with her husband.

Given the condition of the body, additional testing, including toxicology tests, will be performed in an effort to determine the cause of death, Reese said. However, because the manner in which Harp’s body was found and discarded in the woods, the manner of death has already been determined to be homicide, according to Reese.

Prosecutors in the Sean Combs sex trafficking and racketeering case informed the judge they will no longer pursue theories that the hip-hop mogul was involved in attempted arson and attempted kidnapping, according to a letter submitted to the court.

Those two alleged acts were included in the government’s racketeering conspiracy charge, which is count one in the indictment against Diddy…

The racketeering conspiracy still alleges Combs was involved in transportation for purposes of prostitution, witness tampering, bribery, and drug-related offenses.

Human adventures: The Murder-for-Hire Plot Against Aaron Goodwin

Sometimes, people are far scarier than anything you’ll find on a ghost hunt…

Victoria Goodwin, the ex-wife of Ghost Adventures star Aaron Goodwin, has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to a chilling murder-for-hire plot aimed at taking his life. The plan, which reads like something out of a true crime documentary, unfolded while Aaron was filming Ghost Adventures in California in October 2024.

According to prosecutors, Victoria conspired with an accomplice, Nicholas Amato, to have Aaron killed while he slept in his hotel room. Text messages obtained by investigators showed just how far they were willing to go. One message from Amato to a hitman read:

“He’s asleep right now in the hotel room… I need to know what’s going on. Can I get an update? Was it done?”

Victoria’s own message to Amato was even more chilling:

“Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce.”

This wasn’t just a crime of passion — it was calculated and deliberate.

On June 5, Victoria was sentenced to 36 to 90 months in prison. Her guilty plea came in April, marking the end of a disturbing chapter in what was once a marriage — and almost became a murder case.

For fans of Ghost Adventures, this story serves as a disturbing reminder that the scariest things sometimes aren’t lurking in abandoned buildings — but right beside us, hiding behind a smile and a hug.
