    ….flashback .. the 90s.. a time of peace, scandal, cigars and blue dresses.. Seinfeld.. and yes, for kids and even young adults of a certain age, “SNICK”.. Saturday night NICK..

    Included with the train of shows`is ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK!

    “We have a laser focus on who kids are today, and what they want, so we are making a wider variety of shows and series for them, and we’re working with brand-new kinds of talent and producers,” said Nickelodeon President Brian Robbins, in a statement. “We have a new creative team in place and a renewed energy that we’re harnessing to bring the buzz back to Nick.”

    Are You Afraid of the Dark? will come back as a miniseries in October and a new version of All That will premier this summer.

    There was mass chaos in the audience at the Friday night performance of Hamilton at the Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco after someone confused a woman’s medical emergency with an active shooting and shouted “gun!”
    CBS Sacramento reporter Shirin Rajaee was watching the show when, she reports, people ducked and ran out of the theater.

    Police told Rajaee that a woman was having a heart attack when someone in the theater saw her and thought she had been shot.

    In a matter of seconds, nearly everyone in the theater took cover, Rajaee reports.
    During the ensuing chaos, some people even jumped into nearby police patrol cars, fearing an active shooting was in progress.
    The theater was evacuated and a woman was taken out in an ambulance.

    A private jet carrying Jennifer Aniston was forced to make an emergency landing on Friday, according to multiple outlets.

    The actress was reportedly on a flight headed to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico when her plane circled back and landed at an airport in Ontario, California, according to People magazine, citing a source. Per TMZ, Aniston’s close pal and former “Friends” co-star Courteney Coxwas also on the flight.

    The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) told TMZ that a flight departed Los Angeles International Airport around 11 a.m., and, during takeoff, lost a wheel or a tire.

    Pope Francis has expelled Theodore E. McCarrick, a former cardinal and archbishop of Washington, from the priesthood, after an expedited canonical process that found him guilty of sexually abusing minors and adult seminarians over decades, the Vatican said on Saturday.
    “The Holy Father has recognized the definitive nature of this decision made in accord with law” — making it final — the Vatican said of the sentence handed down by its doctrinal watchdog.
    It appears to be the first time that a cardinal or bishop in the United States has been defrocked, or laicized, from the Roman Catholic Church, and the first time any cardinal has been laicized for sexual abuse. Laicization, which strips a person of all priestly identity, also revokes church-sponsored resources like housing and financial benefits.

    McCarrick said, 

    As has been true in the past, the next pope will have to provide a moral voice to a range of challenges.

    45-year-old Gary Martin went on shooting rampage at Henry Pratt Co.

    Authorities identified the gunman in the mass shooting Friday as 45-year-old Gary Martin… he was let go from his job at the manufacturing business the Henry Pratt Co and went on a shooting rampage at his workplace in Illinois, leaving five workers dead and five officers injured..

    The business is located in the Chicago suburb of the Aurora..

    All the five employees who died in the shooting were men, police said.
    The shooter was killed during an exchange of gunfire with law enforcement officials, Aurora Police Chief Kristen Ziman said.

    John Probst, an employee who survived the shooting, told CNN affiliate WLS that the gunman was a coworker.
    He was “running down the aisle” with a pistol that had a green laser sight on it, he said.
    “As soon as I saw the green thing and heard the shots, we left,” said Probst, who’s worked at the plant for 40 years. 
    “He started opening up on the room and he was just shooting everybody.”
