CATASTROPHIC FLOODING ALONG PARTS OF THE EAST COAST TODAY..
Flash flooding has spread to South Carolina, residents are stranded in water in some locations..
There continues to be the ‘once in 200 years’ title added to the flooding in that state..
I have seen a number of videos this morning showcasing moments when the ocean is coming onto the land and gobbling up parts of properties build dangerously close to the Atlantic ..
This is NOT because of Hurricane Joaquin–that storm is racing to Bermuda and will cause all sorts of hell and havoc . This instead is because of a coastal storm

The U.S. Coast Guard resumed its search early Saturday across Bahamian waters for a disabled cargo ship with 33 crewmembers, including 28 Americans, that lost contact during Hurricane Joaquin, which was moving away from the sprawling archipelago
From the AP:
Officials said the crew – 28 Americans and five Poles – earlier reported they had been able to contain the flooding. The Coast Guard said it had covered more than 850 square miles in its search so far.
“We’re going to go and try and save lives. We’re going to push it to the operational limits as far as we can,” Coast Guard Capt. Mark Fedor said of rescue efforts.
Fedor said there were 20- to 30-foot (up to 9-meter) waves in the area, and that heavy winds could have destroyed the ship’s communications equipment. The ship went missing when Joaquin was a Category 4 storm. The hurricane has since weakened to a Category 3.

East coast time frame days away but preparations must begin immediately for anything that happens. -
This scenario, a EURO model projection, would be much better for lives and limbs along the east coast as opposed to the westward model of the GFS.. Days to go.
Time will tell..
But early prognostications that stated Joaquin would be Sandy part 2 were fear porn and irresponsible.. -
While everyone is getting ready for Hurricane Joaquin, I don’t think America got over the last disaster named the same..

This model for Hurricane Joaquin gives me pause. If this happens, it will be around Sunday/Monday.. this would mean intense winds and flooding rains..
Sandy happened in October as well.
No one in the Northeast wants another Sandy for the rest of our lives.
