This is how President Obama dealt with a heckler June 24 in the White House.. The President said ‘you’re in my house’ … the heckler didn’t stop.

The heckler was protesting deportations under the President’;s order..

The straw that broke the Republican’s back

News from the silly world of politics..

The Iowa Straw Poll, a high-profile Republican Party tradition for nearly four decades, is now dead. The Iowa Republican Party on Friday voted unanimously to kill the state’s presidential straw poll in an early morning conference call..

And most people who are reporting about it, on both sides, seem enthusiastic about it.

Maybe the real reason this is is because with the amount of candidates running in the GOP field, they will not be enough straws to go around.

Queen’s speech reflects broken system & out of touch government

The queen mum, sitting amongst her gold and jewels, spoke to the peasants. A broken country, a divided nation.. and a royalty shielded from the truth of the land…

Richard Sudan wrote the article linked with this post. It’s a good read..And perhaps a good reasons monarchies have become even bigger hindrances of progress than any other form of government..

A young Denny Hasert.. Teacher and wrestling coach.. And now indicted on charges he was paying off at least one person he sexually abused at the time this yearbook photo was taken..
And now the rest is history and more has yet to be added ….

That strange call from Yorkville on Cspan sure makes sudden sense.

This was my favorite as the most snarky of the MATT DRUDGE comments tonight on Twitter about John Boeher.. You can read the rest on this link for posterity, as Drudge will most likely delete them all as he regularly does with each tweet..

  • THE VAST CLINTON CONSPIRACY

    THE VAST CLINTON CONSPIRACY

    WHAT IF..

Hillary got rid of half her emails & used one account for convenience »

While I don’t propose that as a definite, I only bring it up as a possibility..

What if.. what if.. Hillary and Bill thought this whole thing up? Triangulate, slowly drip out the news that Hillary may —cue the music— had a private email system on her personal server.. What if Bill and Hill figured to own this, they release it.. get bombarded, embattled.. and create Hillary as the Teflon woman, the iron lady of the United States.. the comeback kid of the 21st century..

I got this thought today during the theater of Hillary Clinton’s press conference.. she downplayed her scandal. And her first questioner—one that noticeably was chosen by a media handler—asked  Hill basically, if a man did what she did, would people care? And Hillary handled it with ease, a smile, and a knowing ‘thank you’ without stating it.

She won today—I know lots of people say she didn’t.. But she won.

In one sense, people like the notion of Hillary because, face it, it’s going to get fun again. Politics will be theater again, good theater.. MEET THE PRESS may actually become a must watch again..

I could be completely wrong about this theory, maybe absolutely wrong.

But as the email slow drip starts, if we see very positive emails of a commander possible Commander In Chief directing situations with ease, then my theory will become more than just a theory..

    Yes indeed.
    Triangulation..
    90s style.

  • PRESIDENTIAL SWEATS

I’m not the only one who noticed an unsettling image of a sweaty Obama last night.. Matt Drudge did too.. Of course he took it a step further pondering if Obama knows ‘something terrible’ is on the way ..Though I still think the 2009 phase of flies being attracted to Obama was much creepier..

I’m not the only one who noticed an unsettling image of a sweaty Obama last night.. A lot of people watched a very sweaty and strange looking Commander in Chief give a message to the GRAMMY Awards audience last night about domestic violence..

Twitter was alive with comments about Barack Obama’s odd appearance.. Lots of people saw the sweat piling up on his brow ..

Matt Drudge did too.. Of course he took it a step further pondering if Obama knows ‘something terrible’ is on the way ..Though I still think the 2009 phase of flies being attracted to Obama was much creepier..

  • SEALED WITH A KISS. WELCOME BACK TO THE 20TH CENTURY

    ing wrong.

This is the now. There is no more future..
To hear the debates in Congress, the tired old foolish whims of old men, is beyond frustrating. The lackluster performance isn’t a verdict on the system–the amazing part of our founding fathers is that devised something that could withstand war and rage and the tests of time. But what needs changed are the minds and attitudes of the ruling class.

There is a great unveiling occurring across the internet world.

This week, I was reminded of the 1990s again.. Bill Clinton was able to get away with quite a bit and leave office with a nation loving his presidency.. The Seinfeld era, a decade about nothing, was a success for Clinton.. His sexual tribulations didn’t matter but instead led to a more erect President in front of the American people.. Things may change now though in this century.. Clinton finds himself embroiled in a strange and lurid scandal involving a pedophile named Jeffrey Epstein.. And now thanks to the internet (and the British press) we are finding out quite a bit more than we ever though possible about Bubba. And his 20+ phone numbers. We also know that the houseman for Epstein cleaned his sex toys and was constantly afraid he would disappear.  Matt Drudge was the lone wolf in the 1990s who cleared the way for the internet when he blazed a headline and siren on his page about Bill Clinton having sex with an intern in the White House. If it was sex, of course.. But these days, the DAILY BEAST is the one who is claiming other media sources dropped the ball on the Epstein scandal.. Vicky Ward wrote a piece titled “I tried to warn you about sleazy Billionaire Jeffrey Epstein in 2002.” Among her interesting words,

Upon hearing of my assignment, Epstein had invited me to an off-the-record tea at his Upper East Side house (during which I distinctly remember he rudely ate all the finger food himself) and then had his assistant call to tell me he’d thought I was pretty.

    Even more

Separately, Hoffenberg’s daughter has gotten in touch—and it’s gotten me thinking. There are some injustices that maybe only time can right. And perhaps now is the time. Things happened then that simply shouldn’t have, and if I don’t talk about them, then probably no one will.

Ward’s piece for VANITY FAIR on Epstein was scrubbed of any references to women claiming abuse. That was 2002. Eons ago in Internet language.

The future is now. The scandals of yesterday have a renewed place in the Internet of today, and a new generation is constantly judging the old one. Children not of age in the 1990s may wonder why Bill Clinton got away with it.. children not of age in the 1980s recently became shocked at the fall of Bill Cosby from the national applause sign..

    Everything that’s old is new.
    Except our Congress..

There the same debates still occur as they did in the late 1980s.. Many people still be in a mindset that there’s a Cold War.. that we are far away from others .. instead we’ve never been closer. With our modern technology, we have never known more about everything and everywhere in the world.

We are educated. We are understanding. And we are not young and dumb..

Some may be able to stop a few websites. But not a billion. Not a trillion.

There’s information beyond our wildest dreams. And quite frankly, LOTS of it is true. Even the ‘tin foil’ types have facts to back up their often lengthy diatribes about our modern world and news of the day..

The economy is changing drastically.. pop culture is evolving every 12 hours.. the weather is more fierce and the demographics of America are rapidly evolving.

But John Boehner is the speaker of the House. And Nancy Pelosi kissed him.

  • President Obama goes to the hospital–and the media chooses not to have a feeding frenzy

I am apparently uniquely surprised that news networks are not going wild in a feeding frenzy about President Barack Obama being whisked away to a hospital and being admitted for a sore throat that has been present for weeks.. he has been diagnosed with acid reflux, mainstream talking heads tell us. The Saturday news affair didn’t get much attention besides a few blips on media sources, small links on news websites.. Drudge picked it up but spun it a different way, with a mock on Obamacare:

    obamacare

But should this not be a bigger deal?

I recall when George W. Bush choked on a pretzel during a football game, the media went wall to wall. Partially because it seemed like such a bonehead way to have an accident, and also because he was the leader of the free world.. grimacing in pain and losing air on the floor while choking on a pretzel..

In this instance, during a rainstorm in Washington D.C., a motorcade lined the street to take President Obama to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland.. he had to undergo a series of tests, including a CT Scan .. finally, we are told that that tests showed the President was being hit with acid reflux.. Again, they tell us.

According to reports, the President was at the hospital for over an hour.

There are comments on a multitude of stories mocking the President’s mile long motorcade as overkill, others are claiming that the President overreacted and that his acid reflux was not a serious thing.. I say it’s fine for an over abundant testing regiment any time the President even has as much as a headache..

I also doubt the mainstream story on this. I really do.

I don’t know what gut instinct, or acid reflux belch, tells me this, but I think there is more to this story.. It seems like overkill on one hand.. but ont he other should the media not be asking more about the tests, wondering if the President was awake for all of them, getting information on whether Joe Biden was on standby just in case anything occurred at the hospital? Yes.

But instead we are just given a little snippet of news with a talking point medical paragraph about what acid reflux is and how you get it.

Trust me, media; This is America. We smoke, drink, and eat too much. I think we all know what acid reflux is..

But what we do want to know more about why now for the President’s medical treatment.. Sore throat for weeks.. but the motorcade decided to pick a drenched Saturday morning–the same one when a botched rescue mission left an Al Qaeda hostage dead— to take the President to the hospital.
