Some People See Aliens While on DMT. Researchers Want to Find Out What They Can Teach Us

This is such a unique story from Wired Magazine..

For years people who have taken the powerful psychedelic compound DMT have reported something that sounds more like science fiction than neuroscience: encounters with strange beings. Some describe mechanical elves, others report godlike entities or shadowy figures that seem aware of their presence.

A growing body of researchers is now taking these reports seriously—not necessarily because they believe the entities are real, but because the experiences are so consistent across thousands of users that scientists want to understand what’s happening inside the human mind.

One of the more ambitious ideas comes from neurobiologist Andrew Gallimore, who is exploring something called “extended DMT” (DMTx). Instead of the usual short but intense trip that lasts around 10 to 15 minutes, this method keeps people in the altered state longer through controlled infusion, giving researchers more time to study what participants see and experience. Gallimore has even proposed something he calls “SETI for the mind,” a concept where scientists might try to communicate with these perceived entities during the experience to see whether the encounters show signs of intelligence or are simply elaborate hallucinations created by the brain.

Not everyone in the scientific world is convinced, of course. Many researchers believe the human brain is wired to recognize faces and personalities, meaning psychedelics may simply scramble our perception enough that the mind invents characters to make sense of the chaos. Still, the phenomenon remains one of the strangest recurring elements in psychedelic research. Whether the entities are nothing more than neurological fireworks or something deeper tied to consciousness itself, the question remains fascinating—and just mysterious enough to keep people asking what exactly the mind is capable of seeing when the doors of perception are pushed wide open.

  • Hegseth responds to questions about aliens

Hegseth responds to questions about aliens

Days after President Trump announced that he is directing agencies to declassify files on UFOs and UAPs, reporters have asked Secretary of War Pete Hegseth whether aliens are real..

He said he will have to review to find out..

Meanwhile Steven Greer was just on Infowars for an exclusive interview about the potential disclosure..

  • Donald Trump says Obama gave classified information when he said aliens are real; then he said tonight he’s going to sign in order to release alien information!

Donald Trump says Obama gave classified information when he said aliens are real; then he said tonight he’s going to sign in order to release alien information!

Well, we’ve always wondered how disclosure would happen… and if it would happen.
And now that some people think it might actually be happening, a strange thing is taking place — some of the loudest UFO believers suddenly don’t believe in it anymore.

Tonight, Donald Trump made what he called an announcement of epic, universal proportions.
    Here’s the quote:

“Based on the tremendous interest shown, I will be directing the Secretary of War, and other relevant Departments and Agencies, to begin the process of identifying and releasing Government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs)…”
    — President Donald J. Trump 

    So there you have it.
We’ll see what kind of files actually get released… and whether this truly amounts to disclosure. If it’s anything like other high-profile document releases, we may end up with pages of blacked-out redactions and very little substance. But this isn’t the Epstein file situation — at least not directly.
Of course, some are already saying this announcement is a distraction. That it’s meant to redirect attention away from other controversies. Others, meanwhile, have quietly hoped for years that Trump would be the president who finally oversaw alien disclosure.

And then it gets even stranger.

Trump also said that Barack Obama had already revealed classified information by suggesting aliens were real yet in the same breath, he admitted he himself doesn’t know whether aliens exist.

So what are we actually witnessing here?
Is this controlled disclosure? Political theater? A genuine shift in transparency? Or simply another layer in the long saga of government-meets-UFO culture?

If disclosure is happening, it feels… haphazard. Fragmented. Almost improvised.
And here’s the real twist: even if definitive proof of alien life were released tomorrow, would anyone believe it?

Public trust in institutions is so fractured right now that confirmation might spark more skepticism than celebration. The people who have believed for decades might question the timing. The people who never believed might dismiss it as manipulation.

We’ve reached a moment where the possibility of aliens isn’t the most unbelievable part … and with the amount of mistrust in the government people may dismiss disclosure as a fraud..

  • Nick Pope is saying his goodbyes

Nick Pope is saying his goodbyes

This is a sad story developing..

Author, journalist and TV personality Nick Pope ran the British government’s UFO program, leading the media to call him the real Fox Mulder. He’s recognized as one of the world’s leading experts on UFOs, the unexplained, and conspiracy theories. Nick is the media’s go-to person for UFOs.

And now he is using X as a platform to announce some very troubling news and effectively say goodbye to this planet a his announces a battle with cancer that is in stage 4..

A Message From Nick Pope: A while ago, following some digestive issues, I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer.

Unfortunately, it’s Stage 4 and has metastasized to my liver. While I know that it’s kindness and hope that leads people to suggest healers and supposed miracle cures, and to say things like “fight it”, and “you can beat it”, I’m afraid my diagnosis and my situation leaves no doubt whatsoever: I can’t beat it.

What an amazing adventure I’ve had! A 21-year career at the UK Ministry of Defence, where I got involved in subjects ranging from financial policy to counter-terrorism; from military policing to UAP. And I saved six cows; it’s a long story! The things I’ve done; the places I’ve been; the people I’ve met; and the secrets I’ve been privy to. I wouldn’t have swapped it for the world. And then a second career, where my previous government UAP role brought me to the attention of the world’s media, leading me to become a regular commentator on TV news shows and documentaries, as well as consulting and acting as spokesperson on various UFO and alien-themed movies, TV series and video games. The media called me the real Fox Mulder!

The true highlight, of course, is life with my wonderful, beautiful and incredibly smart wife, Elizabeth. She’s a real-life Agent Scully: a scientist, a skeptic and a redhead. We met randomly in the lobby bar of the Fairmont Hotel in downtown San José (she was an anthropology professor at San José State University) in October 2010 and got married 3 months later. We applied successfully for my Green Card and she had me shipped over and imported to the U.S., where a new adventure began, as Elizabeth and I enjoyed wildlife watching at our wonderful home in Tucson, desert hikes, film noir, true crime, country music, Sunday lunches with my in-laws, and much more besides. Recently, we had an amazing one-year adventure in New York City, living 5 minutes from Times Square, and having a wonderful view of the Empire State Building from our apartment window.

We proofread each other’s books and articles (I love commas, hyphens and exclamation points way more than Elizabeth, and managed to win at least a few of those battles), and I’m  supporting her in her ongoing fight for free speech, academic freedom, and keeping political correctness, superstition and identity politics out of science and academia. The White House Press Secretary Tweeted one of her recent newspaper articles, which shows the huge impact she’s having.

I kept working for as long as I could (right up until last week), with my various film/TV interviews, conference appearances, and live events, including my position as moderator of Ancient Aliens Live – where I think I did 94 shows. Sadly, the time has come where I’ve had to step away from this work. A lot of people have followed my work on UAP. I’m loath to use the word “fans”, because I’m not a celebrity. But I am a public figure, and many people have followed me on my journey as I’ve sought to keep the UAP subject in the public eye, and to frame it as a defense, national security and safety of flight issue – as well as a fascinating science problem. Some of this work has been public knowledge, but some such work, of necessity, has been done behind the scenes.

I hope I’ve helped move the needle forward. But most people, of course, know me through my media interviews and live events. To everyone who’s followed me on my journey, thank you – and good luck with your own journeys. I wish you every success and happiness.

It’s all been amazing, and I’m grateful for the things I’ve done, not mournful for the things that I won’t now get to do.

  • Obama casually admits aliens!?

    Obama casually admits aliens!?

    yes.. OBAMA ADMITS ALIENS

    This one seems siren worthy!!

Former President Barack Obama said that aliens are real but he has no idea where they are during a podcast appearance released Saturday.

“They’re real, but I haven’t seen them,” Obama told YouTuber Brian Tyler Cowen after he asked him about extraterrestrials.

So they are real.. but haven’t seen them. We are cautious here–perhaps this was not necessarily an admission? Perhaps the wrong use of language.. not careful sentence construction…

But he …said they are real. REAL.

The former president did not offer any further details on what he mean by “real” — and no follow-up questions on the topic were asked — but he used the appearance to cast doubt on several longtime theories as to where they might be.

    MORE..

“But what is true — and I’m actually being serious here — is that there’s footage and records of objects in the skies that we don’t know exactly what they are,” he said.

So after all of these years.. did a former president just factually and yet casually announce disclosure?

The former president also addressed the controversies of the day, including the current president posting a video that had a snippet of him and his wife Michelle..

CHARIOTS OF THE GODS author now in the heavens

Erich von Däniken was the Swiss author whose bestselling books about the extraterrestrial origins of ancient civilizations brought him fame among paranormal enthusiasts and scorn from the scientific community.. He has died.

    He was 90.

Von Däniken’s representatives announced on his website on Sunday that he had died the previous day in a hospital in central Switzerland.

His daughter Cornelia confirmed the information to Swiss news agency SDA.

Von Däniken rose to prominence in 1968 with the publication of his first book “Chariots of the Gods,” in which he claimed that the Mayans and ancient Egyptians were visited by alien astronauts and instructed in advanced technology that allowed them to build giant pyramids.

May he rest in peace.. and may God grant his soul the ability to know the answers he sought on Earth.

  • The mysterious Spielberg UFO movie

    The mysterious Spielberg UFO movie

Steven Spielberg is reportedly making a new movie, and if the rumors are true, it’s going to rock the world of UFO enthusiasts — or at least get their hopes way up. Of course, a lot of that could simply be marketing hype mixed with existential wish-casting. But if there’s anyone who could stir that kind of anticipation, it’s Spielberg. After all, this is the man behind Close Encounters of the Third Kind and E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial — films that didn’t just entertain people, but quietly rewired how an entire generation thinks about alien contact.

The recent UK Telegraph article describing the project leans heavily into a familiar narrative within UFO culture. One story that always resurfaces is the alleged White House screening of E.T. for Ronald Reagan. Supposedly, when the film ended, Reagan stood up and said — maybe joking, maybe not — that there were people in the room who knew that everything they had just watched was true. Whether that moment actually happened exactly as described almost doesn’t matter anymore. It’s become part of the mythology.

The new Spielberg film itself is still wrapped in secrecy, but one detail from the article jumped out at me — and I had completely forgotten this — a significant portion of it was filmed in New Jersey. That immediately brings to mind the so-called New Jersey drone sightings that dominated headlines just a year ago and then vanished entirely. Not even below the fold — just gone. But if you talk to people in New Jersey, you’ll hear that the drones never really stopped. They’re reportedly still seen regularly. They’ve just become so common that no one talks about them anymore. Like planes in the sky.

That’s part of what makes this Telegraph article so fun, and what makes this Spielberg project so intriguing. There’s even a rumor floating around — clearly conspiracy-theory territory — that a real alien might “star” in the movie. Obviously, that’s not happening. For one thing, it would probably violate every Screen Actors Guild rule imaginable, not to mention require the creation of an entirely new galactic union chapter. Unless, of course, the alien is playing itself. Or themselves. Or itself. The grammar alone would be a nightmare.

    THE TELEGRAPH MOCKS:

Tinfoil hat wearers have reacted with characteristic calmness and sagacity to the news that Spielberg is returning to his sci-fi roots with his new production, filming of which was completed in the summer. It is said to have had several working titles, including The Dish and Non-View, but is now reported to be called Disclosure.

The new name, if it is correct, would provide “evidence” for the conspiracists that Spielberg knows more than he is letting on – “disclosure” being a key term for the alien truthers. They hold that the American authorities have secret information about UFOs and extraterrestrial life and want it to be publicly revealed, in a process they term “disclosure”.

Chris Ramsay, a Montreal-based magician who has a YouTube channel devoted to UFO theories, went viral with a tweet in which he most clearly set out the conspiracists’ thinking about Spielberg’s new film. Like any good conspiracy theorist, he described his thesis as something “that’s so crazy it just might be brilliant”.

Still, the idea is entertaining. And beneath the humor is a more interesting possibility: that Spielberg, over decades of filmmaking, may have become acquainted with enough people in enough rooms to suspect that something is going on. That maybe Reagan wasn’t joking. That maybe E.T. wasn’t just a children’s movie, but a soft disclosure story told in the safest way possible.

Regardless of what ultimately comes of this new film — whenever it’s released, and whatever it ends up being called — the anticipation is already enormous. The marketing machine seems primed, the speculation is growing, and expectations are high. We have little doubt the movie will be good. And even if it isn’t…

Well, it’ll still be out of this world.

(Sorry. I had to make at least one pun.)
