The annual buildup and energy to the biggest holiday of the year is finished.
365 more days to go until the next budget busting seasonal fanfare.
The whirlwind amount of unwrapping makes the hours worth of work seem futile.
But this year, my son still believes. His honest and true 6-year-old heart is beautiful. The joy he brings his family is incredible. The youth and vigor in which he faces like is inspiring.
I hope you have inspiration as these 535,600 minutes of 2017 come to an end..
And in ’18?
I hope we all experience a season of love.And believe…..
Hope.
Hope springs eternal.

Elizondo tells Morning Edition’s Steve Inskeep that Pentagon staff didn’t always understand what they saw. Among the mysteries was recently-released footage recorded from the cockpit of a U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet. In it the pilots can be heard marveling at an object, astonished at its speed and how it seems to rotate, inexplicably, in the air..Ex-Navy pilot describes an eerie encounter with UFO.. MORE: “It was a real object, it exists and I saw it,” he told the Washington Post. “Something not from the Earth.” Fravor spotted the flying object on Nov. 14, 2004, after a break in a routine training mission about 60 to 100 miles off the coast between San Diego and Ensenada, Mexico, the newspaper reported. He was searching for some flying objects that officials had been tracking, when he spotted one hovering above the ocean’s surface. It looked like a “white Tic Tac, about the same size as a Hornet, 40 feet long with no wings,” Fravor said. “Just hanging close to the water.”

In the $600 billion annual Defense Department budgets, the $22 million spent on the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program was almost impossible to find.
Which was how the Pentagon wanted it.
For years, the program investigated reports of unidentified flying objects, according to Defense Department officials, interviews with program participants and records obtained by The New York Times. It was run by a military intelligence official, Luis Elizondo, on the fifth floor of the Pentagon’s C Ring, deep within the building’s maze.
The Defense Department has never before acknowledged the existence of the program, which it says it shut down in 2012. But its backers say that, while the Pentagon ended funding for the effort at that time, the program remains in existence. For the past five years, they say, officials with the program have continued to investigate episodes brought to them by service members, while also carrying out their other Defense Department duties.
The shadowy program — parts of it remain classified — began in 2007, and initially it was largely funded at the request of Harry Reid, the Nevada Democrat who was the Senate majority leader at the time and who has long had an interest in space phenomena. Most of the money went to an aerospace research company run by a billionaire entrepreneur and longtime friend of Mr. Reid’s, Robert Bigelow, who is currently working with NASA to produce expandable craft for humans to use in space.
On CBS’s “60 Minutes” in May, Mr. Bigelow said he was “absolutely convinced” that aliens exist and that U.F.O.s have visited Earth.This is disclosure, in a sense? The idea that not only UFO enthusiasts claimed secret government programs existed but also that secret UFOs confounded the government as well?
…all of this happening just about in the same pattern that Tom Delonge said it would..

I do believe in Santa Claus
I WANT TO BELIEVE
I really liked this GIF enough to reblog it.. I want to believe, as well.. And somewhat do.
Let me explain.
We are filled with mystery and mayhem, this universe.. Christmas night is the ULTIMATE and most paranormal night of the year–even if you believe in Santa or the religious view, it is beyond belief. Santa can fly all over the world. Deliver gifts. Not be noticed. At the same time we worship a ‘savior’ who was born in a manger … wise men followed a star to give him gifts. He was born of a virgin. And then eventually would go on to die and rise from the dead.
How more paranormal can you get.
My son recently asked me if I believe in Santa. He is in the 1st grade and some kids have begun to talk about the reality of the situation.
I told him I do believe in Santa. AND I DO!!
I believe..
I believe because we are in a multiverse.. filled with endless potential. Endless realities. And why not .. and why would not Santa, in some realm, be real? And in some realm, why would he not be a time traveler? Someone who can defy space itself to get here.. deliver gifts.. bring hope to children facing hunger and disease, sadness and strife, all across this cold land? Why not..?I don’t just want to believe.
I do believe.
