CNN reporting on ‘strange voice mail’ when you call people in Iran

    FROM CNN:

People trying to call friends and loved ones inside Iran have instead been met with strange, pre-recorded voice messages, which some experts believe may be part of the regime’s wider internet blackout.

In a recording of a telephone call heard by CNN, a person outside of Iran hoping to hear their friend’s voice on the other line, was instead met with a robotic voice. “Hello, and thank you for taking the time to listen,” the voice says.

“Life is full of unexpected surprises,” it continues, “and these surprises can sometimes bring joy while, at other times, they challenge us.

“The key is to discover the strength within us to overcome these challenges.”

The unsettling message, which lasts nearly 90 seconds, then goes on to recommend the listener close their eyes and imagine themself in a place that brings them “peace and happiness.”

Russia, Ukraine spar over fighting near nuclear facility.. the world is suddenly on edge. Europe gets freaked..

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — A fire at a munitions depot inside Russia forced the evacuation of two villages near the border with Ukraine, an official said Friday, while two civilians were reported wounded by Russian shelling near the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant as both sides traded accusations about fighting near the facility in southern Ukraine.

The fire late Thursday struck the munitions storage building near the village of Timonovo in Russia’s Belgorod region on Ukraine’s northeastern border. About 1,100 people live in Timonovo and Soloti, about 15 miles (25 kilometers) from the border. No one was hurt, said Belgorod regional Gov. Vyacheslav Gladkov.

  • Fears in Europe over the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant

Fears in Europe over the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant

NBC: Why is the world so worried about Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant? Experts warn that an explosion around the plant, which is being shelled, could leak radiation across Europe.

Built by the then-Soviet Union in the 1980s, Zaporizhzhia’s six light-water reactors make it among the 10 most powerful nuclear power stations in the world.

After the invasion began Feb. 24, the Kremlin war machine took a little over a week to capture the plant at Enerhodar, a city that is around a 2-hour drive southwest of the larger Zaporizhzhia.

Russian forces’ seizure of the plant a week after the invasion began caused initial concerns when a fire erupted at the site after shelling.

That offensive marked the first time in history that war had broken out in a country with such a large and advanced nuclear power infrastructure, according to the Vienna-based International Atomic Energy Agency, which reports to the United Nations.

That panic renewed this week after shelling damaged several buildings and a power cable, and put one reactor offline, according to Energoatom, Ukraine’s national energy company.

The plant provides Ukraine with more than 20% of its power.

Moscow is “blackmailing the whole world with the possibility of a nuclear disaster,” according to Hryhoriy Plachkov, former head of the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine.

Russia, which is occupying the plant, has traded accusations of responsibility with Ukraine, which appears to be mounting a renewed offensive in the south of the country.

It is not known how many of the plant’s 11,000 prewar staff continue to work at the site. One former employee told NBC News that it was “very scary for them to work” under Russian control, amid reports that some of them were being held hostage.

Dangerous radioactive particles have been detected across Europe and no-one knows where they came from

Dangerous radioactive particles have been detected across Europe and no-one knows where they came from:

DANGEROUS radioactive particles have been detected in seven different European countries and scientists can’t explain where they have come from.

Traces of Iodine-131 were found in Norway, Finland, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, France and Spain in January, but the public were not immediately alerted.

They appear to be coming from somewhere in Eastern Europe..

I would assume this story has some truth to it, it is appearing in the UK SUN, which is tabloidish but still has shades of reality..

But I am always perplexed with the question of why it’s not bigger news around the globe.

Something very covert seemingly is taking place behind the scenes.. John McCain questioning the president overseas–even Mike Pence somewhat doing the same..Something very covert may be happening right under our noses.
