Meteorite weighed 10 tons before it entered Earth’s atmosphere, Russian Academy of Science says .. Developing..

Maybe something.. This snippet of information comes from the UK GUARDIAN:

Professor Ian Crawford of Birkbeck University was just interviewed about the meteorites on Sky News.

He said it was too early to tell if this incident was connected to the asteroid passing by the earth tonight.

The interviewed expert ends by stating the two space objects are ‘probably not’ connected..

I think the jury is out.
Just hope no more meteorites will shower the planet the rest of the day… And in fact I’m sure Russia hopes the same, too..

This is a developing story.. A meteorite has crashed into Russia.. but there’s more than just a crash.

Russia’s Urals region has been rocked by a meteorite explosion in the stratosphere. The impact wave damaged several buildings, and blew out thousands of windows amid frigid winter weather. Hundreds are seeking medical attention for minor injuries.

And the timing?? Today is the day an asteroid is passing within 17,000 miles from earth.. Is no wonder pass panic ensued.

Russian officials have found a crater where the meteorite hit, according to new reports..

Los Angeles police and the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office moved Tuesday night to counter reports that a body believed to be that of renegade ex-cop Christopher Dorner had been recovered from a burning cabin near Big Bear Lake, California.

“No body has been pulled out,” LAPD Cmdr. Andrew Smith said at a news conference. “No reports of a body being ID’d are true.”

The cabin area was “too hot to make entry,” Smith added.

CBS LA: A body believed to be to that of quadruple-murder suspect Christopher Dorner has been recovered from a burned out cabin where he was holed up during a deadly shootout with authorities earlier today.

What to watch?
The killer cop Dorner standoff or the State of the union..? News stations are grappling with that question.

What is clear however was the Waco-like ending to this story seems to be occurring.. The cabin continues to burn and no one is permitted in the vicinity.. Firefighters have not been able to begin their work yet either..
