Is it just us, or are HE-MAN toys no where to be found?

Can you find He-Man toys anywhere? We can’t! But clue us in if you can and where!

Wave 1.. wave 2.. wave 3..

All we can find is Skeletor and HE-MAN.. a few Man-At-Arms and a few Prince Adams.. But there are so many HE-MAN 2020/21 releases at Walmart that are not showing up.

Are you having better luck?

We are referring to the the new line of MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE toys that has been released by Mattel in 2020 and now in 2021. We were able to score several, including He-Man, Skeletor, Tea-La, Evil-Lyn, Beast Man, Man-at-Arms, and Roboto.. but we are lacking so many others…

The shortage of toys .. is it on purpose? By accident?

Will stores across America one day be overwhelmed?

We know that local fans are trying to locate them as much as we are.. when we visit Walmarts in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Jersey, and Tennessee, we are greeted with HE-MAN toys messed up.. taken off shelves.. people are actively searching for the latest waves.

And not finding them anywhere..

Collect them all!?

How about … find even one new one!! Good luck on that!

Danny Elfman strikes back on Batman score!

Danny Elfman does not like how BATMAN treated his score

The most famous soundtrack in movie history, used even today in various cartoons and even Batman lego games… makes the composer angry?!

Yes!

“I could have scored the film with some percussion, a harmonica, and a banjo because all you hear are some percussion hits in big moments, but you can’t really hear what the orchestra is doing,” says composer Danny Elfman.

The hit score, which has become synonymous with the Dark Knight since 1989, apparently strikes a sour note with Elfman. He spoke on the Premier Guitar podcast..

“I was terribly unhappy with the dub in Batman,” Elfman said. “They did it in the old school way where you do the score and turn it into the ‘professionals’ who turn the nobs and dub it in. And dubbing had gotten really wonky in those years. We recorded [multi-channel recording on] three channels — right, center, left,  — and basically, they took the center channel out of the music completely.” “It didn’t have any care put into it. I’ve had many scores play in big action scenes that really propelled the scene. And in the end of the [Batman] dub, I realized I could have had the orchestra play anything. I could have scored the film with some percussion, a harmonica, and a banjo because all you hear are some percussion hits in big moments, but you can’t really hear what the orchestra is doing.”

“That was my first lesson in how so-called professionals can take a score and the soundtrack to a movie and just do their thing in a very noncommittal way that is easiest for them; plunk it off to the side and just get the dialogue.”

All of this critical commentary.. of HIS MOST FAMOUS SCORE!!??!

Perhaps he hears something we don’t.. or something different.

To refresh your BAT BRAIN, here is a the score itself.. in all its glory. (Our opinion only apparently) … Oh, the Youtube video is published on the official Danny Elfman Youtube channel, just an FYI 🙂

THE B.1.617 bomber in India: United States travel to restrictions will take effect May 4 2021. But is it too late?

We are not trying to be a constant harbinger of doom and gloom.. but wow.. these India numbers are atrocious and concerning. IF you are not concerned you are not normal..

The horrible scourge of COVID-19 has decimated so much of India over the past week.. It is truly a horror show to see some of the images coming from the nation. We saw one video recently where two sons were transferring their deceased mom on a motorbike..

The numbers are sickened are rising into the hundreds of thousands by the day. Some conservative estimates say that there will be one million or more dead in that nation by August.

The United States has largely been able to brag up its vaccine over the previous 100 days of the Biden Administration, but this India problem seems extremely concerning. What variants? What kind of a wave.. will this effect the rest of the planet just as we want to rid earth of the plague?

The Biden administration will restrict travel from India as that country grapples with a gigantic surge in coronavirus cases, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Friday.

The policy will take effect Tuesday, May 4, Psaki said in a statement. The administration made the decision on the advice of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, she said.

India has reported an average of about 357,000 new cases per day over the past seven days — up about 26% from a week ago, Johns Hopkins data shows.

Just consider this too: 32.69% positivity rate in Delhi, India..

Concerning the variant, it seems that India is being hit by the highly contagious Covid variant, known as B.1.617, which was first spotted there. The variant, which contains two key mutations that have been found separately in other coronavirus strains, is believed by some to be behind the latest wave of infections.

The Washington POST may be explaining why the virus is spreading faster over recent weeks:

NEW DELHI — As he surveyed the thousands of people gathered at an election rally in eastern India on April 17, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appeared jubilant. “Everywhere I look, as far as I can see, there are crowds,” he said, his arms spread wide. “You have done an extraordinary thing.” At the time, India was recording more than 200,000 coronavirus cases a day. In the western state of Maharashtra, oxygen was running short, and people were dying at home because of a shortage of hospital beds. In Modi’s home state of Gujarat, crematoriums were being overwhelmed by the dead. Those scenes were just a prelude to the devastation now unfolding in India. It is recording more infections daily — at last count 379,000 — than any other country since the start of the pandemic. Hospitals are turning away severely ill patients, and their relatives are frantically searching for medical oxygen.

Elizabeth Warren and others are urging President Biden to assist with vaccines in India..

Just a note this, website is not trying to be a constant harbinger of doom and gloom.. but wow.. these India numbers are atrocious and concerning. IF you are not concerned you are not normal..

And this “ban” is not a complete ban.. and it starts May 4..

How much of the India strain already got out to the rest of the world…?
