She wrote, “On Thursday morning, I was sitting at breakfast with my husband when I started having stroke-like symptoms and was taken to the hospital.”

A new study of “excess deaths” estimates the pandemic’s true toll has already surpassed 1 million in the U.S.
Some 1.13 million Americans have died due to the pandemic, the researchers estimate. By comparison, the current total of reported COVID-19 deaths in the U.S. stands at around 960,000.
The new figures, published Thursday in The Lancet, are based on the number of “excess deaths” in countries around the world.
Researchers determined how many additional deaths occurred from January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2021 by modeling the number of “expected” deaths in years unaffected by a global pandemic, compared to the total number who actually died from any cause.
Meanwhile in the COVID is not over category:

This week, the administration began working with Gen Z For Change, a nonprofit advocacy group, to help identify top content creators on the platform to orchestrate a briefing aimed at answering questions about the conflict and the United States’ role in it. Victoria Hammett, deputy executive director of Gen Z For Change, contacted dozens with invitations via email and gathered potential questions for the Biden administration.
The invitations to the event were distributed Tuesday and Wednesday. Kahlil Greene, 21, a creator with more than 534,000 followers on TikTok, said he wasn’t surprised when an invitation arrived in his email inbox. “People in my generation get all our information from TikTok,” he said. “It’s the first place we’re searching up new topics and learning about things.” So, he figured, it made sense that the Biden administration would engage people like him on the platform.
The briefing was led by Matt Miller, a special adviser for communications at the White House National Security Council, and Psaki. The Washington Post obtained a recording of the call, and in it, Biden officials stressed the power these creators had in communicating with their followers. “We recognize this is a critically important avenue in the way the American public is finding out about the latest,” said the White House director of digital strategy, Rob Flaherty, “so we wanted to make sure you had the latest information from an authoritative source.”
Dr Tamitha Skov, a space weather physicist tweeted yesterday: “Direct Hit! NOAA & NASA prediction models show solar storm to hit Earth between 12:00 and 21:00 UTC on March 13.
“Impact should be strong! Expect aurora deep into mid-latitudes, amateur radio & GPS reception issues, especially near dawn/dusk, and on Earth’s nightside!”
A fire has broken out at a major Ukrainian nuclear power plant under attack from Russian forces near Kyiv, according to Ukrainian officials.
“Russian army is firing from all sides upon Zaporizhzhia NPP, the largest nuclear power plant in Europe,” Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba wrote on Twitter early Friday morning local time. “Fire has already broke out. If it blows up, it will be 10 times larger than Chornobyl! Russians must IMMEDIATELY cease the fire, allow firefighters, establish a security zone!”
SO there is a lot of fakery happening as of late, no? While the EU and social media is busy banning RT and Sputkik, other images of TIME magazine are being widely shared featuring Vladimir Putin as Hitler.
The image has even made its way into protest photos in various places on God’s green Earth.
The problem is they are ALL FAKE..
TIME did not portray him as Hitler.. or Stalin. And there was no Swastika either .. all are fake.
TIME did in fact label its cover “The Return of History”.. but it was not with Putin’s image..
”In light of the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, WarnerMedia is pausing the release of its feature film ‘The Batman’ in Russia,“ a spokesperson said
Movie companies are working diligently to stop films from being seen by Russian citizens.
No word on whether Vlad the impaler already had tickets for the opening night.
“In light of the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, WarnerMedia is pausing the release of its feature film ‘The Batman’ in Russia,” a spokesperson for Warner Bros. said in a statement Monday evening. “We will continue to monitor the situation as it evolves. We hope for a swift and peaceful resolution to this tragedy.”
Warner’s statement came roughly an hour after Disney announced that it would be pulling all theatrical releases from Russia until further notice, including the Pixar movie “Turning Red,” which is set to be released globally on Disney+ on March 11. “Turning Red” had been scheduled for theatrical release in Russia as Disney+ does not operate in the country.
The film will still be released in China.
We guess unless it makes the effort to invade Taiwan prior to the release date?
In addition, Sony pulled the Jared Leto thriller “Morbius,” while Paramount nixed plans to distribute the Sandra Bullock/Channing Tatum adventure comedy “The Lost City” and the family film sequel “Sonic the Hedgehog 2” in Russia this spring.
Netflix also made a statement Monday saying it would decline to carry state-run Russian TV channels on its streaming service despite a local law that would require any company with more than 100,000 subscribers to do so.
Facebook is restricting access to content from RT and Sputnik on both its main social media platform and Instagram following “requests from a number of governments,” according to he company’s vice president Nick Clegg.
Users who attempt to visit the YouTube channels of either Sputnik or RT or watch videos posted from those channels are now met with a message saying “this channel is not available in your country,” and “this video is not available in your country,” This even applies to non-EU countries, including the UK.
