It’s almost mid-month . a late summer’s night nightmare may soon set in. I just cannot how fast time expires, and certainly cannot fathom another coming autumn of our lives. But yet it’s upon us. Today’s weather after last night’s amazing summer sunset is cool, crisp, and has a slight hint of fall.. Shouldn’t we have dog days providing heat and humidity this time of year? Though I’m not complaining, I am surprised.. From the 100s of July to the cool breeze of …August.. And fall didn’t even start yet. Though back to school sales are in full swing, and buses are being washed. It was always the most depressing time to be a kid..
The time, as usual, is ripe for news. So here it is.

The priest who has now been identified as the mystery man at the Missouri crash tries to bring back some paranormal again: He said he thinks there were angels at the scene..











Here is an a fascinating question I have often pondered: How many people have EVER lived..?

So much news.. so little time..
With images like this, who needs horror movies!? The earth appears to be in a cross-fire of asteroids. .but we’re told there is ‘little’ to worry about.. Thank God for that, I suppose. If you believe them–whoever the experts are that want to relieve us of our fears..
There is some proof that the world is changing beyond our wildest dreams–or nightmare depending on your point of view.. the UK DAILY MAIL is reporting today on the world’s first genetically modified baby! If they could do it to food, I suppose it was only a matter of time until they did it to babies..
Remember when people were able to lampoon presidents as a pastime? Not anymore, friends.. If you’re a clown who dresses like President Obama you could end up in sensitivity training and find yourself banned for life for the crime of comedy at the Missouri fair..
And if that’s not enough, the NAACP may say that the both the Secret Service and the Department of Justice should investigate!
While we fret about clowns dressed as the Dear Leader of the US of A, we are being faced with another farce of epic proportions: The once great American media forgetting or purposely ignoring a crisis slowly motioning into a making: There are fears tonight that the entire Pacific Ocean may get contaminated from Fukushima.. The disaster that never ends–and that few in the world are hearing about..
When you thought you heard it all, you hear this: A Georgia man has been arrested for stabbing and beheading puppies..
Swedish fish.. the kind that eat testicles.. Seriously, a warning has gone out to men to avoid crotch chomping fish!

Science attempts to solve what near death experiences are.. the latest study carried out on dying rats found high levels of brainwaves at the point of the end .. the conclusion is that NDEs are simply electrical surges in a dying brain –no matter how real people say they were, I suppose science will attempt to explain their experiences away as something tricking them in the dying moments of their lives.. It’s worth solving, perhaps this mystery is.. but on second thought, maybe not. Because if we don’t have something better to look forward to than earth, what the hell is it all worth anyway? Maybe leaving this issue alone, and leaving it a mystery, would be the best thing for humankind..?
Of course you can look at it this way, too: For these rats, consciousness seemed to survive their deaths.. … for whatever that may be worth or whatever it may mean..

A mystery priest turns into normal priest

After days of speculation that the world witnessed a miracle, the mystery priest along the Missouri highway where an accident took place has been identified as Father Patrick Dowling, of the Diocese of Jefferson City.

He described the scene in an interview and the prayers he offered..

The book has been closed on the miracle … perhaps those with little faith will chalk it up to normal duties of a normal priest, while others will proclaim it was the power of prayer that helped the woman avoid death..

(*I was not a Bush fan but … double standards here? I distinctly recall celebrations after people dressed as Bush and lampooned him at state fairs, and even a movie was made about his demise that people called “art” .. )*


Ok, there weren’t many storms yet.. but now forecasters are saying they are 70% sure that there will be an above average season this month through October..



Monday sinkhole: Now a big one opens near Disney World!

There is an overabundant amount of news today regarding sinkholes ..
From sea to sea, coast to coast.. country to country..
The latest information that you need to know:
A sinkhole opened overnight in Florida, and it is actually causing a resort near Disney World to collapse! The latest information on the scene is that a sinkhole beneath a building at Summer Bay Resort in Clermont getting deeper.. officials say it’s not clear yet if the sinkhole is also getting wider. The Red Cross is on the scene, as a three-story structure collapsed around 3am Monday–this was also evacuated and no injuries occurred..
The Florida sinkhole is right int he middle of the resort.. the AP reports that a large crack is also visible on the building’s base.. The latest on how big: The sinkhole is not 40 to 60 feet deep .. According to reports, there were complaints around 11:30 pm Sunday that the building was shaking .. Around 3:20 AM, a part of the building suddenly broke in half.. At this point another section of the same villa appears to be sinking..
The most noteworthy part of this Florida situation is that it is very close to Disney World.. CNN reporting this morning that the sinkhole is still growing.

BUT IT DOES NOT STOP THERE
And most interesting, the Louisiana sinkhole has been expanding for some time.. there have been reports of big ‘burps’ and other methane releases for some time coming from the Assumption Parish hole..NOLA DEFENDER now has video of one of those such belches.

FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS: ART BELL SPEAKS OUT ABOUT PREMIERE RADIO AND GEORGE NOORY

With little over a month to go until Art Bell appears on his own show, DARK MATTER, on Sirius XM radio,  he is taking to Facebook again. This time may be his most detailed public comment on the state  of Coast to Coast AM and his relationship with Premiere Radio that we have heard since his October 2010 departure from the program.

I want to thank all of you for the many messages that never in a zillion Years I could answer. There is not much I can say now. However some Months ago I asked Premiere to stop my Saturday replay, I thought they had run their course and I wanted them gone for reasons I will not state here. They refused and continue to this day for reasons I still don’t understand, so thank Premiere for my new show. 


The unbridled sarcasm did not stop there. 

Bell went on to write, 

I also want to thank George for signing his new LONG term contract. Without those two things I would not be going back on air. I would only add that if Premiere is going to continue my Saturday show, please tag it at the end with..”for new shows, please tune to Sirius/XM 104″. 


Over the past several days, fans of Art Bell have noticed that George Noory has used several of his bumper songs that once played when Bell was the host. Even more, users of the popular website coastgab.com (not BellGab) have made a mockery of the call screening process on Coast to Coast AM. One user named Bateman got through three nights in a row, making references to Art Bell and even telling Noory and his guest that he used the fictitious product COLON BLOW. 

Last night, perhaps trying to save some face, or at least what’s not plastic and fake, Noory said he emailed Art Bell within the last week. Noory also seemed to announce some sort of strange “support” for Art Bell’s new show, as evidenced by the user comments on BellGab .. and now tonight, Art Bell directly addressed that very subject by saying this:

With regard to George talking about my new show last night, whatever his motives were, he took the high ground and can now pick up open lines without undue fear, good move and thanks for the plug.  George has a good trait, he is a nice guy. I would like to dispel the notion however that I picked him for the show, I did not. 


But why is Art Bell so angry? He concludes his Facebook message with  this cryptic statement–and perhaps ominous one for the suits high aloft the offices of Premiere radio:

The bone I have to pick is with Premiere and it goes well beyond Saturday replays, I have been called a serial Retiree on the Web and it annoys me because the rest of the story has yet to be told. I may well tell it soon and I think you will all be quite shocked.


Meanwhile.. there is a photo perhaps rocking what is not yet rocked in Coastland tonight. An image of George Knapp, the reporter and part time Coast host, interviewing Art Bell in the Kingdom of Nye, is getting lots of press and lots of comments. Will Knapp leave Coast and end up with Bell? Will the beans be spilled on what exactly happened to end Bell’s relationship with Premiere.. will the network stop airing somewhere in time..?

All of these questions could be answered within weeks, with the culmination of events of Art Bell returning to live air … somewhere on satellite.
The tension is evident.
