And according to a report in the always reputable UK SUN, she risks ‘outrage’ over it with the recent rash of shootings in America..Not sure how accurate it could be that she is risking such hostile outrage– though PETA was outraged years back when she wore a meat dress. But if people get outraged in a large number than people need to reassess what they get outraged about, because a gun on a bra sure ain’t worth it.

Jodie Foster steals the show at Golden Globes
Her lifetime achievement award speech garnered tears from the Hollywood audience and had a meaning far beyond Tinseltown.. Foster said, in part:“You see, Charlie and Kit, sometimes your mom loses it too. I can’t help but get moony, you know. This feels like the end of one era and the beginning of something else. Scary and exciting and now what? Well, I may never be up on this stage again, on any stage for that matter. Change, you gotta love it. I will continue to tell stories, to move people by being moved, the greatest job in the world. It’s just that from now on, I may be holding a different talking stick. And maybe it won’t be as sparkly, maybe it won’t open on 3,000 screens, maybe it will be so quiet and delicate that only dogs can hear it whistle. But it will be my writing on the wall. Fiction or not, ZERO DARK THIRTY tops the weekend box office
The movie has been controversial.. There have been conspiracy theories.. The CIA was even reportedly angry at ZERO DARK THIRTY, the movie about the demise of Osama Bin Laden.. This weekend though the film scored a first place haul at the box office, knocking out last week’s first place TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 3D and beating this week’s horror comedy A HAUNTED HOUSE..
