This is Beijing, one picture BEFORE a parade and after.. People were so excited to finally see a blue sky in the city, they whipped out cameras to capture the moment.. (http://www.cnn.com/2015/09/04/asia/china-beijing-blue-sky-disappears-after-military-parade/)
The CNN article linked doesn’t mention much about this, but I wonder if it was also utilized by China: Manipulating weather. But have they gotten as good as making there be some blue skies in an otherwise hopeless and polluted city?

Amid epic drought, California farmers turn to water witches
With nearly 50 percent of the state in “exceptional drought” — the highest intensity on the scale — and no immediate relief in sight, Californians are increasingly turning to spiritual methods and even magic in their desperation to bring an end to the dry spell.

This is a forecast map for June 28 2015–that trough you are seeing over the East Coast is more like a winter time pattern than mid-summer.. It’s strong for this time of year. If it happens to occur like that, there may be some flooding over Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and other parts of the East Coast.
My forecast area is in the trough location.. Current forecast for the time period in question: High temperatures in the 60s with rain.. That is more like April of October.. Not the week of the Fourth of July.

At least 650 bodies have been brought here since Saturday. Many lie in storage. But an oppressive heat wave – and the frequent power outages from electricity grids trying to keep up with demand – means the morgue is unable to properly maintain the temperature at the overcrowded facility.
A handwritten sign outside says the morgue is filled to capacity. Other bodies lie outside.

Dry shampoos already had started to gain traction because more consumers want to keep their hair’s natural oils intact and avoid harsh substances. Sales of the products are growing five times as fast as the 2 percent gain predicted for the total shampoo category through 2019, Aitken said, citing Euromonitor International data.
“It is now a case of skip a wash, or even two, among some of the users I know,” she said.
People who feel compelled to keep skip showers entirely have some waterless options for keeping clean. There are a number of personal cleansers geared to medical caregivers that don’t require water, including a version made by CVS Health Corp. for sale in its stores.

Watching the area closely..
