    Well, network news goes wall-to-wall with coverage of the United States military preparing to shoot down the Chinese spy balloon, CNN gave that a cold shoulder.

    Like for real..

    While other networks showcased live video of military jets circling the balloon, CNN took a different approach and went to a a reporter on the street of New York City, covering “severe weather“..

    The reporter interviewed a street vendor who indicated that it’s very difficult to sell bottled water when it freezes

    Breaking news indeed..

    SO there is a lot of fakery happening as of late, no? While the EU and social media is busy banning RT and Sputkik, other images of TIME magazine are being widely shared featuring Vladimir Putin as Hitler. 

    The image has even  made its way into protest photos in various places on God’s green Earth.

    The problem is they are ALL FAKE..

    TIME did not portray him as Hitler.. or Stalin. And there was no Swastika either .. all are fake.

    TIME did in fact label its cover “The Return of History”.. but it was not with Putin’s image.. 

    Instead it was this:

    Facebook is restricting access to content from RT and Sputnik on both its main social media platform and Instagram following “requests from a number of governments,” according to he company’s vice president Nick Clegg.

    Users who attempt to visit the YouTube channels of either Sputnik or RT or watch videos posted from those channels are now met with a message saying “this channel is not available in your country,” and “this video is not available in your country,” This even applies to non-EU countries, including the UK.

    The Drudge Report headline running today involves a pun about the Omicron variant, coupled with a link to a story where health officials warn of millions of cases per day in the United States within weeks.

    The site is using an image of a grayed out skull for the headline, clearly and pick up the fear factor over this variant..

    We are the Horror Report here, so on that note I suppose it’s only fair to apply to Drudge Report on this one?

    Over the past few days the “pathway to heaven photo“ has been making its rounds. It was taken by people after the scene of a car accident, there’s some hot debate whether it’s a soul going to heaven or just a glare from the windshield.

    But just as a symbol of how the news media works, those with some memory may recall this photo was published before.

    Despite the fact the news reports or not indicating what year it took place, they were simply saying it was taken April 25, it has been published as though just happened this year

    It did not.

    Here are some screenshots showing the date line October 2021 for the new a story but other screenshots showcasing that this photo was published many years ago.

    It’s how the news biz works. Sometimes fake. Sometimes repetition. But most of the time misleading.

    New York City‘s Central Park was canceled because of dangerous weather as Hurricane Henri approached the Northeast on Saturday.

    The venue was billed as a vaccinated party in the USA celebrating the defeat of COVID.. Planned in advance, the timing seemed to be curious now that astronomical case counts are being realized again.

    Also with Delta rampant, some questioned if it should even happy to begin with.

    Planners fought through the controversy, but had another issue: Hurricane Henri..

    SEEK SHELTER

    Barry Manilow began performing “Can’t Smile Without You,” as part of a medley of his hits when the announcement interrupted his performance, ordering concertgoers to immediately leave the park and seek shelter. The singer continued on, not realizing at first what was happening.

    Organizers repeated over a public address for concertgoers to “calmly move to the nearest exits and proceed to areas outside of the park.”

    CNN was among those who heavily hyped this event.

    The event, which was aired exclusively on CNN, was produced by music executive Clive Davis in coordination with the city of New York and Live Nation. The coverage began with a preshow hosted by Anderson Cooper at 4 p.m. ET, with the concert kicking off at 5 p.m.

    And the show came to a screeching halt due to a hurricane..

    The front page of CNN reports that it isn’t going to give Biden credit anymore for just not being Trump..

    The front page of state media seemingly has turned on the Commander in Chief

    Stephen Collison for CNN writes:

    Biden is failing to adequately explain why he so badly failed to predict the swift collapse of the Afghan state. And his credibility has been sullied because his confident downplaying of the risks of the withdrawal has been repeatedly confounded by events. Seven months into his term, Biden no longer gets credit simply for not being Donald Trump.

    The atmospherics around a White House that was on a roll have shifted in a matter of days.
