The ghost man on the fishing trip..

    This image has gone viral..

    Dateline Tifton GA..

    A FOX affiliate reports,

Jessica Ogletree posted a picture taken by her 13-year-old daughter to Facebook that had a little something extra looming in the background. No we’re not talking about her brother in the green shirt. Look a little closer at the shadowy figure (Did your eyes widen, because ours sure did!).

“Notice my son Kolton in the background and then notice the gentleman standing to his right!!!” Jessica posted on Facebook.

There’s just one problem with the man in the background. According to Jessica, he doesn’t exist! (Gasp!)

“Ya’ll this gentleman was NOT with them today and there was no one else at these back ponds where they were fishing. The only people there today were Haley, Kolton and their grandparents…”

According to her mother, Haley was going back through pictures she had taken during the day and noticed the (dare we say it), “ghost man.” Like any good teenager, she freaked out and called her mom. Mom wasn’t so much freaked out as she was excited.

“I personally think it’s pretty cool because today is Kolton’s birthday and he caught the biggest fish he’s ever caught! It looks like the man is happy for him!”

The image has been shared thousands of times on the original Facebook post and even more on other social networking platforms..

  • Witches brew: Are you casting a spell on Trump at Midnight?

Witches brew: Are you casting a spell on Trump at Midnight?

The popular website ELLE is the first on this feed:

Starting at midnight on Friday, witches around the country are calling for a mass spell to be cast on Donald Trump every night of a waning crescent moon until he’s driven from office.

The spell was publicized by Michael M. Hughes, who told ELLE.com that it was tweaked from multiple spells he saw going around private witchcraft groups. He published it on Extra News Feed because he felt “it would be very welcome to a lot of people.” It quickly spread, with events being formed around the country and support on social media.
Matt Drudge also linked the ELLE article and caused a worldwide flurry of activity from witches and others who want to take part in the paranormal play..
According to further reporting from Jaya Saxena:
The ritual itself is pretty standard magic working, binding Trump from doing harm to others and to himself, rather than asking any forces to do harm to him. There are objects to represent the elements and to represent Trump himself. The tarot card of the Tower represents ambitions built on lies, which are struck down by a lightning flash of truth. For those who believe in witchcraft, it looks to be an effective spell.
Various media organizations have given the story press, including the Huffington POST, USA TODAY, and the Associated Press.
The #Resistance has gone to the dark side..
There is now also a Facebook page dedicated to people’s photos and detailed info on what happened during the binding..

A Spell to Bind Donald Trump and All Those Who Abet Him (version 2.0)

To be performed at midnight on every waning crescent moon until he is removed from office. The first ritual takes place Friday evening, February 24th, at the stroke of midnight. This binding spell is open source, and may be modified to fit your preferred spiritual practice or magical system — the critical elements are the simultaneity of the working (midnight, EST—DC, Mar-a-Lago, and Trump Tower NYC time) and the mass energy of participants.

See below for the upcoming dates. Some lodges/covens are doing a variation of this as a group working, while a number of solitary practitioners are planning to connect and livestream via Facebook, Twitter, and other social media.

    Components:

    • Unflattering photo of Trump (small); see below for one you can print
    • Tower tarot card (from any deck)
    • Tiny stub of an orange candle (cheap via Amazon)
    • Pin or small nail (to inscribe candle)
    • White candle (any size), representing the element of Fire
    • Small bowl of water, representing elemental Water
    • Small bowl of salt, representing elemental Earth
    • Feather (any), representing the element of Air
    • Matches or lighter
    • Ashtray or dish of sand

    Optional:

    • Piece of pyrite (fool’s gold)
    • Sulfur
    • Black thread (for traditional binding variant)
    • Baby carrot (as substitute for orange candle stub)

    Preparation:

    • Write “Donald J. Trump” on the orange candle stub with a pin or nail
    • Arrange other items in a pleasing circle in front of you
    • Lean the Tower card against something so that it’s standing up (vertically)
    • Say a prayer for protection and invoke blessing from your preferred spirit or deity. Reading the 23rd Psalm aloud is common in Hoodoo/Conjure/Rootwork traditions. Experienced magicians may perform an appropriate banishing ritual.

    RITUAL

    (v. 2.1)

    (Light white candle)

    Hear me, oh spirits
Of Water, Earth, Fire, and Air
    Heavenly hosts
    Demons of the infernal realms
    And spirits of the ancestors

    (Light inscribed orange candle stub)

    I call upon you
    To bind
    Donald J. Trump
So that he may fail utterly
That he may do no harm
    To any human soul
    Nor any tree
    Animal
    Rock
    Stream
    or Sea

Bind him so that he shall not break our polity
    Usurp our liberty
Or fill our minds with hate, confusion, fear, or despair
    And bind, too,
All those who enable his wickedness
And those whose mouths speak his poisonous lies

I beseech thee, spirits, bind all of them
    As with chains of iron
    Bind their malicious tongues
Strike down their towers of vanity

    (Invert Tower tarot card)

I beseech thee in my name
    (Say your full name)
In the name of all who walk
    Crawl, swim, or fly
Of all the trees, the forests,
    Streams, deserts,
    Rivers and seas
    In the name of Justice
    And Liberty
    And Love
    And Equality
    And Peace

    Bind them in chains
    Bind their tongues
    Bind their works
    Bind their wickedness

(Light the small photo of Trump from the flame of the orange candle stub and hold carefully above the ashtray)

(Speak the following loudly and with increasing passion as the photo burns to ashes)

    So mote it be!
    So mote it be!
    So mote it be!

(Blow out orange candle, visualizing Trump blowing apart into dust or ash*)

(Pinch or snuff out the white candle, ending the ritual)

    Grounding and Disposal

Afterward, ground yourself by having a good, hearty laugh, jumping up and down, clapping your hands, stomping your feet, and having a bite to eat. Grounding is very important—don’t neglect it. And remember—he hates people laughing at him.

Finally, bury the orange candle stub or discard it at a crossroads or in running water.

    VARIANTS

Alternate Closing: After you’ve visualized Trump’s energy dissipating, gaze at the white candle flame for a few moments, close your eyes, and imagine a bright light emerging from the darkness and gradually being revealed as the flaming torch of the Statue of Liberty. The light from the torch then brightens intensely, expanding into infinity and burning away all darkness. After a few moments, open your eyes, ground yourself, and pinch or snuff out the white candle, closing the ritual. You can also leave it burning until it is fully extinguished.

Traditional Binding Variant: This variant was contributed by a rootworker, and incorporates a more traditional form of binding magic. In place of burning the photo, the magician ties the photo to the orange candle with black thread. As you are wrapping the thread around the photo and candle, say “I bind you” three times. You may also tie knots in the thread. Then the whole package is buried or, as the contributor suggested, “Leave it outside a Trump hotel.”

The Use-His-Pet-Phrase-Against-Him Variant: In place of “So mote it be,” instead say, “You’re fired!” with increasing vehemence. This should be particularly beautiful as the flames consume his image.

Baby Carrot Substitution: For those who can’t acquire an orange candle stub, Frater SHUF suggests using a baby carrot (and lighting the photo from the white candle).

    Waning Crescent Moon Ritual Dates:

February 24th (Midnight, Friday evening); March 26th; April 24th; May 23rd; June 21st (especially important as it is the summer solstice); July 21st; August 19th; etc.

Someone posted a few comments and links on my page today .. This one linking to a video caused me some pause..

    It’s about 8 minutes long and well-worth the watch…

It’s a creepy synchronicity.. It’s strange .. it’s yet another odd mystery surrounding the Elisa Lam death in 2013 at the Cecil Hotel..

Darkness Dave and iHeartRadio end their relationship!

One of the best paranormal radio talkshow hosts has ended his show abruptly and iHeartRadio has ended the relationship with him and his cohost.

Dave Schrader announced late today that the show Darkness Radio has ceased to exist. A new podcast will be available five nights a week, on podcast1.com. The show will be free and archives will exist for 90 days. After the 90 day period, payment will have to be rendered to get all programs.

Schrader said during his Facebook live broadcast late today, “download them all” so you won’t have to pay later.

This also will mean that since Schrader will no longer be an employee of iHeartRadio, his frequent appearances as the guest host of Coast to Coast a.m. will undoubtedly also end.

A fan favorite from his program called true crime Tuesday will not be going with him to the new show. It’s likely that I heart iHeartRadio has maintained ownership over that specific content..

The new program will be called Beyond the Darkness.

New documentary film asks: Was Malachi Martin an exorcist or an exhibitionist? :

Martin was a showman.. any Art Bell fan with a memory will recall those sleepless nights in the late 1990s, listening to Father Martin deliver his damnation of the world… about the ‘perfectly possessed.’…

    This new documentary explores:

Hostage to the Devil (http://ift.tt/2gsxxDQ) is a 90-minute documentary film by Marty Stalker. It has been produced with the co-operation of the Irish Film Board. This is fitting given that the story it tells starts in the far south of that country. Malachi Martin was born in County Kerry in 1921. Having graduated in philosophy from the University of Dublin, he joined the Society of Jesus and was ordained a priest in 1954. His further studies took him to Louvain in Belgium, to the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and to Oxford University.

Thereafter, he was sent to Rome as Professor at the Pontifical Biblical Institute where he taught Aramaic, Hebrew and Sacred Scripture. His future career looked bright, especially when he was made Private Secretary to Cardinal Bea. It proved not to be so. The Second Vatican Council was called in 1962. Some would maintain that alongside the good intentions of those who convened it, other forces gathered too, intent on distorting the reception of the outcome of the Council.

I will look forward to seeing this film..

I have my personal thoughts about Fr. Martin and whether he really was believable..

The scary thing for me, though, always was this: It is safer to believe everything he said than doubt even one fraction of it.

    Just in case.

It was just a normal day for Melissa Kurtz, 48, who was driving…

It was just a normal day for Melissa Kurtz, 48, who was driving on a highway in the Maitland area of Florida, near Orlando, to take her 13-year-old daughter, Harper, to a beauty pageant. Harper wasn’t wearing a seat belt, which was normal for her, and taking selfies to pass the time.

And then when she saw the picture days later she realized she saw someone behind her … she was alone in the car at the time the selfie was snapped.

Kurtz decided to do some research on the road they were driving on that day and discovered that there had been an accident on that same road and the day her and Harper were driving on it happened to be the anniversary of the death that occurred because of it

The UK DAILY MAIL interviewed her.. Kurtz said that she thinks the (potential) ghost in the photo was a warning to wear seat belts..

    For your consumption.. and decision.

  • Hunting for answers: David Paulides back with new stories of missing and vanished people, this time focusing on hunters in the woods

Hunting for answers: David Paulides back with new stories of missing and vanished people, this time focusing on hunters in the woods

As expected, David Paulides dropped new stories during his appearance last night on Coast to Coast AM.. Stories of hunters. Weird tales of people who know the forest, people who utilize various forms of instrumentation to find directions, people who carry weapons, all vanishing without a trace. In some instances, traces are found. In one specific story, one man was found after being dead for two weeks. But he wasn’t dead the whole time.. the coroner’s report in that instance said he was dead for only four days. The weird anomaly: His feet were literally worn down to the bone—literally the bottoms of his feet were worn away.

These are the types of stories that David Paulides tells George Knapp, the occasional host of the macabre airwaves under the cover of moonlight..

There was a new bombshell dropped last night during the program. Paulides described a bow hunter in the forest with her Blackberry—before the bankruptcy of the company, obviously. She noticed how the forest seemed to stop dead—no noise, no sound. Just silence. It felt strange. She went on to describe what really makes little sense: Just like in the movie PREDATOR, fuzzy saran-wrap-like figures jumping from one tree to the next.. She even snapped a photo of what appeared to be a mostly fuzzy landscape with a hairlike structure near the edge of the picture. The amazing story aside, the bow hunter’s husband is Dr. Bruce Maccabee—a very well known UFO expert..

It’s all so weird, so bizarre.

Paulides went on last night to also remind listeners of some prior cases where people came back from being missing. Those people describe having fuzzy memories, people looking at them from behind shrubs in the woods, or not even recall being last.  Almost like walking into another reality, as George Knapp pointed out during the show.

I have been an avid reader of Paulides books. I also spoke to George Knapp about this very topic a bit ago… It fascinates me and scares me alike. I live near the woods in Pennsylvania. And I also had me own experience that I wrote about in May 2014.

During that time, I had a similar experience where the ‘forest went silent.’  Though my moment of silence was even weirder because, at midnight when it occurred, one lone songbird actually began to sing in the middle of the night.  I saw a meteor or something streak across the sky, and then immediately began hearing what sounded, for lack of any better explanation, a chain-like noise. Almost like something being drug across the forest floor. But I did not hear footsteps. My dog Mutley heard it too and got into an attack formation, coupled with the hair on his spine rising as high as I ever saw it..  The noise continued to get louder and louder until it seemed like it was literally on top of me. I grew very cold and afraid. Despite turning on a spotlight on the side of the house, I saw nothing at all.. The noise dissipated after a few minutes. It felt like I was in the middle of a recording, or endless loop of some other reality..

The most troubling aspect of my personal tale is this: I had this foreboding sense about the whole thing. While I wanted to go about 15 more feet and step into the forest, I had some weird notion that whatever it was making this noise WANTED me to walk into the woods.. almost like it was tempting me to enter its territory and terrain, as though there was some weird boundary that it could not cross…

Equally strange was a conversation I had with a deer hunter a few months ago.  Given my interest I the unusual, I asked him if he ever had a ‘dead forest’ moment when he hunted. He said he did.. but it did not last long. He was deer hunting at a camp with several other hunters. While outside for a cigarette, he said the woods literally went dead and lifeless for about ten or so seconds. And then the noises of the forest came back again.

All so weird.. so strange. So peculiar.

The complex mystery continues. There seems to be no sound answer to the lost and unfound.

David Paulides offered no reasonable explanation, as he purposely does not. George Knapp described it all as best he could: Like a harvest.

The harvest idea may be the most frightening of all to contemplate.

  • If a tree talks in the forest and no one hears it, does it make a sound?

If a tree talks in the forest and no one hears it, does it make a sound?

This is an amazing study.. Trees were studied in two nations for a first of its kind analysis.. Proving, perhaps, that trees do sleep?

    The full story is here..

Read it. It’s truly amazing to consider that trees actually become at rest during the darkness of night.. Sleeping Giants in the woods around us.

When I was younger, my father used to tell me that trees could hear and see.. That trees could listen and understand. And that they were smart…
These days with CIA spying it’s more likely that trees literally watch you.

But while I laughed when I was younger at my dad’s tall tales, I realized he wasn’t kidding in what he said and quite possibly was correct in some creepy and deeply paranormal way..

Have you ever been in the woods, alone, but felt like every tree was either greeting you with open branches or dismissing you with fluttering leaves? Have you even felt like a tree, in all its might, may just be able to see and discern your intentions?
And maybe trees have to sleep too..

It’s not easy standing that tall for hundreds of years. Even trees have to take a break sometime.

  • THE PHANTOM GIRL IN THE PICTURE

THE PHANTOM GIRL IN THE PICTURE

If you checked my Facebook feed earlier today, you may have seen a story I linked being reported by Russia Today.. It is bizarre to say the least..

Old photos have always caused me to pause and stare.. I so often wonder what the often expressionless faces in the photo-documentation of time were thinking.. But the story of the Siberian phantom girl sort of takes the cake in the creepy department..

As published in RT, some interesting story highlights:

Museum workers in Krasnoyarsk were astonished when they digitalized local photos from the early 1900s only to find an identical figure in all of them – a solemn girl, dressed in all white, striking an identical pose.

So far, the mystery girl has been found in at least 20 photos and four glass negatives, which researchers at the Krasnoyarsk Regional Museum of Local Lore believe were taken between 1906 and 1908, judging from the state of the buildings in the photos.

And if those two paragraphs don’t systematically creep out your system and give you chills, I don’t really know what will ..

One striking image shows the girl posing on a rooftop in front of famous Krasnoyarsk Railway Bridge, opened in 1899, which carries the Trans Siberian railway over the Yenisei River © Krasnoyarsk Regional Museum / The Siberian Times
© Krasnoyarsk Regional Museum / The Siberian Times© Krasnoyarsk Regional Museum / The Siberian Times© Krasnoyarsk Regional Museum / The Siberian Times

    THE LOGICAL IDEA.

As the story goes, she plays no obvious role in most of the shots she is in.. almost a background bystander, someone who is just there at the right place and the right time.. The museum studying and asking questions thinks the girl is related to the photographer in some way. That makes some logical sense.. the picture taker bringing his kin with him to go do photoshoots in old century Russia.

    RT again:

The most logical start would be identifying the name of the photographer. However, most photos have no identifying text, while a few are marked with the initials F.E.A. Photography was only practiced by a select few at the time, but that signature does not match up with any of the city’s well-known professionals or hobbyists.

No one has come forward to explain anything about this girl.. no one has claimed credit or family history of knowledge of who she is..

    From the SIBERIAN TIMES:

Some came to the museum from a collection of Nikolai Grigorovskiy, owner of a Krasnoyarsk bookshop before the Communist revolution.

A glass negative featuring the girl also came from renowned photographer Ludwig Yulyevich Wonago. Might he be the mystery photograher? Yet then why the initials F. E. A.? The feeling is that the photographer for whom the girl posed is an amateur – at a time when this was a hobby of the well-to-do – rather than a professional, but who was the hidden star?

‘We think that the girl could be the photographer’s daughter, or his neice, but we do not know for sure, as we do not even know the photographer’s name,’ said Ilya Kuklinsky.

    THE MYSTERY

This is a mystery–and it is amplified by the creepy factor..

There seems to be a common thread in her garb: There is wealth. She is from wealth.. there are riches when she stands next to others who are dressed in garb of dire circumstances.. She obviously was ‘seeing the world’ in a sense just by the fact she ended up in so many places. One theory is that she may have been from a rich local family, which could have escaped eastward from the advancing Communist tyranny, and that the answer to the intriguing secret of her identity may lie abroad in Europe or America.

Being the internet and such, some are actually claiming the images are ‘photoshopped.’ Photoshop, being a useful product of recent times, was tougher way back before the 1917 revolution. Nonetheless, I suppose things like this are possible during the reign of Nicholas.
And there are paranormal theories, too.. she is a ghost.. she is a haunting figure because, well, she’s not real! Maybe a time traveler!?  Maybe not.

THE TRUTH MAY BE SIMPLE AND SAD.

Maybe the truth is even sadder and more hopeless than any theory.. maybe the truth is this: She, and her family and whoever took these photos, were destroyed in time by the revolution that killed so many about ten years after the pictures were taken..? Maybe that’s it. Period and done.

And the only thing left are stark reminders of innocence prior to bloodbaths.

    But those eyes..
There is something seemingly haunting in those eyes. Like a ‘knowing’ of the misery to come..
