    “I learned my lesson the hardest way possible,” he said. “I was a good father throughout. The one thing I can say that people do say about me was that I was a good father. But I would be a better father—a lot better father.”

    “We have a tablet, we get movies, normally six months later,” Weinstein explained. “And my son said to me, ‘Hey dad, I don’t believe that Captain America [Brave New World] is gonna be a good movie.’ And I say, ‘No. no, it looks good, I’ve heard it’s good go see it.’”

    “He went and saw it and he said, ‘Dad, it was terrible,’” Weinstein recalled. “And then I finally saw and I had to call him on the phone and said, ‘You know what, you’re right, it was terrible.’”

     “You don’t get your shirts, you don’t get your socks, you don’t get your underwear. The food is rancid. I mean it is really awful.”

    Former movie producer Harvey Weinstein was found guilty of three of seven charges against him, including rape, Monday in a Los Angeles sexual assault trial in which prosecutors said he used his Hollywood influence to lure women into private meetings and assault them. 

    Jurors found Weinstein not guilty of one count of sexual battery by restraint against another woman. They were a hung jury on one count of sexual battery by restraint, one count of forcible oral copulation and one count of rape related to two other women – including Jennifer Siebel Newsom, first partner to California Governor Gavin Newsom.

    The three charges he was convicted of – rape, sexual penetration by foreign object and forcible oral copulation – were all tied to one of his accusers, a model and actress who testified the movie mogul assaulted her in a Beverly Hills hotel room in February 2013.

    At around 9 PM, Weinstein and his sober coach got up to leave at the same time Steve and his dinner companion were leaving. Steve tells TMZ he had “quite a bit to drink,” told his friend to fire up his cell phone and shoot video of what was about to happen.
    Steve says he walked up to Weinstein and said, “You’re such a piece of s*** for what you did to these women,” and then punched him in the face twice. He says Weinstein stumbled backward and almost fell.
    A restaurant manager says neither attempted punch connected, and the guy was drunk and out of control.

    Both sides agree … the person who filmed the incident asked Weinstein if he wanted to call the police, but Weinstein declined and everyone left the restaurant.
