Heartland horror: The morning after in Waukesha

While there are persistent rumors that a suspect exists, there are still no official police press releases indicating that.

Social media is abuzz with rumors about Darrell Brooks… we will hold back any further information on this name until there’s more of an official word from authorities..

Meanwhile, The associated press is summarizing the traumatic events of the previous 24 hours of the Waukesha Christmas parade horror…

Waukesha Police Chief Dan Thompson said “some” people had been killed but would not give an exact number. A person was in custody, as was the SUV, he said, but he did not give any indication of motive.
One video shows a woman screaming, “Oh my God!” repeatedly after a group of girls wearing Santa hats and dancing with white pompoms is struck. Another shows the SUV plowing into members of a marching band, their music replaced with terrified screams.
Fire Chief Steven Howard said 11 adults and 12 children were injured and transported to hospitals by his department. It was unknown how many people were taken to hospitals by others. Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin said it received 15 patients from the parade and no reported fatalities as of 8 p.m.
A Catholic priest, multiple parishioners and Waukesha Catholic schoolchildren were among those injured, the Archdiocese of Milwaukee spokeswoman Sandra Peterson said.
Police had custody of the vehicle, Thompson said. The investigation was ongoing, with assistance from the Wisconsin Department of Justice.

Many of the rumors about the potential suspect surfaced when social media began reporting on his social media feeds, his address, and a photograph of a damaged red SUV matching the same auto that was involved at the Christmas parade…

The town of Waukesha may sound familiar to some for another horrific crime several years ago..

On May 31, 2014, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, United States, two 12-year-old girls, Anissa Weier and Morgan Geyser, lured their friend Payton Leutner into a forest and stabbed her 19 times in an attempt to become proxies of the fictional character Slender Man..

  • GHOSTBUSTER BOOM!

    GHOSTBUSTER BOOM!

Ghostbusters: Afterlife made its debut over the weekend and proved to be quite the box office champ as it exceeded its early tracking numbers. The sequel grossed $44 million over the weekend which was well ahead of the $30-35 million the film was tracking at ahead of the weekend.

The opening is slightly less than the $46 million opening for the 2016 reboot but the key difference at play is budget. ..

The 2016 film carried a staggering $140 million budget before marketing costs while the latest entry is a relatively slim $75 million…

Reviews from critics slammed the new film… however fans, who dressed up in nostalgic gear at movie theaters and clapped and cheered certain scenes, loved it.

The fans ate it up like Muncher chewing on prison bars…

Ric Flair reveals that Hulk Hogan is not doing well

Speaking on the latest episode of “Wooooo Nation Uncensored“, NATURE BOY RIC FLAIR spoke on the topic of Hogan’s deteriorating health.

While he didn’t give any other details about the problem he said that it is a ‘terrible’ situation.

“He’s having some really bad health issues, but he keeps up with me. We support each other, good and bad. When I was in the hospital, he flew up that day like everybody else that came up to see me…Hulk was gracious; Jimmy Hart was great. I don’t remember seeing them because I was in a coma, but they made the effort to go. Those are the kind of things that mean a lot,” he said.

It is unknown as to what medical issues have been taking place for Hogan…

Flair himself has defied the cloak of death a number of times and somehow, despite history of alcohol infused matches and plane rides from hell, he keeps on ticking and talking in Woooo Nation..

  • Fangoria Screams

    Fangoria Screams

For better or worse, Famgoria magazine is putting a SCREAM on his cover for subscribers. The cover story APPEARS on newsstands , for those at least to still buy the magazine after all these years of technological advancements.

The cover is pretty cool, the imagery of the movie is front and center slashing the paper version of the magazine. But here again, the idea of magazines in general or not appreciated it in today’s timeline, but the nostalgia of this film could cause a certain uumph of people to go out and buy the magazine from new stands again.

  • GHOSTBUSTERS AFTERLIFE has box office life!

GHOSTBUSTERS AFTERLIFE has box office life!

Ghostbusters: Afterlife grossed $16.5 million on Friday, a figure that includes the $4.5 million the film made in Thursday night previews, per “Deadline.”

This gross is exactly what the film needed and guarantees that the film will exceed its initial tracking of $30-35 million. We’re looking at a potential $40 million+ opening weekend and how it goes depends on how hard families come out for the movie the rest of the weekend.

This amazing movie is both an homage to the past along with a wonderful and refreshingly new take on the film.. it deserves credit as one of the better films of all of 2021, from start to finish people were on the edge of their seats. Incredibly, during certain scenes of AFTERLIFE, people applauded at the beautiful way film makers honored Egon and others.

GHOSTBUSTERS AFTERLIFE is a fun ride and a well-worth-it-theater moment .. it needs to be seen on the big screen in at atmosphere that is shared among other human beings who feel the nostalgia of the original coupled with the freshness of the new film…

  • Euro nightmare: COVID

    Euro nightmare: COVID

Tens of thousands of protesters, many from far-right groups, marched through Vienna on Saturday after the Austrian government announced a nationwide lockdown beginning Monday to contain skyrocketing coronavirus infections.

Demonstrations against virus restrictions also took place in Switzerland, Croatia, Italy, Northern Ireland and the Netherlands on Saturday, a day after Dutch police opened fire on protesters and seven people were injured in rioting that erupted in Rotterdam. Protesters rallied against coronavirus restrictions and mandatory COVID-19 passes needed in many European countries to enter restaurants, Christmas markets or sports events, as well as mandatory vaccinations.

Few news outlets covered any of the developments..

Drudge Report stood out as one exception..

    Smallpox found in a freezer

News headlines of late appear to be more like the Onion stories, but this one is very real and somewhat startling. Apparently, a vial of smallpox was found in the freezer at a lab in Pennsylvania!

    Here is what is know:

“The frozen vials labeled ‘Smallpox’ were incidentally discovered by a laboratory worker while cleaning out a freezer in a facility that conducts vaccine research in Pennsylvania. CDC, its Administration partners, and law enforcement are investigating the matter and the vials’ contents appear intact,” the CDC added.

“The laboratory worker who discovered the vials was wearing gloves and a face mask. We will provide further details as they are available.”

According to Yahoo News, which cited an alert sent to Department of Homeland Security leadership, the vials were reportedly found in a freezer Monday night at a Merck facility outside Philadelphia.

The closest Merck sites to Philadelphia are the sprawling campuses in West Point and North Wales, Montgomery County, although Action News cannot confirm there are questionable vials inside the building.

While this matter has zero zilch to do with COVID-19, Facebook has given itself the chance to use news links of it to Xpress the safety of the COVID-19 vaccination roll out.

Potential Thanksgiving storm set for Northeast

A significant storm has the potential to disrupt travel plans from the Midwest to the Northeast during one of the busiest times of the year to travel. We are talking about disruptions at major airline hubs like Chicago and New York at the beginning of next week. “The upper trough and a possible embedded low may support potentially significant low pressure that would affect portions of the East, and requires monitoring given the busy Thanksgiving holiday travel week,” the Weather Prediction Center (WPC) said Tuesday morning.
