Debate Monday…. four candidates stay in. -

This is it
South Carolina votes today.. the Saturday primary is being watched closely by political observers who wonder which candidate will come out on top after the Thursday night fight .. The South Carolina Republicans set to vote for who they, in their state, feel will best tackle President Obama in the general election.
It has been mean, nasty and fierce. And today the best man may not win.. but instead the man who will win will be the one who walked out of the cauldron of campaign hell unscathed from the attacks.
The fight is on.
The battle ends today? Or just begins.. Time will tell. -

The bird is the word

Autism’s changing definition
The autism rate may soon suddenly plummet.. But the negative aspect of a seemingly good rate of reduction is that people who are in need of medical and education services would potentially be suddenly cut off–all if the definition of autism changes ..
The American Psychiatric Association is contemplating how to redefine Asberger’s Syndrome.. According to a report appearing in the New York TIMES, the new definition may exclude many now considered to have autism .. How could anyone find a silver lining in the likelihood that many who suffer would be cut from aid they depend on? Considering this telling section from the New York TIMES report:
“The proposed changes would put an end to the autism epidemic,” said Dr. Fred R. Volkmar, director of the Child Study Center at Yale University School of Medicine and an author of the new analysis. “We would nip it in the bud — think of it that way.”
That’s positive thinking I guess..
As millions wonder if their form of autism will be called autism anymore … -
