Tales from an email: Black eyed children of a wild imagination?
I received this email tonight. I will reprint it in its form, spelling mistakes included, I am excluding names and towns:
My name is __________ from __________. I’ve eben reading your site for a few years. I think last year sometime I saw you reportd on the black eyed children. I thought it was stupid. Until a few days ago when I was working in my kitchen late at night and the front door had a knock on it. I looked out and saw the tops of a few kids heads. I was a little freaked since no kids live around me, so i carefluly went to the door and saw what appeared to be black eyed children there, 3 young boys. I didn’t open the door, instead I ran into my living roomm and got a cruficix off the wall, by the time I went back the kids were gone. Think it’s real?
The writer asked, “Think it’s real?” I assume he is asking me if I think he really saw those kids.. that, or he is asking if I believe him.
I can’t tell you if I believe him or not. I wasn’t there, neither were you.. and it the event really did occur, who am I to question what he felt was reality.
ON the other hand.. if he’s asking if I believe in the ‘black eyed children’ subject in general? Well.. on that one I will plead the 5th. Namely because if I say what I really think, either way, some black eyed children will show up at my door and methodically knock until I answer. And nobody’s got time for that.
As always, email me at Bryan@HorrorReport.com. I’d love to hear from you..

Meteor journalism
Last night, the social media and internet world of fast reporters beat the major mainstreamers once again. The meteor that lit up the East Coast wasn’t mentioned on CNN, NBC, FOX, or others.. it wasn’t reported on the front pages of CNN’s website or other big media outlets.. Instead, Twitter and Tumblr lit up, along with thousands of websites immediately began reporting about the meteor.. And what happened next? A media scramble trying to keep up.
Good job internet world.
And they wonder why the old media is dying.. -

The irony of timing and the meteor strike a day after a strange NASA comment
Now that the Internet world is alive and well with various reports of a meteor and also reports of a meteorite strike in at least two states along the border, one must look at the timing..
No panic necessary, it did not impact like it did Russia a few weeks ago, but ironically yesterday NASA said if he meteor was heading for New York City the only thing we can do is pray..
Got to wonder if they know something…
The world is filled with such strange frequencies anymore I can’t tell what is ironic, or just plain horrific..

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS: Meteor show along the East Coast
First booms and noises were heard in Jersey this week.. and now this: A possible meteor has been seen all across the Eastern Seaboard of the United States.. from New York to Pennsylvania, Jersey, D.C., and Virginia..
According to reports and thousands of Tweets tonight, eyewitnesses are reporting seeing a bright flash of light in the sky. .
The unusual part of this particular show is that so many people in so many states saw it. It was not confined to one area..
Email the HORROR REPORT at Bryan@horrorreport.com if you saw the lights..
