CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF CHAOS: ONE NIGHT IN WATERTOWN
While many slept, they missed breaking news events of epic proportions. It felt like the scene of a BATMAN movie, except no one is coming from Wayne Mansion to save the day..
A brief timeline of events as they have transpired so far:- Shortly after midnight East Coast time, a campus police office at MIT was shot killed.. Gunshots were reported on the campus and an alert was issued on the website .. the situation was called “active” and dangerous by officials
- Shorter before 3am EDT, multipe explosions were reported to have been used against police at an incident in Watertown, Massachusetts. Speculation quickly connected the MIT police killing with the explosions in the town..
- Around 4:30 AM, news broke that a suspect was on the loose in Watertown, and that the person matches the description of Suspect 2 in the Boston Marathon bombings (the one with the white ball cap)..
- At 5:30 AM, news broke that one suspect from Monday’s terror attack in Boston was dead after the night of violence in Massachusetts. The other, however, is on the loose. Police said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
- Shortly before 6am, it was reported that the MBTA transit service has been shut down until further notice
- Residents have been told to keep their doors locked and not to leave
- The town of Watertown, MA, is being considered a ‘hot zone,’ according to NBC
- MIT classes are canceled today..
This is a quickly developing story..Police are beginning to ponder whether the suspect still alive is not own armed and dangerous, but potentially a walking bomb with an IED strapped to his person..

OVERKILL? Or just aggressive marketing
Fans hungry for new STAR WARS movies are going to be hit hard.. we all will be.
Starting in 2015, Disney is planning a NEW STAR WARS MOVIE every summer.. By 2019 we’d see double the STAR WARS films that exist now. And as Entertainment WEEKLY reports, they are actually hoping that the movies start their very own spinoffs that become just as popular as the original movies..In modern entertainment, there are two important things to consider: 1) Hollywood is out of ideas, and 2) When they have a great idea they overdo it.
And that is what I predict will happen with this flawed Disney plan..
A new movie every summer?
They will market aggressively. We know that..
The originals, however, are still more popular than the newer films. Because of the cast.. and the originality of it all.
These days we’ve seen it all. And we’ll be seeing it all over and over again every year..

Gosnell Employee: I Saw Ten Babies Breathe Before They Were Killed
The final prosecution witness against Kermit Gosnell, the abortion doctor on trial for the capital murder of seven babies and one adult patient, was Kareema Cross, a former employee of Gosnell’s. Thursday Cross testified that she saw ten babies breathe before Gosnell killed them.
Pretty horrific stuff, don’t you think?But yet another day of empty media seats and hardly any coverage..
I just don’t get it. This does not have to even boil down to a pro-life vs pro-choice issue.. I think both sides can reasonably agree on the premise that we are all anti-murder.The trial thus far has featured a strong prosecution.. this was damning today.. but I still cannot get over the testimony of the maintenance man who became tired of his job because he had to constantly clean up baby body parts .. -
