A Friday the 13th in March..

    March 13th, 2026.

Yes, it’s Friday the 13th. But it’s something else you might have missed. You might have forgotten it, but there’s something else.

March 13th, 2020. Another Friday the 13th in history.

Donald Trump was still president back then, just like he is now. It’s weird, right? But he, and many other world leaders, also shut down the planet.
The COVID lockdowns began on this date six years back.

Listen, nobody wants to talk about it. We moved on since then, but we also haven’t. We have gotten ourselves mired endlessly in debate about politics and war, and there’s been conflict and hatred and chaos and disagreement. We moved on since then and we were told to trust the science back then, to the point now where we doubt everything.

But during those fateful first days, things were really weird, weren’t they?
Remember. Unless maybe only remember for a minute and then move on, right? But they were weird.
I distinctly remember my son was only nine, in fourth grade. School got closed for that two week period of time and all of us knew in the back of our heads this will not end this year. And it didn’t. Along with the not ending, it just kept getting worse.

We’re not going to go back and revisit history, but we’re going to go back for a moment just to put things in perspective. The perspective of time.

Think about this, kids who graduated during COVID most likely have now been graduated for about a year or so from college. That’s how fast time has gone.
Kids who were freshmen during COVID are in their first or second year of college now, or their first or second year of whatever lifestyle and future they chose or ended up with.

Many people who were sick during COVID in those early days in nursing homes and care centers died alone. Families have had to grapple with that since.

Yes, the media promoted dancing nurses, whatever that was, and Italian people singing songs on their porches and balconies in Italy.

They didn’t really show the images of family members gathered outside a window in the cold watching mom or dad die in a hospital bed inside alone without the grasp of human connection at the very end.
We also perhaps have moved on because we just don’t want to talk about that anymore.

But I’m bringing it up to get it back into your brain, just to consider where we were and what we were and how we were.

My son being nine, I remember filling a bathtub for him and I had a mini panic attack about the idea that life will never return back to normal ever again. That what we were confined with in our homes would be forever. Or that we would all die like in Stephen King’s The Stand.

Well, we didn’t all die. But many of us did lose people. My mom did. Maybe yours did too.
Eventually, from the stress of all of it, my father passed away not long after my mom.

And when my mom was passing away in a nursing home, we all had COVID in November of 2021.

That’s my personal tale, but that’s not something I’m going to dwell on because you have your personal tales as well.

There are some good memories too. Listen, for some people who don’t like going out in public, maybe lockdowns weren’t all that bad in a sort of funny way.

But also we had those dreams back then.
I don’t know if you remember that. I don’t know if you recall people across the whole planet online speaking about very strange, vivid dreams.

I remember one of my dreams to this day. It was in the midst of COVID. I think I even wrote about it back then here somewhere.

I dreamed I was looking out my back window of the home and I was watching myself and my son dig a hole that, for some reason in my dream, I remembered being for my father.

That stood out to me. A lot of things stand out to me.

I remember all of us as a society becoming very overworked because we didn’t know when to shut the computer down or turn things off.

But it’s all over now, right? It’s all done.
It changed us, but it’s all done.
I think it changed us in ways we don’t even realize.
Yes, the obvious stuff is there. It created mental health and physical health ailments. It made schooling be a bit dicey. It made the workplace be a bit strange. It changed ways of life for good to the point where there are very few diners open at 2:00 in the morning to get an apple pie and a coffee like in a good 1980s movie.
Most of the time things are closing up at 8:00 or 9:00 at night.
So we’ve been changed in little ways and big ways too.

Six years is a long time.

But yet, in some weird way, it felt like timelines got altered and it all just went by in the blink of an eye.

    Cue the pun: Monkeys business

LoRemember a couple of years ago in Danville, Pennsylvania, when that truck full of monkeys crashed and they got loose for several days? Those monkeys were supposedly carrying some kind of virus, and the whole town was on edge while they ran around before finally being caught. Wild times.

Well, it’s happening again, this time in Mississippi.

Authorities there say several monkeys “have been destroyed,” but three are still on the loose after a truck carrying them crashed on Tuesday.

At first, the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department posted on Facebook that the rhesus monkeys were carrying Hepatitis C, herpes, and COVID, and were considered aggressive toward humans … meaning anyone handling them needed to wear protective gear.

But later, the sheriff’s office clarified those comments with a statement from Tulane University, confirming the monkeys were not infected after all.

Tulane University says they’ll be sending a team tomorrow to collect the remaining monkeys still in cages.

As of right now, police say three monkeys are still on the loose.

A message: The new COVID wave is no joke

COVID levels have reached their second-highest level of the pandemic in the U.S., according to federal wastewater data released Friday—this as related ER visits, hospitalizations, and deaths continue to rise.

National COVID wastewater levels sat at 12.85—the number of standard deviations above baseline—on Dec. 30, according to data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Until then, the pandemic’s second-highest peak had occurred on Dec. 31, 2022, during the XBB.1.5 “Kraken” surge, when levels sat at 10.16.

The pandemic’s all-time high still looms further upward at 23.34—recorded on Jan. 8, 2022, at the height of the first Omicron wave.

I can personally attest to the severity of this round.. I had COVID last in 2021 during the final days of the DELTA wave.. that was cruel but largely short-lived compared to this over-extended Pirola version.

Those around me who also experienced it lost taste similar to DELTA, I did not.. Instead it was a wave of strange muscle aches, a sealed-shut nose for about 10 minutes (odd, right?) an

d a strangely active heart. The increase of the heart rate was noticeable and concerning.. any slight movement, even during sleep, increased beats per minute and caused issues.

Now after at least a week of symptoms some things appear to be going a little smoother and some normalcy is returning.

And yes.. it appears both vaccinated and non vaccinated are having some similar conditions *(despite folks still maintinaing that overall symptoms will decrease with the vaccine, boosters, and Paxlovid) In my case I did not take Paxlovid, and also avoided any painkillers.

Increased regular vitamins in triple, however, and quadrupled water intake.

    Be safe. Do what’s smart.

This spread of this variant is concerning.

Good thing the CDC completely threw the towel in on it ..

Christmas Covid wave his the UK and the US

Positive cases of the virus are currently surging, with 5,975 people testing positive in England in the week leading to December 9.

This is an increase of 38 per cent compared to the week before in the UK..

People suffering from the viral infection have warned that it feels “as bad” or “worse” than the bug they caught at the start of the pandemic.

Scientists have warned waning immunity and the virus evolving are tipping the scales.

EG.5: THE VARIANT THAT IS MAKING A HOLLYWOOD STUDIO MASK UP..

And maybe soon everyone as Alex Jones predicted?

A Hollywood studio has instituted a mask mandate for its employees in light of the current COVID wave. Lionsgate sent an email to staff asking them to mask up on certain floors of its Santa Monica office after several employees caught the virus. The studio is also asking employees to conduct self-screening before coming to the office.

While this is obviously just one office of one studio, the move comes amid some national buzz about whether mask mandates might be returning as variant EG.5 has become dominant in the United States.

Canine test: Dogs know when you have COVID

Is your insurance company refusing to pay for your latest COVID test? Are you getting tired of those deep nose swabs?

    Get a dog..

Not only will you have a friend, but potentially your canine bestie will be able to tell you when you have COVID.

At least according to the “new study”…

The meta-analysis found that dogs’ sense of smell can be a faster, more precise, less expensive – not to mention friendlier – method for detecting COVID-19 than even our best current technology. A growing number of studies over the last two or so years has highlighted the power of dogs in detecting the stealthy virus and its variants, even when they are obscured by other viruses, such as those from common colds and flu. All these enhancements mean that dogs can detect very low concentrations of odors associated with COVID infections.

    Check this out:

“They can detect the equivalent of one drop of an odorous substance in 10.5 Olympic-sized swimming pools,” University of California at Santa Barbara Prof. Emeritus Tommy Dickey said. “For perspective, this is about three orders of magnitude better than with scientific instrumentation.”

In some cases, dogs were able to detect COVID in presymptomatic and asymptomatic patients whose viral load was too low for conventional tests to work.

  • Heart attack hospitalizations at record level since pandemic

Heart attack hospitalizations at record level since pandemic

This news comes from across the pond in the United Kingdom. But the same storyline can be heard across the planet right now: Excess deaths are abundant.

Even personally someone I know very well who is as youthful as me just succumbed to a life changing heart attack. He’s recovering .. but clearly the spike in deaths since Covid showcase something far deeper going on. Something far deadlier as well given the high number of excess deaths occurring..

Government data show almost 100,000 extra deaths among those with heart disease between spring 2020 and spring of this year. In 2019-20, before the pandemic, 82,000 people were hospitalised with heart attacks.

It follows research that found almost half a million people missed out on drugs to prevent heart attacks and strokes during the pandemic.

Heart charities have warned that “extreme disruption to the NHS” in the aftermath, including record ambulance delays, may have worsened death rates and increased the numbers suffering heart attacks that might have been avoided with the right help more quickly.

One of our favorite doctors in social media, John, Campbell, has been following this story post Covid, since the pandemic began to wane. He noticed an upsurge in both deaths unrelated to the virus and also vaccine injuries that were going unreported. His popular YouTube channel has been covering this for over a year.. his latest video spotlights a problem that seemingly is worsening yet being ignored by most legacy media.

  • Covid cases suddenly skyrocket

    Covid cases suddenly skyrocket

Right now cases globally rise 80%.. but deaths currently fall 57%..

The WHO declared in May that Covid is no longer a global health emergency, but has warned that the virus will continue to circulate and mutate, causing occasional spikes in infections, hospitalisations and deaths.

In its weekly update, the UN agency said that nations reported nearly 1.5 million new cases from July 10 to August 6, an 80 percent increase compared to the previous 28 days.

However the number of deaths fell by 57 percent to 2,500.

The WHO warned that the reported number of cases and deaths do not reflect the true numbers, in part because countries carry out far less testing and monitoring than during earlier stages of the pandemic.

Many of the new cases came in the Western Pacific region, which saw infections jump by 137 percent, the WHO said.

Covid booster Friday night safety news dump

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Friday that there is a possible safety issue with the bivalent Covid-19 vaccine made by Pfizer and BioNTech..

The CDC said one of its vaccine safety monitoring systems – a “near real-time surveillance system” called the Vaccine Safety Datalink – detected a possible increase in a certain kind of stroke in people 65 and older who recently got one of Pfizer’s updated booster shots.

“A rapid response analysis” of that signal revealed that seniors who got an bivalent booster might be more likely to have ischemic strokes within the first three weeks after their shots, compared with weeks four through six.

Ischemic strokes, the most common form, are blockages of blood to the brain.

    They’re usually caused by clots..

Officials continue to say that people should be vaccinated and boosted against Covid-19, while media outlets largely downplay any safety issues regarding the vaccine..
