Report: Penn State quarterback suffers seizure after locker room brawl
This time from the current college football team.It was revealed this evening that Penn State’s quarterback Matt McGloin has suffered a seizure and potential concussion after a scuffle took place in the college locker room.The Harrisburg PATRIOT NEWS exclusively reported that the incident occurred; the newspaper also reports that Penn State police are investigating the details.This comes after a harrowing week for the university ended. Jerry Sandusky’s lawyers offered up a theory that he was simply helping young boys apply soap to their bodies… a theory and a grasp in the dark (no pun intended) for a defense.Days ago, another bad report hit the school: The US Department of Education’s stats showed that Penn State Schuylkill in Pennsylvania had the second highest crime rate, including on campus robberies and sexual assault.. second only to main campus. State College.The once happy valley.The news tonight of a seizure and scuffle only further hurt the respect that the Pennsylvania school once had. -

An act of God.. a city not liable…
Controversy in Fort Worth this weekend after a street light in the city fell and damaged a man’s car.Why the controversy?Because the city said the incident was an ‘act of God’.. under Texas law, that means they are not responsible for the damage.I thought our God was an awesome God? Instead he’s busy smashing and trashing…and letting cities off the hook for insurance claims. -
Some are sure: Christopher Hitchens is currently burning in hell
Christopher Hitchens died this week.. and when he did, a tremendous amounts of tributes were immediately flying online. Also with those tributes: Reprehensible words from some ultra religious people stating that he was sent to hell by the all forgiving God.Among those: A conservative radio talk show host named Bryan Fischer. Fischer said that if Hitchens is now burning in eternal damnation it’s because God loves him, and not hates him. Fischer is getting his name on the map, now, of course.. but also on the map is his words of hate.We cannot know if a person is in hell or heaven. HELL, WE DON’T KNOW IF THERE IS A HEAVEN OR HELL!!But .. some are able to say with clarity and surety that Christopher Hitchens is now burning in eternal suffering… and his sin? Now believing he could burn in eternal suffering.So believe. Fear.Or … you, too, can burn with Chris……….
