Happy Halloween will come early this year.. STRANGER THINGS 2 gets a new earlier release date.. Netflix has confirmed a new release date for the second season of the hit show, NME reports. “Stranger Things” Season 2 airs October 27, 2017. In a press release, Netflix has also provided a new description for the next season: “It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the demagorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.” Check out a new poster and teaser for the second season below.
