CHAOS ERUPTS AT WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENTS DINNER AFTER SHOTS FIRED; TRUMP AND CABINET RUSHED OUT

    LIVE UPDATES NEW YORK TIMES..

    AP..

    DEVELOPING…

True chaos erupted at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner tonight, as reports began to surface of a shooting in the lobby just outside the ballroom—right before the evening’s festivities were set to begin.

According to what is known at the time of this writing, the shooter has been apprehended. But in those initial moments, confusion and fear took over quickly.

Former President Donald Trump, the First Lady, and members of the cabinet were rushed out of the event. Trump himself was abruptly pulled from his seat—either stumbling or being forced to the ground—before being quickly escorted out of the room by security.

Inside the ballroom, reporters—many of whom would normally be the ones delivering the news—were instead diving under tables, trying to make sense of what was happening while protecting themselves as shots were reportedly being fired just outside the room.

Information has been slow to come in, and understandably so. The very people who would be reporting on the situation were in the middle of it, taking cover as the situation unfolded in real time.

The Drudge Report has already thrown up its signature siren, signaling the severity and urgency of the moment. At this point, there is still uncertainty as to whether the dinner will continue. Trump has reportedly expressed that he would like the event to go on, but ultimately said the decision will rest with law enforcement.

Another angle courtesy of TMZ shows the table during the incident..

Oddly… Karoline Levitt said, comically, there will be “Shots fired” at the dinner tonight..

    Additionally.. further oddity ..

Fox News reporter was on reporting saying, “The Press Secretary’s husband was one of our guests; he was sitting right next to me. Right as dinner was starting, the National Anthem played, and then he leaned over and said, ‘I watched you on TV, you do a great job, but you need to be very safe.’ “He was very serious when he said that to me, and he kinda looked around the room and said, ‘There are some–’”. The call then mysteriously cut off, with many viewers believing it was done on purpose.

Later, still in a bow tie, the President addressed the press..

  • The White House releases horror movie teasers

The White House releases horror movie teasers

The White House just posted something… weird.
Two very strange and cryptic videos hit their official social media, and neither of them felt like anything close to normal government communication. One of them was deleted almost immediately, which of course only makes it more interesting.

The deleted clip looked sloppy, almost accidental. It showed a woman’s shoes… metallic heels… and a voice saying, “it’s launching soon, right?” Then it was gone. No explanation and no follow-up.

That’s a way to get a citizenry riled up right?

The second video is still up, and somehow even stranger. It feels like an intro to a horror movie. Static. A drooping American flag. A notification ding. The whole thing has this eerie, Texas Chainsaw Massacre-type energy where you’re not sure what you’re looking at, but you know it’s off.
Now here’s where it gets even more interesting.
According to reports, the first video was posted early Thursday and quickly deleted. A second clip followed showing that static-filled scene with the American flag, and that one has racked up millions of views. Both posts spread across platforms like X and Instagram, and naturally the theories started flying.

Some people think it was a pocket dial situation. Others think it was some kind of internal error. And then there are those who believe it’s something more intentional… maybe even tied to the rising tension between the U.S. and Iran, especially after reports that President Trump delayed strikes on Iranian power plants.
As of now, there’s no official explanation from the White House.

So what are we looking at here?

A simple mistake that just happens to look like the opening of a horror film… or something a little more deliberate dressed up as chaos?
    You pick the door.

Either way, it’s not every day that the White House drops something that feels like it belongs on a VHS tape found in the woods.

  • Cold as ICE: Was Renee Good still alive when federal ICE agents blocked a medic?

Cold as ICE: Was Renee Good still alive when federal ICE agents blocked a medic?

New records from emergency responders obtained by The New York Times show that Good was not breathing but had an irregular pulse when local medics arrived at the scene, and had no pulse by the time they removed her from her car. This comes after an initial video captured by bystanders showed ICE agents screaming at a medic who offered help as Good lay dying in her car.

    MORE from the account..

“Can I go check a pulse?” a man said after Good was shot, his hands in the air.

“No! Back up!” an ICE agent told him.

    “I’m a physician!”

“I don’t care!” the agent replied, before another came up and said they had their own EMS on the way. They arrived and performed CPR on Good—who had two gunshots in her chest and one on her arm—before taking her to the hospital, where she later died.

    Meanwhile..

Federal officers in the Minneapolis area participating in its largest recent U.S. immigration enforcement operation can’t detain or tear gas peaceful protesters who aren’t obstructing authorities, including when these people are observing the agents, a judge in Minnesota ruled Friday.

U.S. District Judge Kate Menendez’s ruling addresses a case filed in December on behalf of six Minnesota activists. The six are among the thousands who have been observing the activities of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Border Patrol officers enforcing the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area since last month.

We are at a pivotal moment in time on another level.. especially with this:

President Trump Filmed Flipping Off Ford Worker Who Yells ‘Pedophile Protector’ at Him

Tmz Splash this on their website today with other news networks quickly picking up on it, and insult her around the world along with a presidential response that in past administrations would have been considered scandalous. Now it’s just a blip on the nightly news.

TRUMP toured the Ford F-150 plant at the Detroit Economic Club before giving a speech … while walking the factory floor on his tour, someone began shouting at Trump. It’s hard to make out the full sentence shouted at Trump, but it seems to have included the words “pedophile protector.”

At this point it was pretty clear what the president was mouthing back to the worker followed by the one finger salute. No more information has been gathered but of course the media will be chomping at the bit to talk to the worker and find out more, meanwhile we will all simultaneously move on to the next big issue an hour from now…

SOON: A political horror movie we never saw coming?

In a world where everything is shocking, nothing is shocking.. at least not for very long.

Donald Trump posted an image to his Truth Social account early this morning, apparently reposted from another account. The image is grainy, black and white, and shows Trump standing on top of the White House. Above him is a single word:
    “Soon.”

Naturally, commentary was immediate. Seeing something like this, it’s impossible not to speculate. What is “soon”? What’s coming? Is it symbolic? Is it a tease? A threat? A joke? Or nothing at all? More ICE raids ? Well yes that’s happening ..

Honestly, the image looks less like a political post and more like a horror movie cover. In fact, I saw it spreading across several horror-focused websites, where it was shared almost respectfully for the genuinely unsettling aura it gives off. Stark lighting. High contrast. A lone figure looming over an iconic building. If you slapped a studio logo on it, no one would question the genre.

What makes it even stranger is the idea of a president or former president leaning into imagery designed to unsettle or intimidate. Whether intentional or not, it flirts with fear as a form of messaging. And that’s the unsettling part. Not just the image itself, but how normalized this kind of thing has become.

But then again, this is the world we live in now—where politics, spectacle, and horror aesthetics blur together until it’s hard to tell where one ends and the other begins.

  • Phantom of the Bubba

    Phantom of the Bubba

*** since this post is written many days ago more information has come out stating that it was just a humorous conversation and not an implication that anything occurred between Donald Trump and Bill clinton. You can read more about that in the advocate here. In the meantime for posterity here’s the original report that we wrote then ***

What a weird day in news and politics.. reporters have been apprehensive about sharing or reporting this but the internet has gone wild with Trump and Jeffrey Epstein and now Bill Clinton connections..

One of the emails released, from Epstein’s brother Mark Epstein, has gone viral. In it, Mark speculates if Putin has a photo of “Trump blowing Bubba.”

The mention of the President “blowing Bubba” has caused a storm on social media, as ‘Bubba’ is the nickname of former President Bill Clinton, who is also alleged to have been associated with Epstein.

But people have taken it and molded it into thr political shocker worthy of a Trump Season 2 plot shift..

Drudge was in his glory mockinga Trump and also Clinton–hardening back to what got Drudge famous to begin with in the late 90s..

Meanwhile Trump raised eyebrows along with the volume at the White House…

Politico correspondent Jake Taylor noted on Friday afternoon that music from “The Phantom of the Opera” was playing so loudly it could be heard outside the White House. The president is said to be a notorious fan of Broadway show tunes and enjoys playing DJ at events.

    ICE gets creepy on Halloween

A Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman offered a two-word reply Friday in response to a local news report that said immigration agents were seen wearing Halloween masks in the Los Angeles area.

“Happy Halloween!” DHS assistant secretary for public affairs Tricia McLaughlin wrote to NBC News when asked about the report.

The story by the local news site LA Taco featured images posted to social media showing what the outlet says were agents in unmarked cars donning Chucky and Momo masks. It said a member of the Harbor Area Peace Patrol, which monitors federal activity in the area, spotted the vehicle with the Momo mask-wearing driver at an immigration raid on Tuesday.

  • Politics and pop culture collide again as Halo memes being used for recruitment

Politics and pop culture collide again as Halo memes being used for recruitment

📣 When the White House Borrows from Halo: A Recruitment Gambit That’s Both Brilliant and Unnerving

So here’s a wild one for you. Imagine this: the powers that be in the White House, or at least whoever’s running their social media playbook , decide to roll out a recruitment campaign for ICE and Homeland Security. And what do they use to get people’s attention? An image straight out of Halo…the Flood, that creepy parasitic alien menace.

Now, let’s break this down a bit, because there’s a lot going on here. On one level, it’s actually a pretty clever piece of marketing if you think about who they’re targeting. They’re obviously aiming at a certain demographic.. people who grew up on Halo, who understand the reference, and who might feel a little secret thrill of recognition. It’s like a hidden message just for them: “Hey, you know what the Flood is? Then you get what we’re talking about.”

But on the flip side, and this is where it gets shaky, it’s also a little unnerving. They’re turning a fictional alien invasion that consumes everything in its path into a metaphor for real human beings. And let’s be honest, it’s not exactly a flattering metaphor. It kind of puts a militarized target on people, and that’s where it gets ethically murky.

It also tells you a lot about the Trump-era approach to media and marketing. They took what Obama did with social media back in 2008 and cranked it up to eleven. They know how to dominate the internet game and how to get attention.. good press, bad press, it all keeps them in the spotlight. And this is just another example of that: using a piece of pop culture that resonates with a certain group to send a message that only they’ll fully get.

In the end, it’s a fascinating, if kind of eyebrow-raising, tactic. It shows just how much of a double-edged sword this kind of marketing can be both effective and a little unsettling. And hey, maybe that’s the point. It’s 2025, and this is just another chapter in the ongoing saga of how politics and pop culture keep colliding in the wildest ways.
