Late last night, the world found out that Ariel Castro, just sentenced to 1,000 years in prison for kidnapping and torture, was dead.. He was found hanged in his cell.. Justice does not seem to be served with this action.. suicide? Or did another prisoner do it.. did the guards let it happen? Or is this simply another example of Castro himself yet again robbing people of justice, being put out of his wretched misery much too soon..? He was moved for his safety prior to the death, says a report.. An investigation will now begin into why this happened and how it happened..

Ariel Castro, who held three women hostage in Cleveland for about a decade, killed himself in prison, authorities told CNN affiliate WOIO.

Castro was sentenced last month to life in prison without parole, plus 1,000 years.

Lately I have been the confessional for people who have had paranormal experiences, or questions. At my birthday spaghetti dinner today, my sister approached me with a tale of the strange and downright creepy.. According to her recent memory of something that occurred just a few days ago, she said she felt the presence of someone in the back seat of her car while she was driving.. the way she dealt with it was my suggestion: Ignore it’s there, pretend it’s not. Go about your business as though nothing is looking back, although she said that she saw “it” about four times before it finally was gone for good…

People may scoff and laugh at those who have such experiences. The ‘black eyed children’ is considered a hoax by many–but people who have profoundly amazing background and lives have been involved with saying that they have seen them.. Only a few days ago, the HORROR REPORT wrote a story about the 1 2 3 Lady, the woman who quietly counts while tapping on the window of children..

And now my own sister with a haunted recollection of something that took place within the confines of her own car–a space that should be safe from that type of thing..

Eyes can play tricks on those who inhabit them.. Settings and scenery can cause shadows to appear as something other than what they are, plain shadows. And often, our imaginations run wild without despair or repair, enticing our brains to conjure up some weird facts that perhaps never were real to begin with..

But how could I, or anyone else, truly judge the ‘story’ someone presents? Unless a medical condition is documented, what should we assume what someone believes whole hardheartedly to be true is false?  Sure, science and reason will dictate that most of what we hear is probably not true.. from UFOs with the cattle mutilation to the sounds of the earth groaning across the landscape, we can debunk it all..

But just ponder to yourself, when you’re deep in thought or silent in darkness, how much of the 100% you try to call false perhaps is not.. maybe just .01% could be truly unexplained, but that’s still something.

And when your family member, who tells the truth and believes what she sees, tells you of an experience, will your downgrade that person and tell her that she did not see what she believes she did?

It’s not living anymore.. but I’d sure love if someone out there in internetland would have an idea of the kind of spider this is? Comment below should you know..
Got to tell you.. I’ve never seen one like this in my life around in my neck of the woods.. It was as big as a half dollar, hairy, and …quite frightening looking

Lady Uh Oh.. Lady Stop Singing?

Even my wife turned off the iTunes concert last night–which is a pretty immense development..

Here is the deal, as only a not-so-relevant commentator on all things pop culture can state it.

Everyone is coming down on Stephanie Germanotto, like.. lots. Pop culture has turned inside out.. the Gaga that was cool only years ago is now .. well, having concerts like she did tonight at the iTunes festival in which big media outlets are lampooning her for her performance and ‘diluted’ act.. It was in London, so the snarkiest of commentary is coming from publications across the pond. Such as the UK INDEPENDENT, which writes, 

And yet the six new tracks with which she delivered ARTPOP, her third album, to the world, did little to shake the persona so embedded in pop culture. The thumping techno overlaid with swelling vocals remains a formula to which she clings, and upon which her chart bankability relies. Her ability as a singer is formidable, but musically, she is less inventive than her wardrobe would suggest.
‘#Swinefest’, as the gig was bizarrely dubbed, perhaps wasn’t one of her more dulcet promotional slogans, and yet a Twitter-primed crowd, composed of her Little and not-so-Little Monsters, was rammed into the Roundhouse, accessorised with pig noses and squealing for more.

It gets less kind from there.

The bottom line is that fans of Gaga will forgive a bad performance here or there.. Everyone has an off night. But this was set to be a big one.. and is people are disappointed as some cocky commentators online, then maybe we will soon see Lady Revamp. Unless Steph is just happen being Gaga.

Call me crazy, as I’m sure some will, but I always ponder back to the poker face playing days of early Gaga lure, back when I listened to her songs for the first time going to a work Christmas party with my wife in snow, and stopping at a casino after we were awe-inspired to win big fortunes by her Poker Face song (*we lost, but gained a son*)..  back then, everything was so fresh, so new, and so creative. But I also think about that time, when Yana Morgana claimed that Lady Gaga stole her daughter Lina’s soul .. remember that outlandish allegation? Just dance………………  Some even said that Gags poked fun at Morgana’s death in one of her songs..

Maybe this is pop culture gone mad, but I wonder, if Lady Gaga fails to impress the ranks of the modern music listeners, will that be Lina Morgana’s ultimate revenge? Could it be that her soul was taken by a young Gaga, who dared to make it big by stealing the spotlight of a labored former human?
