    Papa Bear don’t preach

The longest debated (and maybe original) Mandela Effect is back again!

In a very popular 1980s nostalgia Facebook page, a posting showed an image that may or may not be real showed up. It is a stuffed animal of Papa Bear from the Berenstein or Stein Bears. Depending on your place in the universe, YOU CHOOSE!

The bigger copyrighted logo shows the title: “THE BERENSTAIN BEARS.”

The little letters show the Berenstein Papa Bear as the name of the 13inch animal.

    So what do you own!?

THE OLD WORLD pre-Mandela Effect bear.. or the new 21st century version that ditched all old world spellings!?

For those who are not aware, this is the longest running and most famous Mandela Effect going.. the idea that somehow somewhere along the way the name “Berenstein” changed to “Berenstain” occurred.

Some call it disambiguation.. false memories. Others label it as as real as the past they recall.. a moment in time when books said something different than they do now and King Henry ate a turkey leg in history text books.

    Those were the days.

And if this little bear being passed around on Facebook is real, you can tuck yourself to sleep at night knowing that all is well in the old world of the Berenstein bears.

    Famous Mandela effect revisited..

A post that appeared on 4Chan also had this image:

    Look close!

Is that the famous but lost logo of the company Fruit of the Loom? Is that really that fresh fruit cornucopia that so many people say they recall but that doesn’t exist in this timeline?

Or .. just amazing artistic craftsmanship and a ballpoint pen?

What memory resonates more… the current logo or that past former logo that never was?

  • The Yanny Laurel Mandela Effect?

    The Yanny Laurel Mandela Effect?

Travel down this road with me briefly. Sure you are tired of this yanny vs laurel debate.. And yes, it has been ‘settled’ as much as internet memes and anger can be.

A Reddit user RolandCamry posted a short video clip including the audio on the subreddit r/blackmagicfuckery this week. The clip was actually a video of an Instagram poll asking users to vote on which word they heard.

We all suddenly got sick of hearing and debating after 18 hours straight of worldwide coverage.

It went mega-viral after popular YouTuber Cloe Feldman tweeted it on Monday — sparking the greatest debate of the past three years, right after The Dress debacle of 2015 and the weird turquoise (OR WHITE) tennis shoe from 2017.

The newest incarnation had families and friendships divided. Workplaces became cauldrons of debate and anonmosity over what word was being heard.

For me? It was laurel. Most of my co-workers heard yanny. My wife was laurel but my own son was yanny.

Last night, two friends sent me emergency SOS messages. Their hearing had changed. They heard yanny in the bright morning sun—they scoffed at my opinion of laurel. By nightfall, they were hearing laurel as much as I did.

How many times in the Mandela Effect community has there been debate over song lyrics? WE can dance if you want to , or you? Did you PRETEND or begin to pray in church when you went California Dreamin’? And …Journey? I didn’t stop believing but not sure if was a small town he or she that took the train.

All of these lyrics and words are subject for the audience’s interpretation and opinion. So often what I hear is not what you hear.. what I see if different from what is in your line of sight. Entire events look alternate. And when worlds collide and memories get fuzzy, our sense of history shifts and turns along the road to the Mandela Effect.

Perhaps those hearing yanny yesterday and suddenly hearing laurel later are simply the newest casualties of this strange phenomenon that science scoffs at and experts laugh about. The mis-memory of our time. The ultimate LIVE ACTION snappable instagrammable and tweetable Mandela Effect in real time: Yanny? Laurel? ….

Minus out all of those theories and scientific revelations as to why we are hearing two distinctly different words.. Trash it.

Instead? … maybe you’re hearing the word that simply on your personal timeline.

  • SHAZAM revisited: When memories of alternative realities fail

SHAZAM revisited: When memories of alternative realities fail

For some time now the HORROR REPORT and many other sources have reported that a lot–a LOT of people– recall seeing a movie called SHAZAM starring Sinbad the comedian.

The problem has long been this: The movie, in this reality, has never existed..
Recently a local radio station ran a poll asking listeners to call in to their station and write comments online as to what movie was the first they ever saw..
Two people wrote “SHAZAM.”  The others, in response, stated that the movie never existed..
Two people just got hit with the reality that so many others have already lived through: The Mandela Effect, my friends, still alive and unwell…

FROM EMAIL: Hi, I have a possible example of the Mandela effect.

You see, I vividly remember this movie about a dog who gets lost while on a family road trip, and encounters a restaurant that makes hot dogs out of actual dogs. I could go on and on about the details of the movie, but everyone I ask in person says it doesn’t exist, and I’ve searched far and wide on the internet and have found nothing. I swear this movie existed, and I watched it in the early 2000’s, but it was an older movie. Drives me nuts.

Thank you for this .. And yes..when you described this I actually seem to recall something similar.
It will drive you nuts. Mandela Effects are like that. They come.. they go.. they destroy the fabric of your mind.
Thanks for reading. Stick around. I believe we will continue to drive you nuts. And you will drive yourself nuts when you think of this movie about the dog road trip..

  • THE JFK MANDELA EFFECT..

    THE JFK MANDELA EFFECT..

    THE JFK MANDELA EFFECT..

I received a message on here yesterday that I should delve deep into the JFK Mandela Effect.. I am aware of this one, and have been for a while. I think there may actually be a logical explanation to it.. except for one thing.

First off, here is what the ME would say: There were only four people in the presidential limo that fateful day in Dallas: John Kennedy, Jackie O, Connelly, and a driver..

And now, a new reality unfolds: There are six: JFK and FLOTUS, the Texas GOV.. The GOV’s wife..a driver.. and an agent in the front passenger seat.

And yes, there is that somewhat famous image of LIFE mag showcasing a limo with flowers –apparently one with four seats.

A couple things to keep in mind. First off, the limo was destroyed only hours after the assassination. Something that many decried as foul since, really, the car was the scene of a murder and active investigation. So the LIFE image? The logic on where that really was from escapes me..

But to have a ‘magic bullet’ theory, one needs the Texas governor in the car..that basically allows for the famed Arlen Spector theory of that Seinfeld mocked with a magic lugey theory in the 90s..

I think, to add a bit of logic to this ME, here is my thought: When the actual final shot strikes Kennedy, your eyes deceive you. Connelly and his wife are both ducked down in the seat in front of JFK and JAC.. you only see the president and first lady and then the two agents in the front.. It would make some logical sense to conclude that the brain snaps the image of the final shot, and in that image there are really only four people completely visible. And heck, most people are focused on the head shot that eventually strikes a mortal blow to President Kennedy.

And then….the mystery to me. I can understand the confusion.. and I can also in my own sense dispute the four people in a car theory. But .. the glass partition that separates Kennedy and company from the agents? Well.. that is what I cannot recall vividly being there. As a matter of fact, the notion of the ‘driver did it theory’ only works if there is no glass partition there. I don’t recall that ..

But it is there. All shiny and new.

So there.. as requested, my thoughts on the JFK Mandela Effect. For better or worse. I would be awfully curious as to your memories.. your thoughts… your timeline? Share aware!

  • How do YOU remember the A Team van looking?

How do YOU remember the A Team van looking?

How do YOU remember the A Team van looking?

I recall an all black van with a red stripe going through it.. The toys from the 1980s I found also appear to have an all black design with red stripe.

And then come the other reality: The van in the show was black–and gray–with a red stripe in the middle.

    Yes, that is right.
Your timeline must be the same as mine if you recall all black. But the reality of the day is black and gray.

This is a Mandela Effect long debated online. The newest incarnation of the A Team van a lot of people pitying the fool who believes it was once gray with black combined.

There are some–those who use science and logic–that will say we are just having false memories. Maybe.. Maybe. I cannot truly expect anyone to just buy into the Mandela Effect without first being shocked.

I was shocked myself to the realization that something seems odd.. First the King Henry VIII turkey leg fiasco–I dare you to find the painting with it in!–and also the A Team van color.

I had an A Team toy when I was young. I remember because I used to have my A Team van fight with my Knight Rider car. One day I remember there was a bees nest in the van. When I picked it up, I was stung several times. That memory is so clear I cannot even explain it.. And clear in my mind: An all black van.

I have net a few people who simply thought the Mandela Effect was false memories.. just nonsense in the information superhighway that meant nothing to this reality. Until they were shocked out of their timeline by something so peculiar and weird that even they began to ponder aloud: Has the timeline shifted beyond recognition.

So that is the debate of the day: Red and black or gray and red and black? Your answer may distinguish the time you came from.

Think long and hard about this one…
    Long and hard.
