    Senator Little Marco Rubio is spearheading the idea— though it cannot be solely attributed to him if it passes because so many others have long wanted to banish it from our existence ..

    What modern point exists from it?

    Please make it stop!

    In the autumn it makes us depressed and sad because of the overwhelming darkness. In the spring it brings us some joy but still makes our bodies confused and tired.

    The bill has bipartisan backing including several Republican and Democratic cosponsors.

    “You’ll see it’s an eclectic collection of members of the United States Senate in favor of what we’ve just done here in the Senate, and that’s to pass a bill to make Daylight Savings Time permanent,” said Rubio in remarks on the Senate floor. “Just this past weekend, we all went through that biannual ritual of changing the clock back and forth and the disruption that comes with it. And one has to ask themselves after a while why do we keep doing it?”

    “If we can get this passed, we don’t have to keep doing this stupidity anymore,” added Rubio.

    Eric Feigl-Ding has written extensively about COVID-19 over the past two years on Twitter. He was one of the very few vocal people back in January 2020 warning about potential global effects of the virus long before others.

    Some have called him an alarmist, others have attempted to discredit his background and education.

    As with Covid everything has gone from controversial to outright divisive ..

    Feigl-Ding is back with new worries over China initiating brand new lockdowns in major cities across the nation. China has employed a ‘Zero Covid’ strategy and appears hellbent on continuing that regardless of the consequences..

    He believes that Covid is putting china at a tipping point and it has ramifications for the planet.. all over again. Feigl-Ding wrote this just today about his newfound fears:

    Outbreak is still early in China, but the surge is near vertical so far —and that bodes very poorly. The fact that it’s simultaneously happening in with lockdowns in multiple cities at once shows urgency that we haven’t seen before. Furthermore, China isn’t alone in this mess. South Korea is also see an epic surge— now surpassing all time pandemic highs. And as expected, South Korea also has surging BA2 levels, now 31% of all variants detected in the country and rising fast. If SK also follows HK’s fate, then that may also be horrible for global crisis.

    Meanwhile, Western European leaders have naively believed that they are immune from #BA2 after their recent #Omicron wave. They are wrong— there is some sobering news for those leaders who claim ‘COVID is over’—they are delusional as cases are soaring across Europe again, this time dominated mostly by BA2 plus with added relaxation of mitigations. Let’s always learn from what’s happening elsewhere, because #CovidIsNotOver.

    WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall has passed away at the age of 63.

    WWE confirmed the news with a graphic that began Monday night’s episode of RAW.

    Scott Hall suffered three heart attacks on Saturday night.

    He had been hospitalized at the Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA after a serious complication during hip replacement surgery last week, in which a blood clot got loose.

    A Florida judge on Monday blocked the release of certain records related to the death investigation of actor and comedian Bob Saget.

    According to court minutes obtained by CNN affiliate WKMG, Ninth Judicial Circuit Judge Vincent Chiu granted the Saget family’s petition for the permanent injuction.

[…] I keep reading that the omicron variant is a milder variant but that’s only true to a limited extent.”

    The summer concert season is here again, this time the media tells us without Covid ( except the Covid still exists).. and with prices of tickets, the autumn bankruptcy season will also begin in earnest.
